I used to live in Alton, IL, and I can absolutely confirm the friendliness of the people. We had actual real-live neighbors when we lived there, and had quite a few neighborhood parties. Good memories for us, and happy my old town gave you all good memories too.

I know you guys were worried about doing an extended series like this, thinking we would all get bored, but I have been absolutely loving it! Frankly, when you are having one big adventure after another in each episode it can be a bit too much. I like the continium, the progression of a story, a series like this provides. It also provides that element of anticipation, as we all await to see how it all turns out.

The ladies showering in the car wash is such a demonstration of accepting your situation! All of them showering without thinking about "how it looks" and just making do to get clean and relax.

And the van has limited water supply. Probably it was inspired at the moment for mass cleaning of all the sweaty and dirty bodies.

With their biking and driving days, cooking, and editing, they dont have the additional free time. But thats just a guess on my part.

Can’t wait for the finale. During my travels across states, I just want to get somewhere and rarely stop at more than 1 or 2 attractions. I love how y’all meet so many interesting people and do so many things along the way. I’m finally learning that life is about the moments. the college campus you rode through in Bloomington was almost where I went to college!! it was my plan for a while but I met my now husband at 16 and went to a local (kentucky) college instead 😊 I would’ve loved that campus clearly by the few visuals I got, but i’m glad life led me to where I am now!
I rode by the kids on the unicycles at RAGBRAI but I never saw them going up or down hills (I only saw them on the flats). Some of those hills were monstrously steep and I can't figure out how they were able to descend or climb them. The climb out of Colfax was incredibly steep and if they actually rode up it then kudos to them! I'm hoping they have some videos on their channel showing the technique.
I can't imagine it's never been discussed between Kara and Nate, but maybe they just don't want to. I've always thought they deserve a show on the Travel Channel or Nat Geo. They would absolutely kill it!!

Kara and Nate l have never commented on your videos until now. I just want to say thank you for taking us on your adventures. You see I became sick in 2021 from COVID. I unfortunately lost my right leg. After being in a coma for two weeks I woke up with my life changed forever . I loved hiking and swimming just being able to walk with my granddaughter. I just wish I could get up and hold her hand and walk down the sidewalk. This is all I wish for, realizing this would never happen again was the biggest thing that made me cry . I couldn't share this with my grandbaby anymore.However my life is so different and I know I can't. I thank you because I feel that I am on these adventures with you. I miss being able to just go into our backyard. Thank you both for giving me hope. Especially when at one time I had none. I wish you guys the best of luck and thank you for taking me on this amazing adventure with you.
This episode is so good. But question, who is the person filming while the girls are taking showers at the car wash. Twice you can see what looks like a man behind, standing at the edge of the bay, holding a bigger camera, filming. Just curious who this person is, since we only ever see the 8 of you.
When Nate was driving by himself and talking I had the most beautiful picture of a baby cooing in a car seat behind him and then Kara having a baby girl in a hiking backpack! Maybe it's just me but Nate would be a great dad and I know Kara would raise such a HAPPY little camper ❤
As an Indiana University alum, I thought it was so cool the girls biked through campus! Not sure if you both are aware but every year in April there is a huge biking race on campus called the Little 500! There’s even a movie about it, Breaking Away! I think it’s so cool you guys biked through a college campus that has such a deep connection to biking.

I thought I wouldn't like this serie as much as the other videos since I'm not really into biking. Turns out, its the serie I followed the most on youtube and I loooove watching every video as soon as they are live 🥰

A future video idea…. You guys could really have some fun biking the rails to trails bike routes scattered across the country and showing us how beautiful they are. Take along fun people like your current crew and that unicycle family. These bike adventures a few times a year are magical and so much fun to watch!! P.S. I loved the happy honking town you went through in Illinois! 🎉😊
Can’t wait for the finale. During my travels across states, I just want to get somewhere and rarely stop at more than 1 or 2 attractions. I love how y’all meet so many interesting people and do so many things along the way. I’m finally learning that life is about the moments. Whether that is family, friends, activities or places that take your breath away!

the college campus you rode through in Bloomington was almost where I went to college!! it was my plan for a while but I met my now husband at 16 and went to a local (kentucky) college instead 😊 I would’ve loved that campus clearly by the few visuals I got, but i’m glad life led me to where I am now!

I rode by the kids on the unicycles at RAGBRAI but I never saw them going up or down hills (I only saw them on the flats). Some of those hills were monstrously steep and I can't figure out how they were able to descend or climb them. The climb out of Colfax was incredibly steep and if they actually rode up it then kudos to them! I'm hoping they have some videos on their channel showing the technique.
It's incredibly warming to vicariously meet all new friends and faces throughout their journey across America :')

I love the clear display of the difference between the east and west of the USA.... out west people like to pretend to be nice, but they're really not... out east, people might seem abrasive, but they're actually super genuine and caring people.

Kara and Nate l have never commented on your videos until now. I just want to say thank you for taking us on your adventures. You see I became sick in 2021 from COVID. I unfortunately lost my right leg. After being in a coma for two weeks I woke up with my life changed forever . I loved hiking and swimming just being able to walk with my granddaughter. I just wish I could get up and hold her hand and walk down the sidewalk. This is all I wish for, realizing this would never happen again was the biggest thing that made me cry . I couldn't share this with my grandbaby anymore.However my life is so different and I know I can't. I thank you because I feel that I am on these adventures with you. I miss being able to just go into our backyard. Thank you both for giving me hope. Especially when at one time I had none. I wish you guys the best of luck and thank you for taking me on this amazing adventure with you.

This episode is so good. But question, who is the person filming while the girls are taking showers at the car wash. Twice you can see what looks like a man behind, standing at the edge of the bay, holding a bigger camera, filming. Just curious who this person is, since we only ever see the 8 of you.
When Nate was driving by himself and talking I had the most beautiful picture of a baby cooing in a car seat behind him and then Kara having a baby girl in a hiking backpack! Maybe it's just me but Nate would be a great dad and I know Kara would raise such a HAPPY little camper ❤
As an Indiana University alum, I thought it was so cool the girls biked through campus! Not sure if you both are aware but every year in April there is a huge biking race on campus called the Little 500! There’s even a movie about it, Breaking Away! I think it’s so cool you guys biked through a college campus that has such a deep connection to biking.
