That's an interesting topic for a podcast. I feel so bad, you always say "do you remember that scene?" and I haven't seen any of the K-Dramas.😅 But I've made a note of them and will suggest them to my wife, maybe they'll be good for a romantic, cheesy movie night.🍿 Great podcast Jinri!💜

They're both really good singes. Max is technically amazing--no one can do what he does with those high notes without having more talent than the law allows. But, honestly? I prefer Yunho as a singer, because his voice has more warmth and his timbre is so pleasing to my ears. When he sings, it moves me more. I think that's why he gets all the best 'emotional' verses in this song, the ones that convey the most longing and poignancy. His vocal style reminds me of legendary singers like Frank Sinatra, who never bothered to have much of a range, octave-wise,, but he didn't need fireworks like that. Not when his voice was so easy on the ears, and how something in his style touched people's hearts. Yunho is similar in that respect. Plus Yunho is the sexist male idol in all of K-Pop. It's not even a contest. Changmin can have the technical vocal chops. Yunho got everyone's share of raw animal magnetism. I always want to leap on him and thigh-lock his face.

If there is a group of foreigners involved though, in my observations from the past 4 years, the Koreans will segregate themselves away from the foreigners and leave the supervisors to sit with the foreigners. At our holiday party last month, the directors didn't sit with us, and all the foreigners were left by ourselves. We don't eat that much, so after 45 minutes we were ready to leave. We didn't want to be rude, so we waited for the Koreans to finish. One girl from the UK was just knitting at the restaurant. We were completely unnoticed. Close to 1hr 45 minutes in we couldn't take it any more and we all just left at the same time. I've never felt more undesired at a company than I do in Korea.

Been a K-pop Stan since November of 1997, thanks to S.E.S. Bada was my 1st bias. I loved Fin.K.L, Circle, and O-24 as well. Fans today may think or believe that BABY V.O.X and S.E.S. were the first girl groups but there was Settorae who debuted on April 1, 1988. Actually Lee Gai from Settorae went onto join BABY V.O.X in '98.

1st gen kpop will never be forgotten because it was and still is so good!!! also, happy new years!!! 👑

I'm American. I actually enjoyed tipping in the US because I think it shows gratitude and appreciation. Now that I am living in Korea, I prepare my tips with notes of gratitude. I live alone though, so I don't eat out that often. Only when my school has a meal together, so about twice a year. I make sure to leave it where the servers will notice.
