- As the GOP presidential ticket continues to spread false claims about immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, Republican Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida tells "Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan" says "the cats and dogs thing has gotten way more coverage than the real world impacts" of immigration.

I can't believe Markco Rubio has issues with the Haitian immigrants legally living in Springfield, Ohio. His(Markco Rubio) state has major Cubans immigrants, migrating there for years, and there are no issues with that.

The dog & cats thing started years ago , after the Vietnam War. When hundreds or thousands of the S Vietnamese came to S California, it's known the dog pounds ( called back then) thinned out. Wondering if Brennan is aware of the habit she has of saying “yes” or “right” when her guest is making a point. For example: when Rubio re “the dogs and cats thing” says it shouldn’t be a distraction from the fact thousands of people are moving into small towns like Springfield, Brennan interjects with a “yes.” One isn’t sure if it’s because she agrees with his assertion as a fact or premise, or that her response is simply a tic on her part. What if she could just listen in silence to people like Rubio speak without seeming to endorse their faulty logic?
