@BrightEyedLemmings this also applies to ANY floating territory buildings, warband got hit for multiple for slight floating fences/gates. It is an "exploit", waiting for more water base hits.
Man, this is the best-looking base I've seen BY FAR! 👏 When you dived in and some areas were partially submerged, plus that pyramid with your office, my jaw dropped. 😯
After moving base to water: If you need more height, enter fly mode, fly to top, look down. Move base on top of current base, wiggle until green, then optionally try to increase height. This will trick the system into thinking you're placing on higher terrain, allowing you to bypass the error height (red outline). If too high to access (usually is), craft teleport door, make an entrance platform separate from main structure.
You can save structures slots on 3:37 by using small walls only on left and right and 2 square walls on the back! 2 extra structures that u can use somewhere else!!!
"Not enough space for your crates? Just build a 3 big tiles structure to contain 8 crates! You'll need more free space around to be able to access those crates." Duuuuude :)
You can also build on flat open to start, adjust elevation when placing in water, then adjust as you build and expand to be able to adjust when needed. Helps when getting placement errors or base consistently under terrain.

You can construct foundations quite deep, but it can sometimes be a bit glitchy 😃
