I'm a detailer, and I work at a Express car Wash, let me tell you I feel bad whoever has to do maintenance on that track, cleaning out the trench is not fun lol! Whoever has worked at a car wash knows what I'm talking about lol
Buc-ee's is like a tourist attraction! 🤩 I wish Costco has that many gas pumps. 😂 It was fun to see the car wash and you scrapping off the remaining bugs from the fender with a push broom. 😆Thank you for sharing this fun and unique experience at the world's longest car wash, AK! 🤗
What cool blue washcloths, thoroughly clean the car like hair!!! 🤗 And we have self-service car washes basically, people wash themselves with a strong jet, the water flows down the trays and back into the sink and it can be washed again - a waste-free water cycle!
We drove from Nashville to New Orleans 2 weeks after Katrina and we were astounded at how many bugs kept hitting the windshield! It was our first trip to the South and wow kudzu kudzu kudzu! PS our dog Squinkie loves the car wash!🐾🚖🧽
I wish going through the car wash was as fun now as it was when I was a kid. Actually the first time I went through it scared the crap out of me 😂 Now it’s just loud and costly.
I have ceramic coating on my car and was instructed to use touchless car wash. They claim the brushes put micro scratches and swirls on the surface. I told salesman, I wish you never put it on. Very hard to find a touchless car wash. He said all regular car washes are bad for all cars, with or without coatings. Since I’m not in car shows, I say pooey 😂 So for now I wash it myself, but it’s brutal 😊
@@michaelchin3550 Good to know because I’m getting to old to clean an SUV on the regular. Have to check with my local car washes . Hope they are using chamois. Thanks for letting me know 😊
@@ActionKid You must be going to cheap car washes like the free one at the Toyota dealership in Miami. LOL. Most automatic car washes where I live are high tech and are excellent at cleaning the car without putting scratches on the paint.
I have a ceramic coating too and washed it by hand for a while but don't have the time anymore and just take it through the car wash. They key is finding a good newer carwash that uses the foam brushes and maintains their equipment and the chances of getting scratches is very low, in other words stay away from those cheap gas station car washes. I have probably gone through close to 20 times and the ceramic coating is as good as the day I got it applies and besides some very minor swirls on the lower parts of the vehicle near the rocker panels there are no other scratches. I think the reason for this is because the lower areas of a car right behind the wheels are the dirtiest and the brushes are designed to scrub these areas the most and it can cause some very lights marks but it is hardly noticeable and since it is not a show car and just my daily driver it does not even bother me.
Cost? I pass by this place several times a year. Never stopped though. I've been to Bucees many times. But I've never been to the world's longest car wash!!!
Definitely a nice car wash although I feel the 255' was unnecessary of them other than breaking a world record. At the end of wash with how far past the building and dryers the conveyor extends out, that's not typical of a normal car wash and I can't think of a practical reason for this other than the world record factor. and this isn't a common practice to my knowledge. Think that's why Buc-ee's hasn't done this at their more recent car washes while keeping the same equipment layout. It makes sense for the volume of vehicles they wash to have bug prep be self serve and away from the lanes and loading area as prepping would take too much time and reduce the volume this wash could handle ($$$). A load and send type wash. Although I feel the Bug Prep was an after thought and can be confusing for customers who aren't familiar with prepping their own vehicles prior to washing. They should have signs (step 1, 2, 3, etc.) instructing customers how to use this for best results. The good thing about this is the time it takes from using the bug prep to paying for a wash to being loaded and sent gives the bug chemical enough idle time to do it's job and makes it easier for the equipment to get the junk off.
I'm still trying to understand how Jon Be Barr passed AK in subs. AK had a huge lead and content is kinda set for a broader audience and not just NY, which I think is better. AK is more of my type for great content.

Wow! I watched the before the wash, wash in process and after the wash and this wash did an incredible job! 10/10!
Seriously, that was the most fun I've had all day. I love your videos Ken. I am a car wash nerd.
Thank you so much! It was nice to see all these cars get clean, including mine!
No need 🍄 with such a trippy car wash
As a native Texan and avid Bucees fan, I am so glad this video happened.
I was happy to make this video

That's awesome!
That’s a great car wash ActionKid👌🚘
I wish Green Bay Wisconsin had a Buck-ee's.
Always love a good car wash!
I think this was the most interesting and fun video you have ever showcased. LOL.
Carwash ASMR!
Nice Camry. Get one with a 3.5 V6 before they are gone for 2025. Such a gem of an engine.
I think you're supposed to use the bug chemical before going through the wash
That's correct
Indeed ! 😉
That could work too, but then you wouldn't know how many bug stains the wash will remove in the first place

The five minute scratch and swirl, and double whammy at the end
Disney World meets Sea World, but for cars, in Texas.

Yup, there are so many bug stains from driving so long!
I love Buc ee's
That’s was fun! Reminiscing on my old car going to the car wash. 🚗🚙
Very cool
It's not just the biggest Car Wash in the World, also the World 's biggest Gaz Station! Buckey' s in Texas 😄👍
You should see the bugs that get stuck onto my sunglasses and teeth when I go cycling. I have to stop smiling so much! LOL.

Car washes can be quite startling
Haha good content right here! Felt like I was in the car. Very satisfying! Until I looked at my car!! Lol
You'll need to get it washed now!
I’ve never seen so long car wash ,that’s impressive 😎Thank you for sharing this A K 🙂👍!!!
Much appreciated, it's a great car wash
thank you, hope you visit other buc-ees car washes!
Wow , cool video 😊
Very difficult removing bugs off the car when they are inbedded into you car when going 75-80 miles per hour. Very impressive car wash.
That's very true, the bug stains can get stuck on there
Awesome video!😊

The brushes they use now are like a chamois type of material. I have own 3 cars with ceramic coating and never had any problems.

Automatic car washes can damage the car paint for sure, but it takes a lot of time to wash a car manually.

That was fun do you know that my Uncle invented that car wash system that they use today .I grew up we had car washes .
What is ur uncle's name?
Please tell us you went inside Buc-ee's and made a video that you're still editing. That store is WILD!!!
I paid $25.99 for a car wash yesterday lol ... not even close to as good as this one.
@@alibhg3063 True but I'm lazy lol
I wish they were all built to that length .
AK you should have used bug cleaner and brush before car wash. Then the car would be cleaner with no streaks. Oh well next time.
When they said they do everything big in Texas, they are never joking around. 😂😂😂😂
I wish I had known you were going to be in Katy, I live a 10minutecar ride from the car wash
Gas was pretty cheap? Wow!
Don't mess with Texas ...
I wish I could live in Texas...
Like the old saying goes, everything's bigger in Texas 😂

I feel the pain when you rub that dirty brush on your ice edge color Camry

Jon Be Barr and Actionkid are wonderful. I watch both.
Lol. Your hygiene must be top notch.
We use them at our car wash
Do you keep your engine on? Or are you on a belt?
You can keep the engine on but the car has to be in neutral ...
I count about 25 brushes.
Your not supposed to use that stuff after the wash. You need to wash it offf after using it because it eats away at your paint after siting on there.
And still no car wash for dually trucks
Extra mojos I the comments per order of your guidelines! Lol!👻
I bet its expensive
16.00
@@htownandi6263 16 dollars that is very good.
What? No mitter curtains?
Wher ican find this mashine and how much this price??

Is Rosie shy that’s why you don’t show her in your videos
She has a TH-cam channel also
Bug spray then wash yikes
Not worth commenting.
waste of time cleaning car's, only get dirty again.
I'm pretty sure you're supposed to scrub the bugs off before you run it through the wash, not after lol
