I half-expected Roman Reigns to win by the referee calling the match off after Roman's berserker rage nearly kills the Rock. Like, Roman going overboard with the Rock the moment he brings up his father. Roman tossing the Rock outside, slamming his face onto the announce table multiple times till he's busted open, slam his face on the steel chair, multiple Spears and Superman Punches, not even going for a pin, just outright destroying the Rock, splattering the poor Final Boss' blood everywhere till the referee calls for the bell.

That'd be crazy, but we don't know how much longer we'll have Punk. It would suck if they finally let him win the rumble but screwed him out of the main event again for a storyline he's not even in lol He could retire at ANY moment, he could just walk out and announce a retirement tour like Cena at ANY moment, or he could just outright quit on any given Raw. Punk might just be a commentator for Mania 41, Punk might be in a coma and miss 41. We don't know. I just think we shouldn't take Punk for granted, if we have the chance to give him the main event, why take it away for shitty nostalgia? The Rock winning the belt from Cody would piss off a lot of folks but it would make for a great story. Cody already had his moment. We’ve waited for Roman and Rock long enough. I would love it if Rock went super heel and started calling himself “High Chief” Rocky Maivia, a reference to his grandad, his dad and the fact that the late king of Samoa anointed Rock with the title of “Seiuli”.

I don't think Rock VS Roman needs the title. In fact I think Orton taking the title off Cody is a better idea. I would book Roman to interfere in the Rock vs Cody match to add fuel to the fire. There also is no long term benefit to having Rock or Roman being champion. Rock may never wrestle again after his match with Roman. And Roman is a part timer. We already had a part time reign with him. We don't need another one. People will be more mad about it with Roman as a face.

No need to get the Title involved in their match anymore. The Rock "finishing the job that Roman Reigns couldn't" line also doesn't make sense considering Roman beat Cody at WrestleMania 39 a year prior to their rematch and The Rock already pinned Cody on Night One of WrestleMania XL. By the time they face off (which will likely not be until at least WrestleMania 42) they should both be 1-1 in pinfall wins over Cody Rhodes.
