Z1, as of 21:02, you haven't grabbed the Plastic Box from the Storage Area and tossed it in the Plastics Shredder Machine. That would give you more Plastics, if towards a Plastics Contract...
You can also push harder on your bargaining, to pay less for the raw materials and earn more on Contracts. Once you can shred the Wood, you could probably sell a chunk of it for quick funds (keep some for future contracts)...

That initial sorting does seem like a compounding headache nightmare.
@12:20 Just Z suggesting turning a casual game into a horror game.
In my experience, you can get about 20% more for contracts and pay 20% less for scrap deals without them balking. I've occasionally got 25%, but most of the time they didn't accept it and made me take less than a 20% discount because I bargained poorly.
Buying Scrap deals I go in $30 under asking and buying contracts I start at $100 over - on the Demo it worked every time, with the prologue maybe 70% of the time.
Sorting it yourself can get you more scrap for free with a Combo. Like many of these types of games you can get more by doing it yourself.
In addition if you miss the trash it accumulates at the bottom of the screen, it does NOT fall off the belt, so you can take your time.
Definitely agree with the homeless or undesirable person encounter risk! As you said, it wouldn't want to be too regular an occurrence. You could also run into urban explorers or ghost hunters, so you'd have to quickly decide if you were at risk or not, and react appropriately.

man this game looks like it could be fun . If they add some more stuff to do with your money outside of production like buying cars and homes and stuff, then it could have a lot of play time value.

not sure why you diddent do everything you could have done. last time i played this, i had a huge problem to compleat a contrack. it was never enugh resorces. so tip frome me. do as manny jobs you can. and dont emty the truck. just go frome job to job and use the night to emty the truck and stort out the trash
