Lovely demonstration! So basically 1- take off 2 proceed inbound toward the site while remaining clear of the bravo 3 request ff and clearance through the bravo 4 fly the skyline route Decend below the bravo for statue spin 5 back home! Beautiful. I’m leaving my hometown of nyc and going to Georgia and pursuing aviation full time, I will be doing this flight in a week or two before I leave my home. Lovely video, fly safe buddy!
That’s an awesome route. I do the South Beach, government cut , downtown Miami , key biscayne route and it never gets old. Especially now having my own bird.
On the production side, you continue to up the quality of your videos every time. The mulitple camera angles, new camera equipment and voice overs coupled with a massive edit are so appreciated! More importantly what you shared with your brother and his fiance cannot be understated. The three of you are young and, God willing, will live thousands and thousands more days. Most details of most of those days will be forgotten...but not this day! Every moment of this day will forever be remembered by all of you for all the right reasons. It simply gets no better than that..... Thank you for all you do.
Absolutely love your content Bruno! My first flight in my Grumman was also my first time taking a passenger up without a CFI and it was my dad. He thought we were going to my school in KPVD so when I blew past providence for Quonset, he was confused. As we walked towards the hangars he asked who's plane we were gonna fly. I had to hold back the excitement and I know he did too when I told him it was mine. I'd flown over my hometown and the Cape/islands so much at that point but getting to share that special moment with the man that made me who I am from the airport that started my passion for aviation as a kid is something I'll never forget. I'm looking forward to finishing this deployment so I can take my parents up the Hudson corridor.
Can't want to fly the SFRA myself. I remember anxiously waiting the day I could fly my kids. I'm sure you can relate, but it was a very special moment. Absolutely right that aviation is best when shared. I remember the first time my then 11 year old daughter did a departure by herself (with me hands off but inches away). Special moments.
Thanks for watching and for your comment, John! Glad you were able to have a similar experience with your daughter. Special and unforgettable moments indeed :) Blue skies!
This is inspiring! I'm just in the process of buying an aircraft down here in Australia. I can't wait to share my passion with others. Keep the great content coming.
Very impressive to get an understanding of what it’s like clearing into the bravo to do skyline flyovers. I’m a private pilot in Detroit, and I’m yet to request a clearance to fly near the city skyline. I feel like my biggest challenge is not understanding how to request that type of approach. I’m newly licensed
Hey Ali! Thanks for watching buddy. I know the feeling, as I've been there before. I'd say all it takes is for you to do it once, and from there you'll keep perfecting it. Controllers are usually very accommodating and will work with you, you just need to know how to help them help you (meaning: know the procedures and ask for something that won't make their life harder). Fly safe!
Bruno this is an amazing video! I appreciate it! I am a newly graduated ppl and watched the video to do this exact route and Learn how to talk to ATC to get approved for the same transitions.. it was super helpful! Is there a time you recommend when I'll get better chances of being approved for this route than others ? Keep the videos coming !
It does just like the other gentleman said your videos are appropriate I just purchased an cessna 172 and trying to very into the videos on my channel. Are you IFR certified if so what Avionics you have
a very nice video and cleared ATC instruction! just a quick question, why initial contact is the tower instead of approach, thought the whole process should be with NY or EWR approach
Thanks Toney! The Skyline Route is inside the Class B of both KEWR and KLGA, and both have specific Tower frequencies to control planes flying that route. Even if you talk to Approach, they'll hand you over to TWR for proper clearance. Hope this helps!
@@FlyWithBruno thanks for replying, also every time when they switch you between each tower, does last tower also relay your intention to the new tower? or you have to tell new tower what you want every time they switch you?

Exactly! It's not too complicated, but a bit intimidating at first. Super easy in reality!
THIS is why we fly. Bruno, it's impossible for your passion to not spill over into us. Love your work.
Amen, brother! Thanks so much for the kind words man, it makes it all worth the effort to put out this kind of content. Fly safe!
Controller was like : “you’re unfamiliar with the brooklyn bridge” 😂😂😂 nyc atc is the best
I love NY ATC! Ain't nobody like them! Hahaha. 10:55 He was like: (quietly) "The Brooklyn Bridge? (you must be kidding me!)"
@@NealHill0 the funny thing is I didn't notice until I was editing this LOL
I laughed out loud while walking my dog lol

Thanks Yamil! Flying that route in FL is on my bucket list, and I hope to do it next year! Have fun with your new plane & blue skies!

Great edit !! Bravo.
Just wondering … are footages out of multiple day of shooting ?
Thanks man! And yes, I combined footage from two different days doing the exact same route :)

Thank you so much, Marcelo! Sorry for being late to this.
Hi bruno how do you get your gopro to turn like that it is cool are there a particular gopro?
Hey buddy! It's the GoPro Max, which is a 360 camera. You get to make it "rotate" when editing, as you pick the angles you want :) Hope this helps!

Just curious - what was the airspeed circling the Statue?
I keep it around 90-100 KIAS max, so I can be on the lookout for traffic while passengers have a nice view of the statue :)
Incrível!
Obrigado amigo!
