I'd love a drone so that id be able to film Sydney for my Grandma. She lives in Hong Kong and she has always wanted to come visit me in Sydney. When she was younger, we couldn't really afford the plane ticket.. and now she is too old to fly. It's her 90th in July, and I really want to "show her around" where i grew up. I will use drone footages to create a "Trip to Sydney" video as part of her 90th bday pressie!!!

SInce i lost my job i started my own business as a Travel agent, if i had a drone i could take video of the properties i visit and help grow my business. SELF-EXPRESSION is the reason why I am doing videography, not to impress people with my work. I am a girl and that is my passion. I don't consider myself a professional; not just yet. I believe that I'll get there someday. I am really fond of aerial shots but that's hard to do considering I only have my gopro and my iphone. I don't find this as an excuse not to pursue my passion. If you put your mind and heart into what you love, you will get what you the scenes in your mind with the constant practice and experiment. Yo Casey! I'd really love the Phantom 4! The primary reason is pretty obvious - to make movies of course! I am in the process of making a short film with some buddies also on TH-cam, however, we don't actually have a functional drone to get aerial video! It would be amazing if I had the opportunity to receive the Phantom 4, you won't be disappointed with the film results!!

Hey Casey! My name is Chris. I've been living in Russia for the past 7 years and recently I've decided to move back to the States, to Florida to be exact. The channel I'm writing this comment from represents a new project that I'm starting as a way to reconnect with my 3 younger brothers when I get back. We are going to be making videos pretty regularly and I've been considering purchasing a drone, just most of the drones I've found have one of two problems: either the camera quality isn't very good or they are out of my price range. I've watched most of your videos and can say that the quality produced by the DJI Phantom 4 is excellent and the fact that you're giving 3 of them away solves the price problem.
2 reasons why you should pick me as the recipient of one of your Phantom 4 drones: 1) The drone will be used to film videos about my family, my reunion with my brothers after 7 years of living in Russia, and adventures and travels that we are planning to have together over the next year, firstly in Florida and then all around the United States. Our video project is going to give us a common goal to work towards, producing better videos, higher quality videos, and more frequent videos. 2) On my way back to Florida from Russia, I'm going to be flying through / stopping through New York, so you don't even have to wrap it, I can just swing by and grab it. Anyways, it would only be right to shake hands with the person who is giving you a free DJI Phantom 4 drone and helping you reunite your family and get them goal-oriented.
I really hope to get the drone, but if I don't, I'll keep watching. Take care!

hi Casey! my name is Dallas and I am an organizer with the Indigenous Environmental Network. We work with and support frontline Indigenous communities across North America fighting against environmental injustices. From Tars Sands extraction to Lead contamination, pipeline fights to coal mines. We help Gulf Coast citizens and Arctic Alaska Villages raise awareness of sea level rise and oil development. We led the fight against Keystone XL. We help Native communities organize marches, protests, and direct actions.
A major major part of our work is to document and create visual narratives to help those on the ground fighting against extractive corporations. --- This drone would help immensely in that effort.
For example, there was an oil pipeline spill that JUST happened in South Dakota and local citizens wanted to document the site but were not allowed to take photos on foot. A drone would have been amazing to have in this case.

Making Movies (Short Story)
Making movies has been a hobby for me since I was in grade school. I didn't expect it to be. I just had this passion to express myself through these moving pictures. No one ever taught me. I learned everything I know by myself. As time passed, my movies have been improving every time I make one. Today I'm a college student who has a gaming channel but my speciality is making movies like documentaries and vlogs and I enjoy creating them more (But I keep them in private). The reason why I don't stop is that I still have the first video I made and every time I compare it to a movie I make now, I realize how far I've gotten. I have this really cheesy goal I picked up from my high school. I picked it up not just so I would share the goals of my school but also give the movies I make a "Why". The goal is that I want to teach minds, touch hearts and change lives with my movies someday. I know somewhere out there are others like me and If there is one unique thing I know about myself, it's that I feel in touch in the world when making movies. I love what I do.

Hi, Casey! I found about your videos few months ago and your work ethic has made a huge impact on my everyday life. Me and my best friend are making non-profit educational videos about kids physical education, nutrition and health in Latvia. We are also helping kids with physical disadvantages to enjoy physical activities. We can't afford these kinds of equipment, but a drone would be huge improvement to our creative aspect of movie making.

I have just recently been watching TH-cam video's. It took me a while to find Casey Niestat. He is the king of TH-cam and what a great story teller.Between him and Sawyer Hartman's Drone shots I am mesmerized.I have never flown a drone, I have never held a drone but I sure would like to have one and try my hand at drone photography.

I've been shooting a short film with my brother and frankly I don't REALLY need a drone, because me and him managed to find way to write around the scenes in need of areal shots. Having a drone however, would help us do those scenes in the original script and enrich the movie generally. That's all.

I feel that as technology improves people will find more and more unique and creative ways to use drones. I would LOVE to get my drone flying in my neighborhood and make epic montages for my channel. I also feel as technology improves and becomes more accessible people will be using drones for many creative things. It would be super cool to help start the new age of using drones not only to get cool camera angles, but helping people by delivering supplies, and helping the world become more eco- friendly by not using car but drone to deliver things. I’ve watched this episode a couple times, including when it first dropped. Every time since the first I forget what’s in the big box and get kinda excited before I remember this is the episode with the three drones and then I’m disappointed in myself for forgetting again

Just in order to expand my abilities to share experience and in order to show my dear audience the beauty of Canadian landscapes and nature in general, I want to take a part in this competition. But still, practice and hardworking can help us to make better videos then NationalGeographic. Seriously we can! At least I would try :)

What better to use an object that can have several uses? I think that diversification is the thing.
First, I would love to use that drone to associate two forms of art ( I love art and i think that associate different forms of it will create a different art) : I like to create lot of types of music from everywhere and i think that using a drone to film beautiful landscape in concordance with my music is the best way to let my music sound different. Music plus video creates beauty.
Secondly, I love to travel. I would like to film with that drones landscapes, cities, monuments (best-known or unknown) all around the world in a new perspective to make people look different. Drones videos can tell stories about sites that photography can’t.
And finally, I want to film stories about my travels all around the world, during my business studies at school. I want to share a different lifestyle, just with passion.

I have finally decided I need to start following the path to accomplish what I wish to accomplish. Reach the place I have always wanted to reach. I have always loved making videos and film-making in general, but I have finally decided it's time to really give it all I got and make it a reality. Even thought this was over a year ago, i feel like your the type of guy to keep this going in some shape or form. I would use this drone as a learning experience of creating my own movies. I've always had an interest, but never a starting point. I believe this would give me a starting point in being a creator.

Alright, chances here are slim to none... So here goes nothing. Casey, I have bought just about every camera that you use in the vlog. Of course, inspired from you. I bought a Canon 70D, Go Pro, I bought my very first point and shoot, the Canon G7X, I even bought an iPhone 6s plus for the 4k on the go image stabilization.. Unfortunately, my budget allows me to get the Canon 5D Mark iii and obviously a drone. I am a 19 year old want to be film maker/actor, so my budget is you know.... not good. I feel like there are so many opportunities with the drone, and even just the ideas I have always had in mind, I feel like I could really represent my stories even more with it!

I know my account is called Cloud Vapers and that is because me and my friend were going to start recording videos until he recently passed away. I was devastated and would love for this drone to hold a remembrance on Earth. I'm a huge fan of the solar system and love how science works and evolves around humans.
