Went on Omegle as a teen (I know, very stupid). Guy around my age was getting people’s IPs to mess with them. He said “how’s the weather in (my town’s name)” I told him it’s really nice! Pretty sunny and warm. He didn’t like that. So he said “I know where you live.” I told him, yeah I also know where I live. He said “I’m gonna show up to your house.” I said cool, bring some soda and I’ll order a pizza. He left the call. Still have yet to see him and I’m 21 now.
@@Bluecifur i was messing around with someone on a chat while at work, managed to find the building address and threaten me. told him to come around the back by the loading docks and ask for "ape man". no-show. i was disappoint 😈
This video feels very overproduced and contrived The stories sound fake and over-the-top and the editing process you're describing seems excessive for what's essentially scripted drama Sorry but I'm not impressed
Not a gaming story, but I once had a kid (16 year old dude) accuse me of being a PDF file (I was 18, still in high school at the time, and am a woman) for him attempting to sexually harass me over Discord. He made it so I had to leave a server where I was a voice actress for someone because he kept saying I did crap I didn't. I got proof of him sexually harassing other girls in the server, he and his friend (who verbally attacked me multiple times) got kicked out. Got told months after about this from the woman who took over my old voice acting role
I was the drama. We weren’t logged in to WoW, but when I tried to unalive myself, I texted my guild leader and she called the cops on me. 12 years ago, I’m still here. She’s the f’n best and I love her so much, all my guild mates were so helpful and supportive, the ones who knew. Gods bless the people who take the time. ❤
I had a situation where I was about to as well. But I stopped myself cause I was next in line for my BIS trinket. Dropped that night. I was in a very dark place. Those people and that drop probably saved my life, as dumb as it sounds I was desperately trying to cling to anything that would give me meaning. Week later I enrolled in a group therapy program that was 7 hrs a day. I'm in a much better place. I'm still depressed but I have a strong will to live
@@robertgibson963 that’s amazing. One of those “if I believed in signs from god, I would accept this one” moments. ❤️🫂 I’m glad you’re still around. It can be rough, but the will to get through it helps.
I'm a War Thunder player. I'm not the one who committed the deed, but I was involved in one discussion chain that ended with someone leaking restricted document.
@@TehKazlehoff The one where an idiot cite a document by taking a picture of a page of a tech manual with his tank, as in use his phone to take the picture of the manual on the console panel INSIDE HIS OWN TANK.
@TehKazlehoff It wasn't as spectacular as some other incidents, like that Challenger 2 guy. What we were talking about was that a certain specification of a certain tank was pretty much open secret already, since the same number was quoted during a military exhibition, but it's impossible to find primary sources to support it. ...then come this guy, whom we assume just have said primary source with him, take a picture of a page inside a manual, then tried to proof its validation by taking the picture of the manual itself on the console of HIS OWN TANK. The mods got to them really quick, though, gotta give them credits for that.
This happened years ago, but it's still one of the most unnerving interactions I've ever had online. Someone friended and then followed me around the game for days. I had people from my clan (one of whom was my dad, RIP) walk around with me because he was so obsessed and weird. We started out as friends, but he just went crazy
My worst online experiences being black is just ever saying I'm black in a COD lobby. But nothing that really took me off the game, just loved the mute features. League of legends arguments can get infuriating but really the game is so crazy that there's probably more than 20 reasons why a certain team lost or won, so the argument never goes anywhere. My creepiest would be some person who I played with once wanted to start gifting me skins for my good champs and then even offered to pay me to coach them. I really told them to not gift me anything but they super insisted. It was creepy asf. The way they talked to was as if they were flirting with me. I stopped playing for a while but when I came back, they showed the same energy. Creepy.
im a white girl and im sorry that you deal with depraved degenerates while online gaming. the racists are the same type of people that degrade us women online. hope you find good people to play games with that will treat you with respect and not cross your boundaries and not be creepy !! 😊 (sorry for my bad grammar, not native english speaker)
Only thing I've had along these lines is honestly kinda tame, but it makes me feel bad for what women must deal with playing online games when it's clear what their gender is (either via voice or otherwise). I was playing an MMO with a female character and left my player-owned housing into an open world instance. I'd been standing in that instance for maybe a couple minutes at most, I'd tabbed out of the game to check something and come back to find somebody sent me a private message to say, and I quote, "you look fuqable". No interaction with this person at all prior to this, my character was just standing there. Again, tame compared to most of this stuff, but it was one of those things where I was just disappointed in people. Like, why do people think that's okay to say to somebody you don't even know? Ugh.
Fyi online games are more stable the closer together the consoles are, so yes its most likely the people youre paired with are nearby you rather than far away
This isn’t always the case. Usually it’s dependent on how close the console is to a dedicated server. What you described is how Peer to Peer works, which is how some older games work
Been through a lot of creepy shit, being a female gamer back in the early -00s, but this was more infuriating since it was people I thought I "knew": I was playing CS on a fairly high level in Scandinavia, waaaaay back when it was still just CS and not CS:GO _(think 2004-2007)_ with a group of Swedish guys _(I'm Swedish too, but a woman, back then I was just a teenage girl)._ We all only knew each other through our gamertags, didn't talk much outside of the game, just wrote to each other. But we played together for years as a team. One day, completely out of the blue, they just kicked me out of the team. I asked why, and they said "Why the fuuuck didn't you tell us you were a girl!?", my answer "Why does it matter?!" I mean, it was not like I had hidden something horrible or done something wrong. I had talked on mic with them in Vent for several YEARS at that point, it's not my fault they didn't catch that I was a girl - or even asked me. Even less my fault that they were immature sexists. I am still a bit irked, because I *know* they only kicked me out because two of them were *incredibly* immature, and I know they whined and whined until the other guys agreed to kick me _(I know because I still talk to one of the guys who didn't want to kick me, but folded when the others brought on a new player who was one of Sweden's top players at the time)._ The two of them were already whiny about me before, but I thought it was just banter and "gamer rage". A bit naive of me, maybe. They couldn't handle that I was so much better than both of them when they knew I was just a teenager _(they were in their 20s)_ and when they somehow, I don't fucking know, "found out" that I was a girl too, that just gave them a "reason" to make a move to kick me out in their minds. Douches. They lost the really, really great player they brought on instead of me pretty quickly, he was headhunted to join one of the more known Swedish teams from back in those days. So in quick succession, they lost two of their best players; me because they were immature insecure idiots, and the other because he was waaay to great for their team. Me and another girl who'd been through something similar started an all-girls team shortly after, mixed Scandinavian nationalities. We kicked my old team's ass in a tournament later on, and I hit one of the immature guys who wanted me off the team with an almost biblical headshot in one game. He was a rage-quitting asshat and smashed his keyboard. Still sailing that high. Haven't played CS since 2010, but now I sorta miss it. Does anyone play, and is it worth it to start grinding CS:GO or should I just hop on CS2? Or is it true that the players are assholes 90% of the time nowadays? Then I think I'll just stay away, I've got no time for fools.
@@suzanne3759 Haven't played since 2010, but once I get into it again and been grinding a bit to get back into my former "level" of play, then I'm pretty skilled. If I haven't lost it all during the years I haven't played, that is. I've been playing a lot of other shit, so I'm not that rusty, just no CS since 2010. Soo, maybe I'll hit you up once I'm back to my old self? ;D And I know several skilled women who used to play, don't know if any of them still play CS though, but I can always ask and we'll get an awesome team together! ;D
@@dadjokesinc.2657 Nice to hear the sexism has died down, it was BAAAAAAD back when I was an active player. General asshats is alright, that's to expect when gaming, but I simply can't stand misogynistic shit from people. I'm too old for that shit! :P
I can finally contribute somebody told me they ware gonna un alive me and took a random guess and git scarily close to ware I actually lived at the time
I forget what game it was but it was some third-person action/shooter game with local directional voice chat (the sound comes from where you are) and I remember finding a player just slowly sliding forward, barely any animation, making tons of glitchy noises that sounds like a 56k modem in a blender. Ontop of this, there are very garbled voice messages in the background that sound a lot like a numbers station or some sort of radio broadcast, complete with an eerie monotone voice counting down from ten but never reaching one before glitching out and starting over. It was so weird even people from the enemy team were stopping just to watch them. They were like that for the entire match and nobody could damage them. After awhile, their slow forward pace finally brought them to a wall and, upon reaching it, they instantly vanished and disconnected.
My parents are OG WoW players and they basically raised one of their younger friends through WoW from when he was like 10. They're still friends today.
I one time saw a player on a roblox game who openly said he was a REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER, and said and did some very vile things in game, i don’t remember it a lot since i was younger when that happened but it was very weird
As a male who almost always plays a female character can confirm most of the time it's for all the free things you get given just because you play as a female
Listening to all the stories of kids running into creeps in games, Im glad that 1) my parents had strict rules about the Internet and games and 2) I've never really been interested in multiplayer games, aside from Bed wars but I've never talked in chat
TL,DR at the bottom. (Copied-And-Pasted from another video from a different channel; also, not really "creepy" per se, but it was still too far): This story is on the...more _tame_ side, I guess...but I'll let y'all be the judge of that. A couple of years ago, someone I know was playing a dressup roleplay game on Roblox called Royale High. We'll call her Saffron to clear up confusion. She was just minding her own business trying to level up and gain more EXP and money when these two girls, who were role-playing as "Mean Girls" (not, not from the movie), approached her. They tried to insult Saffron, but she had comebacks to their insults, which they didn't like. So, what did these 2 mean girls do to retaliate?...They lied to the WHOLE SERVER claiming that Saffron, _who innocently thought they were all _*_only_*_ role-playing,_ called them racist remarks (their characters were black and the girl's character was white) and fat-shamed them in their Private Chats. Side-Note: Saffron is also black, or African-Amarican if you prefer, and on the heavier side IRL; so even if she _did_ truly offend them in that manner - which ofc she *DIDN'T,* she'd only be offending *_herself_* as well. But back to the story... _She._ *_PANICKED._* Saffron tried to explain that she did no such thing and that she was also black and plus-sized irl, but the damage was already done. The thing about the internet is people often lean towards the person who accused FIRST and don't care to listen to the other party's side of the story. People were _going_ *_OFF_* on Saffron, not realizing they were defending liars. She got quite the headache seeing people claim that they were recording her and threatening to "cancel her". Keep in mind, these are the same people who approached _HER_ *FIRST!* And then only decided to tell lies capable of ruining a person's life just because they didn't like the fact that she insulted them back after *_they_* tried to insult her *_FIRST!!!_* Now, y'all might be thinking: "Just leave the server. Don't bother trying to clear your name if they're not willing to listen." Yeah..... _Saffron's a TH-camr._ (I'm not going to say the name of the channel due to privacy, but she's comfortable with sharing this whole story) She was scared of the possibility that people would find her TH-cam channel by looking at her profile page and spread the false allegations of her being a "body-shaming racist". So she eventually gave up, logged off, and changed her username and display name on Roblox. Then she went to her channel and told her followers what happened as a heads-up in case they found anything online regarding her being "racist" and such. The next day, she logged back into Royale High and changed her character's look and identity. In the meantime, she kept looking out for videos on TH-cam for anything that might've tarnished her name. After seeing nothing for a couple of weeks, she felt like it was safe for her to continue with her TH-cam channel, so she got back to work. Though she was extremely depressed about the whole situation, she made rules for herself to never be part of any more roleplays where someone approaches her while trying to be a "mean girl" and stuff like that (Author's Note: Yeah...That wasn't _mean..._ It was just pure *_EVIL_* and I'm *_still mad about it!_* 😡). But.....She did get some petty revenge: _She reported their behinds to Roblox._ lol😆 (I hope they got banned at *_LEAST_* for a day if not longer!😅) If they're reading this, and they still haven't repented, I just want to say: *_JUSTICE. AND. KARMA. WILL. FIND. YOU._* ☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️ *TL,DR:* Basically, some girl on Roblox tried to ruin a girl's reputation and life by spreading false rumors that she was being racist and body-shaming them, which doesn't sound too bad since she could've just left the server, but she's a TH-camr (not saying the name tho) and she was scared people was going to try and cancel her over something she didn't say. Edit: It just dawned on me that I have _(probably) countless_ other stories to tell from my personal experiences, but I'll honestly be here *_FOREVER_* if I were to tell them!😅
I got swatted bcus i killed somebody on a minecraft server using a wooden sword and he had the best sword in the modpack by tricking him into jumping into lava using a good punch.
Being AFAB and having a feminine voice has obviously led to some really pervy and nasty things being said to me during online games. However, I'm instead going to tell you about a moment of levity in the midst of all of this. I had just entered a new lobby after leaving a previous lobby full of such jerks, and was talking to my friends on the open mic and someone said "holy crap, is that a chick I hear?" I'm thinking great, here we go again, so I decided to be a smartass and said "no, I'm a 12-year-old boy from Guatemala." And without missing a beat, one of the strangers pops up and says "well you speak English very well young man." Everyone in the lobby started laughing, and that was that. The match started, and there were no more comments about gender and nothing nasty or pervy. Very refreshing turn of events.
I started playing Among Us a few months after it came out, and the worst thing that happened was this. I joined a lobby, and while we were waiting for more people, one of the players asked if I wanted to date them. I'm straight, and at the time was 21,and knowing there were kids playing, I asked " that depends, what's your gender, and how old are you?" I kid you not he replies with, " I'm 8, and a boy" I replied, "oh, honey, no! I'm 21." This kid then dead freaking serious replied with "no one has to know" my jaw dropped. I finished off with "everyone that is currently in this lobby would know. Honey, be a kid, and stop looking to date someone. Trust me, you've got plenty of time for that" he kept insisting, asking why, so I left the lobby at that point. Kids are bold, man.
I spent 4 years playing with this guy with a guy who I really liked not dating wise but it was to the point to where i couldn’t live without him and for the 4 years I knew him he said he said he was 14 and I was 9 so now I’m 13 and he’s 18 now/ he should so we meet a girl and he liked her and randomly had a tragic backstory and then later said he was actually 15 and I did other research and he’s lying about it all idk if this is really illegal but
The one about the guild that wouldn't let the guy with terminal cancer have any loot because 'he'd be dead soon and won't need it' makes me sick. If I knew someone was dying I'd be the opposite and give them all the help I could to have the best time and achieve whatever they wanted to in the time they have left. I can get the loot and do the stuff I want any time because, as far as I know, I have plenty of time left
one of the biggest wtfs was a guy with a similiar username to mine trying to convince my guildmate/RL partner that they're me, on an alt and to get her to send spicy photos to a phone number thats not mine. Anyone who knows us knows we only play together in person. Dude when caught out, keeps trying to flirt and "steal my girl" to our amusement, offers to fly her out, etc. etc.eventually tells me to get on my main and 1v1 him for her - deadly serious. She was in laughing hysterics at this point and accepted on my behalf despite me not being much of a pvper (no slouch but not my main draw). He mained a poor choice against my class (think cloth vs rogue), thing is, we've met in the battlegrounds multiple times and I've rolfstomped him multiple times, went about as expected - in the end we had to block him, he was alternating spamming trash to me and filth to the mrs.
yeah there are times when people do legitimately get bullied or bossed around to much society can actually be really harsh but all it really takes is one moment or person that cares enough to not wanna see them either die or get hurt and things can turn around.
34:58 As a therian, i have heard of these people. Z00philes are gross, especially when they ask (mostly minors, also) for stuff like "Stretch tutorials." You can imagine what they really want.
I don't play much in online games, so there aren't many bad experiences. The worst online experience I had surprisingly was a quiz game I played when I was 15 or 16. Very often people would ask me how old I was, where I lived and if I was interested etc. Worst part is that I often immediately told them I was 16 and oh, of course they are only 17 and would love to meet me irl. Some even had the audacity to ask me "what are you even doing here when you're not trying to date?" before abandoning the game because I said no. It actually made me a bit sad because the game was quite fun, but those guys completely ruined it.
Also I saved someone from suicide attempts over a few months, met them on a game called Pony Town and made a safe place on Discord for them to be open. That as well as being there helped them heal mentally
Ive been in that same situation when I was on call with someone and they were doing nasty stuff while I was talking with my friend. It was a group discord call with like 4 or 5 of us. They had no shame and would constantly spam the server with disgusting messages and photos. They were locked out of certain channels because of it. I left because they were best friends with the server creator and wouldn’t ban the guy.
The things I've experienced as a (black) female gamer are: 1. Constant unwanted flirting and unsolicited images/messages 2. White dudes seeing my profile picture (they'd be sure to let me know and my pic is a selfie where I am very OBVIOUSLY black), and feeling absolutely COMPELLED to discuss politics, BLM, the Confederate flag, and social issues completely unprompted and unprovoked all while saying passively racist things to me as "compliments". It's like they were trying to convert me or something, anyway 3. Being completely ignored during decision making processes when in a group of dudes, even in cases when THEY INVITED ME TO HELP THEM WITH ACTIVITIES ONLY I WAS KNOWLEGEABLE WITH OR HAD COMPLETED. Like WHY even bring me in as a Sherpa??? 4. Being kicked from a party upon hearing that I am a woman on V.C. 5. Guys that (for whatever reason) cannot fathom that a woman is playing a game with them and assume I am either trans, or a male child. Meanwhile, my profile picture is me in makeup, dressed up, my name is Mistress, my voice is pumped full of premium estrogen. I mean, I couldn't be any more on the nose as a chic short of actually spreading my legs (that is a joke...), but I mean really!! These are just my personal experiences and my descriptions of the dudes I'm talking about are only being said because they are relevant to the harassment I experienced. I am in no way saying such to be rude and I am in no way making this up, I'm literally not good enough. I am also not implying that "game bros = bad". I have played with many stand up guys...it's just unfortunate for me that happened 40% of the time. I have pretty much entirely stopped using LFG, play only with friends, or stick to ladies only gaming groups nowadays (and I've been gaming for almost 2 decades). 🫤
53:0053:46 These stories made me so mad. WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?! How did the Minecraft player know the builder didn't escape the lava trap?? What did they do about their compromised base‽ DID THE DÊAD GUILDMASTER SAY ANYTHING ELSE?! Did OP contact his family to see if they knew anything? WHAT HAPPENED?
The one from Ark is actually a pretty common tactic early game, you start with nothing, and early on you need to get whatever resources you can, however you can. Especially with PvP servers.
I'm quite late to this, but I used to play vrchat quite a lot. I had a friend who I played with that always made sexual comments towards me which I tried to ignore, and turn him down any time he tried to suggest us being more than just friends. I told him it makes me uncomfortable and to stop and he did. Then I ended up getting a boyfriend, and this made him go mental. He made a bunch of accounts along the lines of "(my name) is a bitch" and stuff like that and constantly adding me both on vrchat and discord. I didn't know it was him at the time but he would not stop trying to contact me and curse me for "doing him wrong". At some point I was in a private server with some friends and he managed to somehow join it despite not being on anyone's friends list, so we had no idea how he made it there. I eventually figured it out as some things he said were a clear tells of stuff only he would have known. I ended up confronting him, and he was having none of it. He said he will "talk to the guy that was harassing me and get him to stop". He proceeds to send me screenshots of him talking to himself (as the guy harassing me) and agreeing he will pay him $300 to stop and the guy agrees. So obviously fake, I blocked him everywhere but then he was harassing me AS HIMSELF. Telling me it wasn't him, but he was doing the exact same thing as this stalker, trying to get me to unblock him. I turned off friend requests on discord and stopped logging on to vrchat. He still adds me randomly once a year (that was maybe 5 years ago?) Last I heard of him, he added me telling me he's going to k*ll himself, and thanking me for being his friend. He still maintains that it wasn't him that stalked me, and said there's nothing I can do to make him not unalive himself. I don't know if he's still alive or not, but that dude was 23 and had a baby to take care of. I'm scared for the kid.
As a moderator on Roblox for a few games, ya that harassment stuff happens more often and honestly is sad that Roblox relies on us creators to deal with it.
I think the creepiest thing was when a troll came in my discord for 6 months. All I remember is that I was blamed for it and the once active server died. It wasn't a game. I have trouble getting ppl interested in playing much less rping
Iv been playing online multiplayer games since before I was going to school... literally since before I was 3, somehow, nothing too profound or memorable has happened on its own. A lot of things I remember parts of, people I used to play with, rl friends I only stayed in contact with because we played the same games, etc. I don't want to sound cringe but the people always seem to move on, trying to reconnect with people who you used to play with, being exited theyre online while trying to not "scare them off."
A couple years ago, I was playing Destiny 2 with a couple of friends. We had been playing Trials of Osiris for hours and decided to take a break with some 3v3 Crucible. I had swapped to an all grenade launchers build to try and get the medal that would allow me to make progress towards the Mountaintop grenade launcher, which at the time was still super good. The match plays out, we win, and then the weird stuff starts. One of the guys on the opposing team DMs me having a fit over me using grenade launchers, acting like I was a living legend with them (note that I was at the very bottom of the leaderboard and my K/D ratio was beyond awful. I also play on console, so naturally aiming is significantly more difficult). I tell him to calm down, that it's just a game and you don't need to get so butthurt over it. I can't remember what info he got wrong, I think it was my name, but he proceeds to DM me what he thinks is my name and address. My heart skips a beat and my blood runs cold. I tell my teammates what's going on. Being the master liar that I am, I tell the pissed off guy that the info he has wasn't even close, and manage to get him to calm down enough, and we actually leave off on a relatively positive note iirc. Idk, the messages he sent have since been deleted by some automatic function. Kinda wish I could go back and read them. Overall not as terrifying as some of the encounters other people have had, if this video is anything to go off of.
Had a legendary pokemon stolen from me. Loser posed as one of those "looking to complete pokedex" guys on Discord, i was trying to be a nice guy. The time came when hes supposed to trade my legendary back to me but cut the connection instead. He was banned from the server, but my mon was forever lost. Luckily, years later, they released an event for shiny versions of the legends so i have that now.
Most of my stories aren't that different from any other girl that plays games. Stalking, harassment for daring to be a girl who enjoys the same game etc. I would say the creepiest would be someone in an mmo who decided they wanted to constantly harass me after I rejected their private lewd offers. After I rejected them they constantly would make sure to find me on whatever world i was on, and constantly screech in public chat how i was some dude pretending to be a chick because "Why else wouldn't they want to be with me if they weren't a dude", or trash talk my skill in the game while hunting me down to PK me. Luckily it fell on mostly deaf ears but even after several blocks and bans over months, they kept doing it. It was enough to make me stop playing that game for years. I've gone back since, but under a new account. In general the whole "all girls in games are guys" comments from people in public lobbies of games still make me cringe and think of him. So many wonder why they don't see more girls in games? We're there, we just don't like saying it out loud to people who aren't friends because of people like this.
I used to RP on WoW. I was a sucker for romance and one a priest of mine got into seemed no different. But it was. The other player had an in game stocker! As you can imagine, that was a problem for the stocker who started stocking ME. She was insanely jealous both through her character and out of character. It climated when my priest was trying to propose and the girl kept calling him away for "emergencies". It then hit me that she wasn't just a stocker, he was in an abusive relationship with her and I was tired of it. Me and a friend had a long talk with him about how their relationship wasn't healthy. She was clingy and very toxic and if he kept running back to her, I couldn't RP with him anymore because he was letting her destroy our fun. So I get a big involved story going of my priest discovering his father is alive because I'm a sucker for reunion stories. She crashed the reveal and I had to do the realistic thing of the dad running off. That was the last straw. I told the guy it was her or me because as much as I felt bad for him, I wasn't going to let her ruin my fun anymore. She blew up on me the next day. I broke his heart and all that shit. Gaslighting narcissist! She tried to whisper me so no one would see but I refused to respond unless she had the balls for others to witness her toxic behavior. I had ten pages of screenshots by the end of her calling me so many hateful things OOC including a slut. Reported her and blocked them both. It hurt to leave him in that situation but I'd done all I could at that point.
Be grateful that's all you experienced in ark, that's like someone trying to get you off the server by simply killing you, soon it will be messages and crashing servers and hacking accounts just to get you off
All the people talking about being harassed because they’re a female gamer makes my skin crawl. It happen to me recently - A guy i had gamed with a good few times introduced to another guy, i added him and played a game with him, at first everything was fine but all of a sudden he starts repeatedly saying how hot my voice sounds and what a wonderful wife i’d make etc. I ended the session and went to bed. The next day i went to play the same game, the guy asked to play with me again so i decided to say yes to see what would happen. I wish i hadn’t. After about an hour of gaming together he starts calling me baby girl and telling me to come to him in the same voice you would use to talk to a puppy. I called him out and blocked him only to have him continue to follow me around in game
It’s not necessarily that bad, but one of my friends introduced me to some people he played with. We would often play stuff together, but over time I began to see their real colors. They didn’t care about me or my friend, or any of our other friends. They only ever cared about what they cared about, and only ever wanted to play what they liked. If I had a game I liked and asked them if they would want to play it, they’d grumble about it and just play something else. They also just never treated me with any respect. Often I’d just be ignored if all three of them were there, and when they didn’t ignore me, they wouldn’t really think about anything I said (which often led to complications in the games we played, because I’d be telling them important information). Eventually one day I’d had it and just snapped, and I just piled on them about all the shit that I had put up with and how bad of duress they were. Their response? They laughed at me. I took things a step further, with a few light insults, and they lost their shit. I was sent so many threats and slurs over the course of a week. My friend who introduced me to them didn’t bother asking what had happened, because for me to lash out like that is INCREDIBLY rare, and has only happened that one time. After cutting contact with them I finally felt like I had a say with what to do, and I don’t regret a thing.
Played a lot of text-based rpgs when I was younger and always pretended to be male. 90% of my characters were also male. Only time I was ever discovered was when I was playing a female character and another female player messaged me privately asking very politely if I was. I said yes and asked how she knew and she replied it was because my character was genuinely feminine -- I basically clearly had insider knowledge lol. Amusingly, my gender was never even once questioned by male players, so either I did a really good job of faking being male or they just weren't that observant.
20ish years of gaming and ive had the.. Pleasure? Of running and taking care of guild and discord groups, its always a priority for me to make sure everyone feels welcome in voice chat as thats what i personally find the most fun. Back in the days we would regularky have large groups of guys and girls just having fun playing the game, one day this guy joined the guild and as i was the one taking care of the discord side of the guild all complains and issues went through me. Apparently the guy was sending private messages to the girls asking realy personal and creepy questions. They send me screenshots of the questions yea. So i kicked him from the guild. Dude was messaging around saying he was mentaly ill and dint know any better and now was sad and gona end himself.... I gave him 3 chances before kicking him but he never changed. Maybe you have mental problems but ur words and behaviour are not excuseable and no amount of trying to blackmail me will work.
I wasn't part of it.. but Runescape back in 2006. The newest skill "Construction" came out, which allows a player to build a custom house out of square rooms. The first player to hit 100 had a strange bug that allowed him to PK players outside of the PVP area, and the victims couldn't fight back. Which instead of reporting the bug to devs like a good samaritan... he decided to go on a serial killing spree in the town of Falador. Which became the "Falador Massacre" and the player was OBVIOUSLY BANNED for it.
Story 3 is one of the biggest reasons I don't tell people any of my personal info online especially my gender. I don't want people to talk differently cuz I'm a girl. Or for them to have any idea of where I live besides inside america.
i used to play roblox when i was in my 20s. I have light autism and few other disorders medically diagnosed, so lets just say my mind is kinda stuck in teens age, id say around 14-16, those were actually my happiest years, but thats another story. When i played roblox, i either didnt communicate much with anyone because of my social anxiety, or just trolled players that were rude to me or others. So i guess i was kinda that creep for some players, because i used exploits, not any complicated exploits, mostly btools to remove walls and stuff to get to players that blocked me from their properties and stuff or one hack that made my character stuck to the back of another player, no matter where they went and i used this hack to scare little kids there, saying that this hacks makes me get all their login informations, IP address etc, which usually scared them enough to leave the server lmao.
I have 2. The first one I heard a friend of mine shoot himself in the stomach. The second one I found out a friend that i talked to for years was accused of being a pedophile then a friend of mine sent me something that confirmed it.
Everyone was friends, then an argument, a revolution, alot of doxxing, dosing/ddosing, and then one suicides, then most leave. This happened because of a Minecraft server.
Here's some advice Play online games that DON'T have voice chat, or even better, character limit and/or censorship in the built in chat system... Nothing could POSSIBLY go wrong
RDR2 I was running around doing some mission or another when I came across a high level player griefing a couple of noobs, decided to help the new guys out and began blasting the griefer this dingus turned around and tried to report me for griefing him ended up getting banned for like a month myself but he got banned permanently.
I was playing a game, (I forgot which one,) and someone decide to build a SEIZURE MACHINE. Three people almost died, one person was losing it, nobody was holding back on berating each other.
14:05 sigh ok about the ip address thing is kinda true but no. There are websites that can get your location but... to quote this from one of those websites "Latitude and Longitude are often near the center of population. These values are not precise enough to be used to identify a specific address, individual, or for legal purposes." aka it's useless so don't worry. Alright the next story is another ip one, ok so im pretty sure by the sound of it a trailer park so probably a location that might be far from population or the location the ip gave you pointed directly to it and then the guy walked around the trailer park one by one trying to find the boys, he was asking "you guys 406K?" so yeah... unless you live in a very sparse population you are fine.
I used to play BF2 on the =box= server back in the day, it was my favorite server. Then one day, I inadvertedly said a few words in Finnish to my cousin in the [all]-chat, but rules said English only. One admin complained something and I was like "why is it a big deal?" Permabanned. :(
So, I play roblox, and I’m a bit of a police officer when it comes to scamming/cheating/hacking. I don’t have any good stories yet, but I’ll get some soon lol.
I used to stream very often on twitch when fortnite was popular. I was like 13-14. Got no viewers, which meant no one in chat which i like talking to people so that was sad. Now, even now at 19 I have a huge babyface, like huge, but it was definitely apparent then. I got message In chat just saying hi, I was excited so I said hi. We had a conversation back and forth and eventually they started flirting with me I think. Now I had an Xbox Kinect camera set up to be “official” and I was sitting in a chair in my basement a decent bit away from the camera cause I had like a 70” TV I was playing on. I think they thought I was girl, but what was weirder is that I was very clearly a minor and that didn’t stop them. This continued for the next couple of streams, and then it just stopped. Weirded me out and even then I ignored those flirtatious remarks because I was a 13 year old autistic boy who knew that something was up, but didn’t know what
Same. I'm also wondering why they didn't try to report it. Even if nothing could have been done I would've left the game at least to save myself the trauma.
I think my weirdest experience was getting followed around by some guy in phasmophobia while he screamed how he was going to violate me. I am a girl. This was also one of my first online gaming experiences. Fun!
13:06 i know it was meant in a sexual way, but now I'm thinking of a Reinhardt skin referencing the Big Daddies from Bioshock Honestly that'd be fitting for Reinhardt as he's a tanky defensive class, and Big Daddies are designed to protect the Little Sisters by any means necessary (I think a way to do it would make his armor look rusty and waterlogged, maybe a bit of seaweed stuck to him)
Not creepy more sad. One of my streams last year went too far with some friends burning down another friend's Minecraft base that they worked so hard on for something so petty that was even told it was fine to do beforehand. We had to take the realm back a few hours to when the house was still standing. Was the church? Nope.
That guy who got op's address and sent him pizza, was probably best case scenario. I don't think he wanted op anything bad. But yeah, be careful what you share on the internet, you never know - Becc
Story 29 I have an undertale roblox user and i'm mildly concerned Was playing zombie uprising in a private server (solo, so all the kills were mine, was trying to grind cash) and someone joined my game, a furry in full n*zi gear, and starting saying they'd pay me to wear it (it was all bypassed layering stuff) and i unfriended them and booted them. Still don't know what that was about. Also saw another person with an undertale name spamming "uwu" in chat and they absolutely latched onto me and wouldn't leave me alone in combat warriors, constantly following me. trying to do some 1v1s and this dingus is swinging around a pair of hook swords and kills us both. He tried to friend me and kept private messaging me weird stuff. Roblox is awful bro
Story 18 17:00 I have so many questions which wont be answered. Why was friend sorry? Where did they go, what did they do? Are they still aliver, or was that im sorry guys a way of saying goodbye?
My avatar in Roblox used to be a girl but god so many people tried to flirt with me that i changed to to a male one and i haven’t had a single person flirting with me since
I played the game "state of survival". no idea if it is still around. I haven't paid anything in that game, but my fellow alliance members did. let's just say, they went into 5 and 6 digit territory to fuel their accounts. please don't ask my why, it was insane.
As a female gamer I can confirm the creepy pm’s are real but there’s also a ton of bullying towards female gamers. Usually from older male gamers. Pretty pathetic especially since I don’t play games with mics.
Any sibling or family member/friend who pretends to be a random ass person on the internet and scared you with knowing your info is fucked in the head. That shit is NOT funny. What if there was other people online with them and overheard? You'd be fucked.(especially with so many creeps who like to stalk people.)And i severly doubt theyd like that same shit done to them. That kind of stuff is fucking scary.
i was very young playing work at a pizza place and some girl tried to online date me, even leading me above the restaurant and ask to date me. im very glad i said no, mainly cuz i wanted to make pizza, i can only imagine what would've happened to me if i said yes.
I met 3 streamers on Sea of Thieves one of which wanted to steal a Legend of the Veil Chest of Legends then return it as part of a wheel he spun. He ended up helping me and my crewmate complete the Veil and I ended up finding and watching his stream the rest of the time it was up
I was playing world of tanks on my xbox series x, I killed a guy and the dude was mad pissed. He sent me a voice message calling me shit and told me to legitimately kill myself. The thing is he had a mod to put distortion in his mic when he speaks so i could clearly hear what he was saying but an ai ( like xbox uses to ban people ) can't. Long story short, for 1 whole week every single day that dude sent me voice messages ( at least twice a day ) sending me death threats, telling me to kill myself etc. The guy was never banned and probably is still harassing people. Ah xbox live chats never disappoints 😂
Going on Omegle as a teen wasnt stupid. You just wanted to meet new people. The people who go on Omegle to target kids and teens are the stupid ones
This is legend behavior. You were completely fearless. That's how you mess with people who are trying to scare you.
I'd have said, "That's fine. I dial .357."

I got swatted because I didn’t mute my mic while ordering a pizza. I was playing R6 Seige so it had to be one of my 4 teammates.
this is crazy because surely they've heard worse over an open mic than someone ordering a Pizza, no reason for them to get mad, hope no one got hurt

@@WardenWolf No, the server was run by a minor (I didn't realize until after I started voice acting for this person), so they can't just be banned

I'm a War Thunder player. I'm not the one who committed the deed, but I was involved in one discussion chain that ended with someone leaking restricted document.
Which time, because it's happened more times than can be counted on a single hand.

This is why I don't play these kinds of games where you have to use mics.
I'm glad that there was a nice story that early.
I do milsims but I only use push to talk for reasons XD

Ugh.
I, too, played as a lady for about a year and got some of the creepiest stuff.
Sometimes, I wonder how humans ever made it out of the caves.
Fyi online games are more stable the closer together the consoles are, so yes its most likely the people youre paired with are nearby you rather than far away
This isn’t always the case. Usually it’s dependent on how close the console is to a dedicated server. What you described is how Peer to Peer works, which is how some older games work
Been through a lot of creepy shit, being a female gamer back in the early -00s, but this was more infuriating since it was people I thought I "knew":
I was playing CS on a fairly high level in Scandinavia, waaaaay back when it was still just CS and not CS:GO _(think 2004-2007)_ with a group of Swedish guys _(I'm Swedish too, but a woman, back then I was just a teenage girl)._ We all only knew each other through our gamertags, didn't talk much outside of the game, just wrote to each other.
If you know where to find skilled female CS2 players, please let me know
A plus side of the more modern CS games is people playing it are less sexist by a lot. A downside is that they’re more general asshats

I wanna pull that prank too, but can't throttle anything or even get into a game like that
My parents are OG WoW players and they basically raised one of their younger friends through WoW from when he was like 10. They're still friends today.

(Copied-And-Pasted from another video from a different channel; also, not really "creepy" per se, but it was still too far):
This story is on the...more _tame_ side, I guess...but I'll let y'all be the judge of that.
_She._ *_PANICKED._*
Saffron tried to explain that she did no such thing and that she was also black and plus-sized irl, but the damage was already done.
Keep in mind, these are the same people who approached _HER_ *FIRST!* And then only decided to tell lies capable of ruining a person's life just because they didn't like the fact that she insulted them back after *_they_* tried to insult her *_FIRST!!!_*
Now, y'all might be thinking: "Just leave the server. Don't bother trying to clear your name if they're not willing to listen."
Yeah..... _Saffron's a TH-camr._
(I'm not going to say the name of the channel due to privacy, but she's comfortable with sharing this whole story)
She was scared of the possibility that people would find her TH-cam channel by looking at her profile page and spread the false allegations of her being a "body-shaming racist".
But.....She did get some petty revenge: _She reported their behinds to Roblox._ lol😆 (I hope they got banned at *_LEAST_* for a day if not longer!😅)
If they're reading this, and they still haven't repented, I just want to say:
*_JUSTICE. AND. KARMA. WILL. FIND. YOU._*
☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️
*TL,DR:* Basically, some girl on Roblox tried to ruin a girl's reputation and life by spreading false rumors that she was being racist and body-shaming them, which doesn't sound too bad since she could've just left the server, but she's a TH-camr (not saying the name tho) and she was scared people was going to try and cancel her over something she didn't say.
Edit: It just dawned on me that I have _(probably) countless_ other stories to tell from my personal experiences, but I'll honestly be here *_FOREVER_* if I were to tell them!😅

My favorite narrator! He’s got such a kind voice and worldview.
That's the most massified kid of all the cultures by philosophical means holy shit...

Colossus: _"All it takes is 2 or 3 moments..."_
34:58 As a therian, i have heard of these people. Z00philes are gross, especially when they ask (mostly minors, also) for stuff like "Stretch tutorials." You can imagine what they really want.
"We're still friends to this day-" you are a stronger man than i
I don't play much in online games, so there aren't many bad experiences.
The trick is to tell them you're 86. 😂
@@NarwahlGaming Got it. Next time someone asks me for my age online, I tell them I'm 110.
11:59 that voice was so funny!!! It’s taking me out 😭 💀
Also I saved someone from suicide attempts over a few months, met them on a game called Pony Town and made a safe place on Discord for them to be open. That as well as being there helped them heal mentally
you guys really work hard at these videos. pls don’t ever die
The things I've experienced as a (black) female gamer are:
1. Constant unwanted flirting and unsolicited images/messages
2. It's like they were trying to convert me or something, anyway
There is so much r/thathappened in this video lol
To be honest, I call my friend when they get on. We usually talk about it off Xbox, and we're both OK with it.
53:00 53:46 These stories made me so mad.
I had a Reddit stalker find me playing Red Dead Redemption 2 Online. Shoved her puritanical views on me. I've taken steps to evade them since.
Story 21: Good on you for shutting down the creep but also good to see Neverwinter being represented in one of these vids. ❤
9:58 you say that while playing a game. and A GUY
Everyone was friends, then an argument, a revolution, alot of doxxing, dosing/ddosing, and then one suicides, then most leave.
This happened because of a Minecraft server.
Story 52 sounds so terrifying yet so awesome in a way
Here's some advice
Play online games that DON'T have voice chat, or even better, character limit and/or censorship in the built in chat system...
I have no words. HOW.
One admin complained something and I was like "why is it a big deal?"
Permabanned.
:(
man that first one is incredible
So, I play roblox, and I’m a bit of a police officer when it comes to scamming/cheating/hacking. I don’t have any good stories yet, but I’ll get some soon lol.
WoW is a great game, and some people on it are awful
Weirded me out and even then I ignored those flirtatious remarks because I was a 13 year old autistic boy who knew that something was up, but didn’t know what
wow... story 24 is haunting me. i think it would mess me up to hear someone legit getting raepd
Fun!
13:06 i know it was meant in a sexual way, but now I'm thinking of a Reinhardt skin referencing the Big Daddies from Bioshock
Honestly that'd be fitting for Reinhardt as he's a tanky defensive class, and Big Daddies are designed to protect the Little Sisters by any means necessary
(I think a way to do it would make his armor look rusty and waterlogged, maybe a bit of seaweed stuck to him)
Not creepy more sad.
But yeah, be careful what you share on the internet, you never know

Story 29
I have an undertale roblox user and i'm mildly concerned
Was playing zombie uprising in a private server (solo, so all the kills were mine, was trying to grind cash) and someone joined my game, a furry in full n*zi gear, and starting saying they'd pay me to wear it (it was all bypassed layering stuff) and i unfriended them and booted them.
Story 18 17:00
I have so many questions which wont be answered. Why was friend sorry? Where did they go, what did they do? Are they still aliver, or was that im sorry guys a way of saying goodbye?
17:45 ohh don't worry, that's just your average Rust experience👍
That first story is amazing ❤
That last one was... i csnt even put it into words really
My favorite narrator.Yipeee!
Had a dude gather everyone he had made friends with and say goodbye before shooting himself.
Hearing a gamer girl is a rare occasion but not enough to act insane like what
Oh man the early 2000s was a wild time to reveal yourself as a girl in the online gaming scene.
Lol "12 inch mega..." Actually funny 😂
Story 38. Boots and The Ginger play WOT. Allegedly.
