    I agree with the idea of uploading designs gifts. Just make it unsearchable and lowball the price to break even and voila...you got Christmas presents AND your tier sales. You can change them out as you want so its not like your stuck with Uncle Bobs i ❤Beer shirt forever.
    I also order christmas presents with my sample orders. Joined gelato and got 6 items at 50% off. There's 6 more presents and i was able to really see how their quality is over multiple items and sizes.

    Great videos! I’ve decided to make use of my design hobby and actually start making a side hustle from it. I’ve seen a lot of people get good success but it isn’t always so easy. If I can get accepted I will stick to this. I feel like a good strat is to make sure I’m marketing myself on social media. I don’t have any following outside of a few hundred family and friends(which is more than most), but I want to make design related content to showcases my process.

    Would it be possible to reveal or give us an idea of the niche you used for the getting out of tier 10 on amazon ? i know we need to make all the shirts be one niche and then promote them on an instagram exclusiving for our niche amazon brand to get sales to tier up and then we can change later. but it still seems like unless we making something super super niched down, sending people to our store they may still just buy from something else. just a thought! thank you!

    Hi Hannah, very informative video! I believe the returns issue might be why I am still stuck on level 100 with 731 sales - For better or worse, my absolute top seller is a Halloween shirt that people seem to "borrow" for the holiday and then conveniently return in November. This is so disheartening. I have a total of 73 returns and 68 of them have come from this shirt ...but this shirt has also sold 591 total - even after returns. Do you have any tips or insight on holiday shirts that get returned like this? I've heard this is common ... it's just unfortunate that this is my biggest seller I think. I have another similar shirt selling well this year and I'm already anticipating that one getting returns now too. Also, for the ads - I have access to them at tier 100. It's almost like they gave me ads instead of tiering me up. Would love for you to do some videos on Amazon ads! Mine are working but I think I am overpaying as my cost per click is around 0.35 but it also seems to be helping organic sales. Thank you for all the info and great videos!

    • @niceice07
      @niceice07 ปีที่แล้ว

      Literally got another return on that shirt as I typed this ha so I guess it's not just November ... but I don't think there is anything wrong with the design. It has over 40 reviews with 4 and 5 stars.

    • @hannahebeling
      @hannahebeling  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Lisa! Thanks for taking time to watch and comment! Wow, that's so frustrating about the halloween shirt. My returns tend to go up during Q4 too with people buying gifts and then finding something better or returning something they got. Wish I had more insight into this, but I think you're smart in not deleting the design since its making good sales. honestly 73 returns out of 731 sales in a bit on the high side, but not astronomical. Fingers crossed that after the holiday you'll get moved up. That's awesome you have ads! A video on ads is pretty highly requested, so I definitely will make that happen soon. Unless its a great seller, I tend to spend between .15-.36 per click, but it really does depend a lot on the niche/profit margin.

    • @MB-pf9ox
      @MB-pf9ox ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@hannahebeling maybe try lowering the price of that shirt at Halloween time. If the price is low most people weight the amount of time it takes to go through return process. I wouldn’t take the time returning a $15 shirt but if it was $25 i just might. Seems like a contradiction but if it cut your returns to say 23 and allowed you to move up a tier… maybe lower across the board until you reach the higher tier.

    Greetings Hanna and thanks for all your efforts in your tutorials re: Amazon Merch. To keep it brief l have two questions: 1). My initial target on Amazon Merch will be to market one design in a large niche zone. l want to place 5 garments x 2 color combinations - White on black & black on white = 10 in total. Not sure if Amazon Merch finds this okay....Let me know if you can. 2). Does Amazon Merch ( specifically ) have a chat function [ not the general Amazon chat ]. Thanks so much. Regards Anthony.

    • @user-fh7xl4fp5b
      @user-fh7xl4fp5b 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      1) you can totally do that. however, I always would only load up one product in one country and wait if it doesnt get rejected for copy right questions. I'm an artist and my designs are 100% original, but still they sometimes find something in the description what is in their optinion copyrighted. If rejection happens too often you get banned. Plus if your designs dont sell you have to put on different ones anyways so I wouldnt think more about different ideas than differen color combinations
      2) dont know what you mean so I cant answer that

    • @hannahebeling
      @hannahebeling  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The wonderful thing about Amazon merch is you won’t eat the cost of the returns-you just won’t make the profit for that item. Typically returns are going to be a small percentage of all sales.
