Very well done, great overview of the race! It would have been cool to include footage of Cougar Rock, the iconic rock scramble. Congrats to Shellie and Rashid for such an incredible accomplishment!
I agree. That was my first every endurance horse race and I didn't know what to expect. If either of them race again or someone else wants a video capturing the experience I will get shots out on the trails and at more checkpoints.
Shellie & Bob, Great video and watching it tonight as I recover from my July 23rd injury while training my horse for Tevis 2019 and here it is November 2019, in just a few days I hope the Doctor tells me I can finally get on a horse and ride. 2020 I will be earning my 23rd buckle and your super video production has me just as inspired as I was for my very first ride in 1973. Let me give a special thanks to you and Bob. See you both on the trail soon I hope.
Great video. Congratulations Shellie. On a side note I got my first Tevis buckle in 2014 through the Legacy Buckle program and my buckle was donated by Mr. Bob Spoor! Only 9 more until my 1000 Mile buckle.
Back in the day when they delivered mail by horse the postman generally average 10 to 12 mi per horse. And hear you guys are doing a 100 mi in 24 hours
It has been a long time since I edited this and I don't remember the names/artists of the songs. I got them off epidemic sound. You have to have a subscription at the time of your video upload or you will get a copyright notification.
Hi, I would like to to work as a professional endurance rider (20 years of horse riding experience). I'm looking for adresses / contacts around the world. Can anyone help me? Thank you :-)

Thanks 😊 It was my first time out there and if I ever get a chance to film them again there would be a lot more footage on the trail.
Yea! Congratulations! I will live vicariously through you as I no longer ride. How special for you too.
It would have been nice to see more of the horses - on the trail, at the checkpoints, etc. Thanks for posting!

That’s absolutely incredible!!! I hope I can at least try to attempt this ride. You guys are beautiful!
I volunteered with the tevis cup a few times it was a lot of fun
Did you finish ?
@@leanneadams2549volunteering isn’t the same as attempting. Volunteering is helping riders, crew, vets, and spectators. Attempting is actually riding

10-12 miles is easy
Excuse me, if I attend the race, I am allowed to ride my horse, or I have to ride a horse provided by the organization of the race?
VietFiddle you ride your own horse
Thank you.
VietFiddle, if you want to ride this event you can find a way. I have helped many.
@@potatorichardson6931 Thank you. I will contact you when I am ready.
is she using some type of inflatable vest under her hydration pack? I can't tell. Dying to know.
No. Not inflatable. Just a regular vest to keep warm
My mom was a endurance rider with her horse cheese but sadly she died from cancer 😪
