Today we Tour Oak Cliff, The Bishop Arts District and West Dallas

Today we tour the old oak cliff part of Dallas. This area is an ever evolving part of town. Once where the rich and doctors lived 100 years ago to becoming a largely African American community in the 70's, 80's, and 90's to become a largely Hispanic community in the late 90's and 00's to being gintrefied in recent years.
This is the very area clyde Barrow grew up and the famous Texas theater where Lee Harvey Oswald was apprehended

My Grandmother lived there in the late fifties until 1971 across the street from Judge Richburgs court in Oak Cliff.

Dude, you missed a big landmark. No Bronco Bowl? If you grew up in Dallas and especially Oak Cliff in the 60's and 70's, Bronco Bowl was where you were if you weren't in school or staying home. Otherwise, this is a great video. I'm not living in Dallas anymore. But I still get hungry when I think of Charco Broiler on Jefferson St.
