Intriguing and clever is a bit of an understatement. It truly belies its size, in terms of what it has to offer - you're never going to feel short changed with a Galeon or feel you're missing out on a super clever feature just because you bought a smaller model. Love them and love the fact you get to bring them all on the channel.

There are so many clever and smart uses of space from innovative design on both boats and motor homes, I am amazed that more of them aren't high street ready for those living in a more compromised space.
This could be one of my favorite boats. They accomplish so much in that boat but because of its size you could get in to places a larger boat would have troubles with. Fantastic tour, as usual Nick!
When I saw the thumbnail of this boat, I thought to myself, “Oh what a small boat.”. Man, was I wrong. This is an absolutely stunning boat, to say the least. Those fold out sides are brilliant. Nick, I really am starting to understand your love for watercraft now after watching many of your videos. It is your own personal boat, “Smugglers Blues II”, where I really started to appreciate it. Your personal boat looks “small” at first sight, but once onboard, it turns into a VERY nice vessel for numerous people. I would have never guessed that your boat would have had all of the room below that it does. I live in Texas (Houston area) and everyone that I know who has a boat only use them a few times monthly. So now, it is starting to make sense of the old joke about the “best two days of boat ownership”. If you only use them periodically from time-to-time, then it is really a big expense and upkeep for something seldomly used. However, if you use them “properly”, like you do, then that old joke is meaningless. I get it now. You’re making me want to sell my homes and go buy a boat and live on it now. Great video, Sir! When the video is listed as a 47ft’ vessel, but has a 21 minute runtime you know you’re getting a bunch of nifty Galeon tricks to highlight. Excellent tour and boat.
These really are one of my favorites. From amenities, to size... it is absolutely perfect for a couple with occasional friends (and I do mean 'occasional')! Beautiful boat. I especially like the wood on the saloon floor and the white panels on the lower deck doors. One of the many things which make your videos so entertaining is watching the pure enjoyment you get with the boats as you proceed on your tours.
Great to see one of this model with a few years on it still in great shape and working as intended. I think that "sky deck" is a concept others should adopt in lieu of a traditional fly bridge. This is a great boat.
As I've said before: it's easy to build big, but it takes skill to build small. This is the IKEA of motor yachts! Love all that it can do! In excellent shape for a 5-year old boat too! This is the most advanced little superyacht on the market by my eyes. Headspace below from the seating arrangement above is one of two dozen examples. Incredible. Never mind the practicality of protecting all the flybridge upholstery, I would say that makes a flybridge boat into a sedan to look at. Love Galeon boats for their "transformer" style
Someone set a nautical time machine to 2018, landing at the Galeon order desk where every option on an order form for a "470 Sky" was ticked. It was delivered to a nitrogen filled storage container where it sat, sealed up, undisturbed, until last week. Inspected, launched and made available for showing. And the price is soooo sweet. Great find Nick. And give a "way to go" to the time machine operator.
Yay - So much going on, yet Nick remembered the Wave! The one feature I love on these boats is that powered Flybridge cover system. I'm not sure if it's unique to Galeon, but it's such a major selling point, I could buy such a boat on the strength of this Flybridge alone!
Truly loving this tour, expected the price to be a million and half or so. The skylights REALLY enhance the light, in the forward cabin and helm, brilliant. For Galeon, if they're reading, not a fan of the toilet in the shower space. Not sure 'how' you could address this, but as the day head, it's a problem. The second point is all that space on the helm, could we have a second multi function display. Fantastic though, love it. ❤
Those Galeons are so cool. Btw I think most people wouldn't bother putting in the balcony "fences" when at anchor, easy to jump in the water and no hassle removing them when folding the balcony up.
@@dtutssel Of course and it's a boatshow so obviously all features are installed. I know I'd keep the balconies unfenced most of the time if I'd be the lucky owner of one of these

You like the wheel logo to be upright….I get excited when you call the basin in the bathroom, it’s not a sink! That’s in the kitchen…..funny what bothers me I guess….thanks for the entertainment 😊
This is a seriously lovely yacht, and such a reasonable price! I think that if I work really hard this next year, put in a real concerted effort, take on extra work etc., I may even be able to buy a train ticket to the next boat show and see one in person!!! 🤣
Always look forward to your Galeon tours even though I've watched so many I pretty much know what's coming. I'm guessing this is or the 460 are the first in the fly range with full standing room in the master cabin? The Sky version must be a great option for UK boaters where a full flydeck might not used so much.
The "fly bridge" cover system is still one of the coolest things I've seen fitted to a boat.
I really like how there are lots of spots that people could spread out on and make the boat feel much larger than 47 feet.

I've never seen a Galeon that was disappointing. Cleverly designed and almost always the luxury levels of a much bigger boat.
