You played the game perfectly, absolute disregard for all driving regulations! Pro tip, never load a trailer before coupling it. In the real world, the stand may collapse. Having operated every piece of equipment in the real world (except monster truck), I assure you the game oversimplifies all of the activity. Operating a car hauler is a physically demanding job for one. Between climbing about the trailer and chaining the cargo, it's easy to get hurt.
I can answer the thumbnail: Console release. Other things I wish the devs would ad to the game: - Online, sounds from other players vehicles. - Manual gearbox. - More settings, dont know why there isn't camera sensitivity. - More penalties for players blocking the road. - Report system. - Actual crossplay that works on and off. I've had the setting off and I still see PC and PS players.
Well, in ETS you drive a big truck. Here you have a delivery van so I'd say GTA driving is the closest to RL delivery van drivers behavior. Got to imitate reality!
The only thing i say its missing are rest stops. I can ignore the bugs and glitches because i know with time theyll get sorted out. The most annoying thing is the game swaps back to automatic transmission every time you start a mission and my right hand mirrior i have to reopen quite aswell.
if this game will support creating our own custom map this can be better than ETS/ATS ... a lot of potential to this game.. gonna buy thisnand support the dev. Looking forward to this game to explode to driving sim community ❤️❤️❤️
Just found your channel and you cost me £25! Thanks! 😂 I have been on the fence about this game for a while. I was waiting for ETS to get a console import.
At first I felt similar, but after playing for a bit, farm sim felt like it hard a lot more depth, and the vehicle controls gave a very different feel. ETS and ATS seem like a much closer match.
Don't think its a threat to ETS2/ATS because just look how long those titles have been going compared to this one and SCS have a hefty roadmap for 2024 so imo ETS and ATS will just keep developing further. That along with a good selection of mods make ETS2 still a solid winner in this sector (Truck simming). No offence to the devs of this title and from what i have seen you have done well. I think if you are to compete with ets and ats then you would need some solid photorealism and mechanics and a 1:1 map :P
This is a great sim game. There is a new dev interview that was just released talking about some of the big changes that are coming in the next update.
Might be because you're on keyboard but the cars look very arcady and toy'ish... Which isn't necessarily a bad thing but for a game with "simulator" in name i'd expect something better... But again maybe it's just keyboard instant inputs making it feel that way.
I've played the game on release (on console) with a friend who's on PC. He has alot more settings I wish consoles had. Such as camera sensitivity, manual gearbox, quality options and more.
Idk. Very fist mission I tried was one where no trailers are needed. Paid 7k, 5-minute drive. The cost of the van itself. It was enough to uninstall, zero challenge
this game will never be like ets2 ets2 will blow smokes off this game the map is small in this look at the map on ets2 when u use g923 on this game it sucks works great on ets2
got potantial but its waaaaay too noob friendly imo. my opinion on sims is they should be in depth and require skill to be good at something else its not a simulator, its an arcade game if you get me. just my opinion, ill probs keep an eye on this but currently to me, graphics look like a mobile game, tolerances that make the game boring etc
i mean like look at farming sim, graphics arent the best yeah but its really in depth while still being arcadey enough to be noob friendly, i just think this game is too friendly. i not after somethign as complicated as DCS just a good balance
@IAmSkyrider I don't disagree perse...but if we look at the big boy in this specific genre, then that part doesn't seem to matter for the majority of players...
@@bballjo Mouse steering, where you move the mouse left / right to turn the vehicle left/right. I normally use a head tracker (tobii 5) for looking around. I hate using A/D keys for turning as it's very jerky. tap tap tap tap etc.
I thought you meant that, but don't think I've ever seen it in action...that said I'd assume that there probably is some setting for this, or it would be added at some point, as ets is a main competitor for this game.
@@bballjo Thanks, though you did say the max distance is like 10km so not long distance like ETS2. I found the mouse steering in ETS one of the best, wish more games had it. I'll check out the games forums.

Lets just accept the fact that ETS2 is the best trucking game there is.
It is but this isn't a bad game, great for console
Yeah and some of its mechanics should be in ets
American Truck SIM is way better than ETS2 .
SCS has 20 years of experience in making trucking games. Seems only normal
@@maciejxxx4059it's literally the same dude. Maybe some minor difference
Man drives like it’s gta 😭 I thought it was a game with street rules and stuff. I want it to be realistic
In this case, there is only one game, ATS or ETS2. I tried almost every Open world driving simulation games and finally stuck with ATS.

Yes, yes you were!

Pretty cool, but to be honest I'm more interested in a truck and logistics manager type game where I manage the drivers.
Never thought I would be watching Snape play a transport simulator on TH-cam, but here we are lol. Definitely subscribing for the voice 👍

This could be the future truck sim and transport sim! I love this already 😍
Looks good. Quite similar to Farm Sim 22, but I like the collision damage model, that farm sim is sadly missing.
At first I felt similar, but after playing for a bit, farm sim felt like it hard a lot more depth, and the vehicle controls gave a very different feel. ETS and ATS seem like a much closer match.
It's sad this small game has features that farm sim doesn't have. Like the ground deformations.
Screw damage physics. Having suspenssion as stiff as a board in FS22 is bs.
@@MattiAntsuK No winder why it feels like something is missing. No way.

Excellent choice with the klezmer music!
I can confirm that this title works well on the Steam Deck.

Scania g440 v8 yes👍
Unloading would be a great future update
It's been 3 years so probably not...
The rear axle of that rigid truck in the begginning looked really wierd,´. Makes me question wether they know what theyre doing or not...

As someone who drives those types of car hauler trailers....the game will never make legal height with all of them facing forward lol.
Transport sim? Yes
Anything to do with ETS2/ATS?
Not really. Stop comparing
Map is 28 square km, and you can go full off-road
I'm looking forward to downloading this game on my xbox one
When you repair your car it doesn’t cost anything
Nice
This is upgraded version of monster Truck madnesss.
SSAO IS A MUST
finally a decent graphic engine
Interesting game glad I bought it for ps5
Remember. Ets2 already decades old with huge community
ETS 2 HAS SOMETHING,THIS GAME DOESN'T!
Is it possible to drive with any racing wheel like logitech g29?
Yes
Thank you so much for your video, bballjo! :)
Tint them windows so people don’t see you pick your nose lol 😂
Tried this, ita very simple game adding 1 feature ets doesnt have while dont have most of the feature ets have 🤣
As a german I really felt it when he said "WEINROT" (3:05)
Das war der plan :)
I’m looking into this on Xbox but seems like the steering is twitchy. Is there a way to make it less noticeable
Hilarious. I would love to play this
The game was developed by Simula hence the license plate SI MU 14
T&L SIM best on console
i think it's oversimplified, i would like to see animation in gas station, mechanic, ecc
FLT parked with raised load, oh dear!
The graphics make this game no where close to ATS or ETS
Does it go with vr and steering and shifter ?
I highly doubt it does VR
No VR but Steering Wheels and H-Shifters are supported :) Also for PC TrackIR is supported.
Are there immigrant knife gangs to deal with?
this is literaly motor tow but with betther graphics
Will the map get bigger ?
So it's just like any generic "simulator" tries to do everything while excelling at nothing.
