2016: accurate (for the time); the reason I started following THG and what inspired me to write a novel on Titanic (cancelled). 2020: the worst one; sure, the lighting was the only accurate thing… but Titanic’s stern section didn’t founder like Britannic!! At one point, I actually thought it was gonna flip over like Poseidon! 2023: *P E R F E C T I O N* ; just give it a darker lighting and turn it into a film or limited series adaptation of On A Sea Of Glass for theaters and/or tv+ and I’d watch it in a heartbeat!
I think an updated ANTR would be beautiful, following a lot of the og film, but with updated facts and events, like the ship going down with the H&G sinking animation.
@@Fishycheese99speaking of which, I was thinking of what if a made a Britannic movie where I make the sinking be based off of Honor and Glory’s Britannic sinking animation
Honestly, there are still many things to improve from the 2023 animation. The timings of the lifeboats' launch and of the ship's sinking are inaccurate and don't line up with survivor testimony. The water also needs to be more reflective (more like the 2016 animation).
Their newest real time sinking is the most accurate on yet with getting the littlest of details right like the first funnel falling to starboard not port
@@William_James_Official We don't know what did this but it could have been a number of reasons like the rapid flooding in boiler 3 and also a bulkhead probably failing causing the bow to rise slightly. Also, check the survivor accounts that say that the funnel fell to the starboard like 2nd light roller he was on collapsible b and he had mentioned that the funnel missed by nearly inches now collapsible b was on the starboard side and was pushed there by the funnel.
I dont like the 2020 version because the port list fails to dissapear making the stern do a brittanic sinking But the lighting is accurate so ill give it that
I prefer the first and last versions. Of the first one (2016) I find very convincing the noise of the ship during the sinking, i.e., the rumbling sound followed by two sharp explosions just before the breaking up, a fact witnessed by many survivors. I also really like the way the stern sinks, that is, not quite perpendicular but almost capsizing, just as witnessed by some. The 2023 version is spot on about how the ship broke apart and the emergency lights that were left on.

I actually like all versions I think what would be cool to see the whole sinking progress !!!INSIDE!!! the titanic from the moment titanic hits the iceberg until the time the power goes out that would be cool.
Idk how about the others, but I prefer much more the 2021 version rather the newest one, even though they've included some real cool shots in there. 2021 version is way better created and much more terryfying.
Sure, atmospherically it's cool, but it's also incredibly inaccurate -- Titanic didn't sink at that low of an angle. Regardless of whatever simulations you run that might suggest that, it goes against pretty much every single survivor's testimony.
Almost every time the make a "remastered" version of the sinking they fix there stupid rushed sinking physics and there is also some error in the sinking physics in there new renditions.
2023 the best
Combine 2020's lighting on the ship and 2023's updated animation and we got the perfect sinking simulation.
Yep, whith u man
I prefer the 2023 lighting. The only difference between them is that the 2020 one is weirdly desaturated for some reason
That’s what they did for 2024

How the f@#$ it can fall to starboard side because titanic is listing to port

also the center prop having 3 blades
Wow 2023 version, I felt like I was watching a movie at one point. How those survivors went on with their lives with that trauma I dont know.
One survivor was able to recover by returning to work.
2023 Honor and Glory simulation is more accurate alongside with “On a Sea of Glass.”
I guess the 2023 is the best version...

I hope they will do the same thing for lusitania, empress of ireland and the ss atlantic but with npc
