I played the original version a ton in the ‘80s. Including many a time with Glenn Rahman. Always had a great time. There is a sister game that TSR never picked up, Empire of the Scarlet Witch King. I playtested that a lot with Glenn back in the day-made DR even better. 7:55 I have heard that is going to go on a crowd funding campaign with Pongo. The two games combine into a single game if you desire, but are both stand alone as well. This new version has much higher quality components but still retains the charm of the original.
Some will refer to it as "old school" in a critical way, but as one of the people this was made for, i promise you that's what they wanted. My only criticism is the lack of an index to map locations , which can be hard to locate. I am a little disappointed that more of the massive amount of lore was not included, but a lot of that was printed in Dragon, so the rights would have been challenging.

I fondly remember playing the original, many times.
Nothing wrong with a needy cat.
I have two sitting on me right now.
Cool unboxing, Gary. I really like the retro look of the game.
My local gaming group played this at our local game store, full table. I was relegated to watch. It was FANTASTIC.

Appreciate your time!
Been tempted by their spot. I am on a super long buying freeze... Again thanks for the video. Maybe I can get this for myself for Christmas
We played DR many times in the early 1980s - great game!
Painters tape will keep the lid in place. You don't need to go overboard, a little piece on 2 sides will do ya.
Pretty kitty. All I have is a needy dog who can't get on the table thankfully
I still have my original TSR copy tucked away. I’ll have to bring it back to the bookshelf.

The production is absolutely better than the last reprint, which is now bound to plummet significantly on the secondary market.
You keep talking about Divine. The cat thought you were talking about her.
