WWE 2K24 Patch 1.13: Full Details, DLC Delayed, New Unlockables, Patch Notes & More!

- A new patch 1.13 update is now available for WWE 2K24 that adds in all of the content featured in the upcoming Pat McAfee DLC Pack, however the pack itself has been pushed back until July 31st.
The delay to the Pat McAfee DLC Pack comes after Pat claimed the July 24th drop date was wrong, leading to WWE Games confirming the delay, noting that the DLC has been moved to July 31st.
It was also confirmed by WWE Games the pack will include an american football as a new playable weapon.
Also featured in this video we have the first look at Pat McAfee's DLC entrance, and a list of updates and changes made in Patch 1.13, including the addition of two new persona cards for the Elite The Rock and Elite Hulk Hogan action figures, which appear to have been added in preparation for an upcoming SummerSlam promotion when buying the new line of figures.

I think the way both Pat and 2k handled the criticism made it seemed like 2k didn't care about the fans. Pat made of the fans for not liking the dlc pack on his show. Meanwhile 2k's stay tuned announcement made it seem like a big change was happening in the pack however all it revealed was a football and a delay. On top of that when Pat made fun of the fans on his show, in a now deleted tweet 2k responded with "😂😂😂" which made them look like they didn't care.

What I don’t understand is why they for example couldn’t add someone like Torrie Wilson who appears on that mobile 2K Game and a hall of famer but instead chooses Pat’s friends (who doesn’t appear on any WWE programming) that many people don’t seem to be interested or recognize them
They should've just cancel the whole DLC and replace it with wrestlers and not non wrestlers it's not our fault wwe 2k gave us a crappy DLC pack they only have themselves to blame not us
I have 0 plans to use any of the guys in the DLC, but the moves being added are great.
Worse comes to worse, you could always use them as jobbers in Universe mode.
Then they should've added more moves and just make it a proper moves pack like the old days. This DLC is pathetic and something at 2K needs to change.

I imagine the DLC broke the patches or something. Nothing surprises me with 2k, more crap we didn’t ask for or want. The fact they still haven’t fixed MITB for universe mod amazes me, I mean ffs we can’t cash in without a rivalry, we can’t manually cash in mid match and we can’t cash in at a PLE excluding announcing it. The games stale with nothing actually enjoyable to do and the only thing that keeps the game alive is community creations which is now completely broken, randomly replacing images and with a stupid 1000 image limit. Its gonna take an awful lot to make me buy next years game.

Did you know, you can assign locked DLC moves early by going to preview and then pressing assign move.
Someone found files for Alundra Blayze, Eddy Thorpe, Sol Ruca and the Great Khali.
Could that have meant that they were originally planned to be in, but were removed to add Pat's podcast buddies?

What's really even MORE worse regarding the ongoing situation is that WWE games replied on Twitter to Pat McAfee's response to the upset gamers via a recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show with this:

That's absolutely disgusting coming from WWE Games, a fucking gaming company, might I add! Laughing at gamers (aka "paying customers") who have the right to be upset over something they really don't need is just unprofessionally petty and downright unbelievable.
But they eventually deleted that reply because they knew they would be in the shit if they went and posted that disgusting reply.

I doubt this factored into their final decision, but 2K has generated more engagement & discourse around this DLC pack through its delay than it probably would have received just by dropping the DLC as scheduled

@Smacktalks I recently lost all of my creations and my game started over completely and I lost all of my modes universe mode, my rise, and the wrestlemania modes arenas literally everything. I'm on Xbox. It's gone for good I tried some fixes but nothing worked. Does this happen often? I don't even want to play at this point, I spent my money on the best version of this game and it's frustrating that this happened.

I hope we will get Brock Lesnar included in this DLC as an extra. Maybe that's the delay? Or possibly even more then just Lesnar but Brock has been asked for the most and actually makes sense to be put in this DLC Pack. 🙃🙃

While Pat is a nice addition to the game and finally he's been added no one asked for the rest of his buddies. They didn't even make appearances also Pat should've been DLC for 2K22. What would've made sense is if Jake Paul and KSI and Johnny Knoxville would've been DLC since they made some kind of appearance with Knoxville actually wrestling. Yk what Vince McMahon wrecking Pat McAfee doesn't seem that bad at all now
The thing that absolutely blows my mind , is the fact that people like myself that own this game, spend more time watching “news” on TH-cam about this game than actually playing it. If that doesn’t tell you what’s up I don’t know what does.

Did you know? You can still assign the new dlc moves to your caws You just need to preview the move and then hit X on Playstation. And not sure if it works for Xbox but for Xbox users it would be A.
The only thing I look forward to is using the Pat guys as fodder for MyGM mode
The DLC really should be called "Pat McAfee and the Literal Who's" because I know none of them; even as a football fan, they weren't on any teams I was a fan of. This makes about as much sense as 2K's "fun" little collab with Team FaZe - probably made sense on paper, but on a larger scale, made absolutely no sense at all.
A DLC pack for WWE could use right now is a crossover with Capcom and SNK - both are gaining traction right now and EVO was a huge hit: video game wrestlers, an official tie-in! That would definitely ramp up some heat in WWE! ...but.... no, it's... just some former football players who's days are behind them I guess.

If I may be honest Id rather have Ruthless Agression DLC. Young Cena, Young Batista, Rick Flair, Maven, Sheldon Benjamin, Brock Lesnar and Goldberg. At the very least just Cena and Batista. And Ruthless Agression era Triple H. As much as I understand Cena his showcase attires. It just doesnt feel like extra content since you can just put the attires yourself.
Did you know that you can throw steel steps in the crowd area, if a wrestler stands there? The steps would hit them, just to disappear once they touch the ground

Could of had a better dlc characters in pat mcafee. They should have included someone like Andrade, Naomi, torrie Wilson, Lola vice and the rest of the bloodline

They should have added Danny Devito's Trashman as DLC. Or just have an all Sunny in Philadelphia DLC pack in general and have the gang with their wrestling personas and a "Da Maniac" costume for Roddy Piper.

I’m on the game now and it says that they are on my roster but I need to wait until they come out and usually their on there the day before
One small concern is whether WWE 2K25 will include Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, Big Show, and Chris Benoit in their DLC.
Are they gonna fix the un-usable Universe mode ever!?
The only excitement I had for this DLC (and the previous DLC, TBF) are the new moves, and then they go and delay it one week?
I'd rather they make this a Pat & Moves pack, delay it till September and switch it for the 4th (superior) pack.
Also, why do I keep seeing people claim the delay is to accommodate the Wyatt Sicks being included in the pack? No way in hell is that happening. I highly doubt the Wyatts targeting Pat on his show is in any way, shape or form connected to this game. I'm not ruling out a surprise, with the addition of it potentially mitigating a lot of negativity regarding the DLC packs this year, especially this one (Let's be honest, they do truly suck, don't they? The inclusion of Punk and the Sept pack are the only ones worth the purchase, but i'm a sucker for new moves, so i'm a hypocritical sheep), but 4 of the Sicks are already in the game, and the CC have done a wonderful job creating new attires for them to match their new personalities (With the exception of Bo/Howdy, I mean, the ones created from scratch are class, but there's not much you can do with the Howdy model that's in the game, the hair being a very big issue and the fact that you can't unmask him, so Bo isn't technically in the game), so paying DLC prices for characters already in the game would likely result in more anger from fans.
I really think 2K should delay this pack altogether, and give us things we actually want, or do a whole pack of moves, that would at least help to circumvent my irritation of this nonsense pack that NOBODY, bar the egos of Pat and his mates, asked for. (I have no problem with Pat, but it's his stupid little buddies, why do they get a place in the game and yet, we still don't have a new bloody stomp???!)
It's a great game, nonetheless.

I would enjoy playing as Pat McAfee....but I don't know about the other characters.

When the game is started without your console been connected to the Internet, players with custom championships dont come out with the custom belt unless its been defended for.

Replace it with a DX pac
OG DX HBK, Triple H, Chyna and Rick Rude. Then the last DX run of HBK Triple H. The models are already there just tweak them. Add the DX theme and the OG trons (videos) and The more current trons (videos). At least people will actually give a crap about this pack.

I know the very high majority, hate this DLC pack. Which I do understand, cause I would've preferred NXT stars... Or even a MyRise superstar pack. Like honestly his "friends" could've been the superstars that are locked in MyRise mode.. but I digress.. other than that, I'm looking forward to this DLC pack because I know its going to come with some cool, much needed moves for CAWs. I'd even consider this a moves pack with perks. Perks being these friends having themes, trons, and extra weapons.
Please fix some bugs and issues on creating an arena. Some make improvements!

They need to FIX the ambulance and casket matches, not play around. It's virtually impossible to put someone onto the ambulance and casket on higher difficulty even if you had a turbo controller. The matches are now useless.
