I think they released a concept single like this on purpose, because they needed it. because if they want to survive in this industry at least they have to have a lot of KOREAN fans, why? because with so many Korean fans, there are more physical and digital album sales, as well as streaming rankings on music applications so that they win lots of awards and so that their songs are always on their TOP CHART. if you only rely on global fans then it will be difficult, because of course album prices in global are more expensive and digital evaluations are also not included in the calculation for awards. Maybe because you live in the USA, your taste in music is more hola, because of cultural differences, even though you yourself are Korean. but it's true, the latest single this time is specifically aimed at hooking the Korean market, especially now that they are showing more of their comeback advertisements in many places in Korea. yes! they should be as popular as AESPA which debuted in the same year.
Ooh I think you got me wrong haha I'm saying although this type of song might "succeed" in Korea, it does sound like the rest so in the Korean perspective, they wouldn't find this appealing since they would probably think, why listen to this when I can listen to other KPOP groups that have similar tune.
