Wow, have been on here so infrequently I didn't even realize this was having a mini viral blowup. I mean 50k views in 30 days when it had that much the past year combined... I think that's like the common cold on the virus scale... so nothing to sneeze at.... actually, wait, in that case it would be something to sneeze at... That said, it isn't pewdiepie levels of virality, but not everyone can be a celebrity and be used to that performance lol. That said, I figure this is a good space to make a PSA and put these views to productive use, namely to talk about depression, more specifically gradual onset depression as opposed to depression caused by a traumatic event. If i had to put what it feels like to be depressed into visualization, I doubt I could do much better than the reception room sinking sequence at 3:29. It feels like you're slowly sinking, lower and lower in the water as the lights flicker and die, slow enough for you to perceive every moment of what's going on and suffer through it, but too fast and relentless to be able to easily do something to beat it. Oh sure you can fight and man the pumps, and that will slow it down, and you might even win for awhile, but it's an ordeal, and you can take time to ask for help (eg shooting up distressed rockets) but that's time you take away from manning the pumps, so if the help doesn't materialize (eg, if your so called friends are the californian in disguise, something that happened to me a lot), you come back to a situation much worse than when you left it, and since the help route didn't materialize, all you can do it start pumping again in a desperate attempt to stay afloat, but with less energy from the ordeal of trying to ask for help and getting snubbed. Point is, depression is serious, it's exhausting, and in some cases it is most certainly fatal, so if you are depressed or know someone who is depressed, take it seriously for goodness sake. Don't downplay it, don't insult the depressed, just don't. And even if you don't know anyone who you know for sure is depressed, reach out to your friends and loved ones and show you care from time to time anyway. I was more vocal about my depression, but some aren't. Maybe they see it as being weak to admit they're sinking, maybe they are too exhausted from pumping to reach out, or the situation is too dire for them to risk potentially being snubbed and having their ship go down completely... maybe they have been snubbed before and don't see the point of reaching out again because no one else cared before so why would it be different now? Whatever the reason, just because they don't show it doesn't mean they aren't depressed, and by reaching out and showing you care, you might just be the rescue ship they desperately need in their silent struggle

squares4u actually more like 2 and 2/3 hours... still not an incredibly long time for a ten story ship though, at that rate each deck should have taken about 16 minutes to go down... though obviously the actual sinking time was more earlier and less later on as more openings went below the sea surface and let the water in faster. I do agree though that some of these appear to be sped up for the video’s sake though, like the e deck landing or the scotland road bits, from eyeballing it at that rate of sinking that deck wouldn’t have taken more than about 5 minutes, if even that long, to flood completely, meaning that extrapolated out the ship would have had at most like a half hour before water was on the boat deck, and 5 minutes after that it was gone... which is about 30-35 minutes, way less than the 75 minutes or so that it had left when this clip played in the real time sinking
they were actually on f deck and almost directly below the e deck landing of the grand staircase. not sure if there was another spa located where you said or not though
it was coming in too fast, they could slow down the rate of sinkage but at the end of the day it was still doom for the ship as there was a net influx of water
@@mylifewithautism3958 There was a documentary that mentioned that after the Titanic hit the ice berg they started the engines again and apparently the forward thrust actually forced even more water into the ships compartments, one must wonder what might have happened if the engineers had not done that and if shed stay afloat longer

A lot of that flooding seems rather too rapid to me. But I guess you guys know best.
It really was that rapid. A lot of Titanic’s decks flooded in 15-20 minutes. Remember she only took 2 hours to sink.
squares4u actually more like 2 and 2/3 hours... still not an incredibly long time for a ten story ship though, at that rate each deck should have taken about 16 minutes to go down... though obviously the actual sinking time was more earlier and less later on as more openings went below the sea surface and let the water in faster.
I do agree though that some of these appear to be sped up for the video’s sake though, like the e deck landing or the scotland road bits, from eyeballing it at that rate of sinking that deck wouldn’t have taken more than about 5 minutes, if even that long, to flood completely, meaning that extrapolated out the ship would have had at most like a half hour before water was on the boat deck, and 5 minutes after that it was gone... which is about 30-35 minutes, way less than the 75 minutes or so that it had left when this clip played in the real time sinking
looks like someone put a lot of salt in that water
fr lol
Imagine what a good game this could be if it was free roam
Hackney Station i think it actually will be once the finished product is done
Wait, weren't the Turkish baths on the top part of the back of the ship?
they were actually on f deck and almost directly below the e deck landing of the grand staircase. not sure if there was another spa located where you said or not though
It is a pretty in depth simulation.
Nice and creepy
Who left the tap on🙄🚢
Omg why I have to visit here..it seems so real
1:33 that would have been so crazy to see that
So the RMS Titanic became the worlds largest Sub for a short while?
So how come Titanics pumps could not keep the water down?
it was coming in too fast, they could slow down the rate of sinkage but at the end of the day it was still doom for the ship as there was a net influx of water
@@mylifewithautism3958 There was a documentary that mentioned that after the Titanic hit the ice berg they started the engines again and apparently the forward thrust actually forced even more water into the ships compartments, one must wonder what might have happened if the engineers had not done that and if shed stay afloat longer
@@Bullet-Tooth-Tony- that and getting pumping immediately would have helped... still not sure it would have been enough to last until the carpathia came though, would have needed to lower the sinking time by over 50% from 2 hours 40 mins to in excess of 4 hours
This whole game is creepy... Starship Titanic, anyone?
@#Raimundo Reis Guedes Rio de Janeiro RJ o naufrágio do Titanic versão 3d ficou legal mostrando a trajetória do navio até seu naufrágio em 1912 incrível 👍
Upps! Da hat jemand den Wasserhahn offen gelassen! :)
but when comes the demo on the internal sinking
can't be sure, not part of the design team, they do monthly updates on the titanic honor and glory yt channel though so i'd advise checking that out, i believe they cover the status the game is in
From what they have said demo 3 is the last one they plan to release. They created an internal one with character interactions but that is only for potential investors.
Way worser than any haunted house could ever be.
is this sinking a game?
Is the flooding real time?
OH MY PC 🔥🔥
The water is so clear . I want to swim 🏊♀️😅
Would the water be that clean though, it is the ocean. I imagine tons of fish have pooped in that water. It should be black, shouldn't it?
according to survivor testimony, that isn’t the case.
@@DerpyPossum interesting
@@corey2justified1 they all specifically recalled slightly clear, green-ish water.
They should’ve emptied the swimming pool....
