Nathan Yoshioka they are able most of the time (if the DM isn’t to the left of them or directly in front of them). Mellos and baritones also can’t see the drum major when they are in front of them. Trumpets have it easy 😂
QuinPorpoise that’s true I play trumpet and I never take my eyes off the drum major once i tried marching with a mello and I just stopped like as soon as I started I was like how do you do this it’s not heavy but it’s hard to look around
@@manuelrivera6632 so did they do the simpler version for the run than do the new one on finals night, unless this is a much older performance that was uploaded just barely
@@bengreene8795 yeah. I'm not by any means saying their bad though, since they all put so much effort into perfecting their shows, bit I liked bloo better
@@justindesens2 Cause that's a way to finger D right cause on sousaphones we had a low brass feature and we had 16th and 8th notes so it was easier to move through fingerings
he really imitated the door opening, lol I realize it sounds like a minecraft villager

bro omg tuba hand don't u know
Damn I thought your horn looked good
It always came to my mind as a percussionist on how you tf you’re able to see the drum major while playing contra

King Milo same
Hey buddy
What syllables do you use for double tounging and triple tounging
Kyle Shum use taka for double tounging (or duga) and takata for triple
Will Temp that’s so smart omg but would that work on high brass like trumpet or mello?
V GNOMES actually it works better for high brass. The articulation becomes easier as the instrument becomes smaller. Taka and takata should work fine.
Will Temp thank you I was trying to learn how to double and triple tongue for the longest
At Bloo, we do whatever is comfortable. I did double tonguing for the triple tonguing feature
What type of shoulder pads are they using
I think this is mr santos he was our student teacher
Ye
Wait hol up how come the feature at 5:32 went back to the old one?
The video is before they add the new part
@@manuelrivera6632 so did they do the simpler version for the run than do the new one on finals night, unless this is a much older performance that was uploaded just barely
Justin Johnson This headcam video was taken a while before the new stuff was added in. Old headcam video, old music, recently released

10,000 subs with no videos yeah they’re the blue devils haha. But bloo was still really really good😤✊
Why are some of the guard members wearing their uniforms?
really late but my guess is too get used to the uniforms by the time they actually have to perform

damn...tuba battle u down lmaooo

😢
Do bloo tubas have four valves now?
No
They use Yamaha's which only have 3
Lots of corps use 3rd valve instead of 1+2 for fingerings
