Yes, you can definitely use dried leaves. Dried leaves have the advantaage of having the cells broken down so that the benefits are more easily extracted When I use fresh I put them in the freezer first to break down the cells.
I froze them in the freezer. I would estimate a minimum of about 30 minutes to freeze the leaves in teh freezer for fresh leaves before you use. The freezing braks down the cell structure helpin got release the leaf nutrients.

Sure, I froze them to quickly break down their cellular structure so that the nutrients would be more readily available when drinking as a tea. I have, and you could also dry them, which does the same thing, just not as fast. Thanks for watching!
What if i boil the fresh leaves right away no need to refrigerate, does it have the same effect? We have lot's of guava trees in our place and and amuse to it:s health benefit's. Thank you for sharing🇵🇭😊.
First I want to know, what is it used for? Is it for weight loss? When is the right time to take it and for how long and what's the right quantity of guava leaf to use and the quantity of water to add? I watched similar video in another channel but there the fresh guava leaf was boiled for some time before getting the tea. In another video too, it was said that the fresh guava leaf is to be blended fresh and the juice squeezed out and taken fresh like that. I think am a bit worried because I don't know the implications of the three approaches. Any clarification?
I drink it intermittantly just to add a different herbal tea to the mix. I don't use it for any specific effect. I like to boil the water, then pour it over the leaves and let it sit for around 10 minutes, but Im not exact as to what amount of leaves to put in or for how long to let it sit. I would say i use about a half ounce of leaf per cup but I'm sure you could use less. I have access to a good amount so I use a good amount. WeMD lists potenttial benefits of guava leaf tea as being antimicrobial, lowering blood sugar, and diarrhea treatment. There are other benefits listed on the web but I am not sure how these were tested. Thanks for your questions and good luck in your search.
Constipation can occur if consume to much. Now it will assist with diarrhea. Overall its good for appetite suppression, diabetes, blood pressure its a good tea to have in intervals along with other teas. Just keep in mind you will havev to consume a lot to become contipated. Mango leaves and Spanish Lime Tree leave are good for tea as well.
@@hotdog9320 I put my leaves in the freezer which has a similar effect as drying. You can dry a few different ways; by leaving them outside for a few days, you can place them in an oven with very low heat but you need to make sure not to burn them, or you can use a dehydrator if you have one.

I've never eaten them or heard about anyone eating them.

Best boiled in pots and non metallic surfaces.
