The path is narrow but the boulders have been removed, but we need to keep removing the pebbles from our shoes, if ignored or accepted we will never be sure footed and will not reach the destination, IMO

Can God make mistakes? Might as well ask “can gravity falter”. He made gravity. He made absolutley every law of physics we know and yet question if he can make a mistake? Do we even have the mind to comprehend him enough to say “you are wrong here”?

To the question can God make a mistake? I would like to know what Cliffe and others think about Genesis 6:6 - “And the Lord regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart”
Other translations say ‘was sorry he made man….’
If you regret something you did doesn’t that mean you made a mistake?
I believe that God is perfect and therefore cannot make a mistake but I am struggling to find a way to interpret that verse as not a mistake. I know it says the Lord found favor in Noah but He was literally about to wipe out all of mankind and the animals and the birds. Let me know what you think.
And if anyone can get this to Cliffe for a response that would be amazing.

Allah is the first and the last and the manifest and the hidden and Allah has knowledge of everything - (Quran 57:3).
God is spirit and his worshippers must worship him in spirit and truth - (Gospel of John 4:24).
Prophet Jesus has sent Prophet Muhammad in Allah's command - (Gospel of John 16: 7-14 and Quran 33: 45-46 indirectly).
According to the Quran also Allah has given authority to Prophet Jesus to judge at the day of judgement and Prophet Jesus was present with Allah during the creation of the Universe - (Quran 21: 29-30 indirectly).
In Quran 21:29 it is mentioned indirectly that Prophet Jesus will send those Christians to hell who say that Jesus is also a deity besides Allah.

@@Mdsoyabaktar25 Thank you for commenting!! I have never read much of the Quran, so I will not act like an expert, but purely from a logistical standpoint, wouldn’t it be more logical to learn about Jesus from the people who were eyewitnesses to his teachings rather than from a prophet who never met an eyewitness, hundreds of years later? Btw, this is coming from a Christian who is genuinely trying to understand Islam more bc I respect them 😁

@@ry_higgy A certain ruler asked Jesus, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
"Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. No one is good except God alone.
      - (Luke 18: 18,19).
Worshipping anyone except Allah is an unforgivable sin - (Quran 4:48, 4:116).
(If not repented before dying moment and before death then it's an unforgivable sin).
Of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil, until death faces one of them, and he says, "Now have I repented indeed;" nor of those who die rejecting Faith: for them have We prepared a punishment most grievous.
      - (Quran 4:18).
Allah forgives all sins if anyone repents to him - (Quran 39:53).

@@Mdsoyabaktar25 Why do you believe the Quran is trustworthy?

    • @RichardMizenko

@@Mdsoyabaktar25 The Quran is false a d full of contradictions and lies. If you say the Bible is corrupted then your Quran is corrupted because the Quran says to obey the Gospels and Torah. Surah 5:47 So let the people of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed in it. And those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are ˹truly˺ the rebellious. Surah 5:68 Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “O People of the Book! You have nothing to stand on unless you observe the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord.” And your Lord’s revelation to you ˹O Prophet˺ will only cause many of them to increase in wickedness and disbelief. So do not grieve for the people who disbelieve. Surah 6:115 The Word of your Lord has been perfected in truth and justice. None can change His Words. And He is the All-Hearing, All- Knowing. So since you say Bible is corrupted means your Allah is a false God and you can't stand on your own book because it's a bunch of lies. Repent before its to late accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. He is God and the only one who can forgive your sins. Allah of the Quran is Satan the greatest of deceivers. Quran 3:54 And the disbelievers made a plan ˹against Jesus˺, but Allah also planned-and Allah is the best of planners. The Qur'an openly states many times that Allah is the best of l-mākirīna, a word sometimes mildly translated as planners, though also as schemers or plotters. The Arabic word used here is "ماكر" "maakir", coming from the root m-k-r م-ك-ر, with the word Makr "مكر" primarily meaning to practice deceit or guile or circumvention. The Quran elsewhere tells believers to shun lying speech (Quran 22:30), to not testify to falsehood (Quran 25:72). Similar exhortations to truthfulness are found in hadiths, with exceptions in the case of warfare, to facilitate the murder of one of Muhammad's enemies, or to bring reconciliation between parties.
