They should've taken the ROTF Leader Class Optimus skeleton and just remold the vehicle mode with the updated truck because that would've still made a better figure than this.
Piccolo agreed, i'd love to see extensive retools/remords of figures with ROTF levels of complexity. That would make for an actually impressive movie toyline again.

This is NOT what we were shown at Toy Fair, this is just someone at Hasbro saying "Hey guys, I had the BEST idea to make some money while doing almost nothing! It's the same thing we did with the first batch of Bumblebee repaints we had in wave 1, but since it's a leader class we get even MORE of what we all would kill for most... MONEY!". Sadly, I've become sort of a completionist, so by law I have to get it, or my punishment will be never being able to hate on this crap IN PERSON.

So do you get these toys to review for free and return it to the supplier or do you pay money for them knowing you are gonna hate it? I'm just curious how that works. But I understand where you come from with some of these molds. They just suck sometimes.
I think that both molds are good; the Leader-Class because it looks more like a robot and the Voyager-Classs because it's more movie accurate. But neither came with accurate weapons.
I like the blue color of Optimus Prime and the sword look very cool but still same mode as transformers 4 Optimus Prime figure leader class Optimus Prime need more change that is why Megatron is much better than Optimus Prime toy figure in leader class , will I just get mind blow from his sword .
Chronos012 I kinda disagree. Most Titans Return figures feel super solid and my TLK Megatron is solid as a rock. Then again, my Deluxe TLK Barricade felt like a KO in terms of plastic and QC.

Thought it was the worst representation of prime in forever and I didn't even have anything to compare it to, then a week or so later, found the voyager. Got him way overpriced at almost 40 bucks since it wasn't exactly at retail where I found him. Turns out, he's cool, but he feels small and just not fun to do anything with him, he looks more accurate but bland. Leader one looks nothing like the movie but as a toy, he's just better and looks awesome when you start posing him, he's just so much more dynamic. Voyager one looks so stiff. In my opinion both are good in their own way but none of them are "great".
Luckily Unique Toys and Alien Attack are having their own takes on a masterpiece style AOE/TLK style optimus. And from what I've seen from the images so far, they blow both the leader and Voyager out of the water.
TRANSFORMERS 5 THE LAST KNIGHT PRO to be fair, they made a brand new mold for Revenge of the Fallen, and his design didn't change between the first 2 movies.

I also have ordered Calibur Optimus Prime and with luck, it should be arriving early this week. The AoE Leader OP mold piqued my interest but the backpack kibble as well as inaccurate sword and shield accessories kept me away from purchasing that mold in any iteration during the AoE production run. However, Calibur OP's solution to the backpack kibble issue, better paint apps, as well as the more on-model Temenos Sword and Vector Shield, convinced me to pony up money for the toy. The Caliber Axe, Overshield, and Energon Sword are extra cherries on the top.
Like I said no need show articulation on figure all figures in leader deluxe voyage and legend class all move same way in different series movie, generations robots in disguise articulation is all same deluxe class movie to Titan class
I have one of these, it's my only version of this design. I was expecting to hate it but it's not that bad. The bad pack is terrible, they could at least of added the ability to remove it. I don't like the bit sitting down surrounded by truck type of thing that's going on but I do like the way the lower legs transform, they are simple but neat. It's ok but that's as far as I would go.
I actually got the leader for like half the price of the voyager one, it's so much more toy, so I like him too, I don't think the voyager one is all that great to be honest. Leader is underrated and voyager is overrated. Calibur is probably the definitive version

They managed to make this figure more boring somehow. The only thing they did better was getting rid of that god awful yellow the AOE one had.
At NY Toy Fair 2017, this version of Prime was show with silver and grey paint applications.

I have a tlk barricade and his feet are pin joints and there really loose any way I can fix them
If you can remove the pins (gently) you can layer the plastic with glue, floor polish or clear nail polish.
Ray's Reviews layer the pin or the plastic you have no idea how much this helps me!!!!!!!! 😃
