Him being 36 is crazy, feels like his prime was yesterday tbh. Dude’s absolutely done tho, and he essentially has little to no chance of making waves in any division. You can’t tell the story of mma fighting without talking about Conor Mcgregor, but whether you love him or hate him you can’t argue the sport has moved on from him. It’ll be interesting to see wat the UFC does going forward because Pereira is in his later 30’s, Jones has one fight left realistically, and O’Malley doesn’t move numbers to the degree that the UFC tries to insinuate. We’re possibly looking at a situation where Shavkat, Ank, Umar, and Islam are all champs at the same time with some people even throwing Movsar in that list.

Conors story is so unfulfilled as a fighter he allowed success and wealth to destroy his character and legacy. This guy could have been on the level of Bruce Lee & Ali had he continued with the same discipline as they did, but he evolved from a Savage to the Joker, and now he's Screetch. Wealth does not equal integrity or character he's 36 now and blew it. I even put Ronda Rousey over Conor, at least she defended her belt 5 or 6 times.

Randy couture prior to his Tim Sylvia fight said he was going to start training smarter rather than harder and he was doing a bunch of trampoline exercises. He dominated that fight. I just gave Chael his first loss.
Connor hit a 1 way street with the gear. He'll have to get insanely crafty to stay on it and pass testing, or just come off and crash his system and feel like ass for a few months and hope he gets back to baseline. He's not coming back.
McGregor has already been in the testing pool for around a year now. McGregor entering the testing pool was a big deal at the end of last year, and the UFC changing from USADA to the new agency.
He's already been tested at least a few times and passed the tests.
I'm not a huge McGregor fan, but it's annoying when people make comments that are blatantly false. If you're not sure about something, then don't leave a comment stating your guess like it's a fact.
If he was on gear, it's not hard to get off and get your hormones back to around normal. Especially with money. It's literally just 2 substances.

Check out people's reports of what PCT is like. It can be a smooth ride down, but you'll have to use Clomid or what ever your PCT drug of choice is but that's detectable too. It's just a cluster f*** not to mention how he'd mentally feel. It's messy.

The smoothest move I ever saw Conor display (aside from that LICKIN' he stuck on Eddie) was the opening spinning back-kick he threw on Dustin in their first fight! It didn't connect, but I swear it set the tempo for that fight, and young, bald Dustin didn't want NONE of that! Young Conor's movement really was a mystery-machine at 145!

Connor is getting ready to fight in the bkfc, in my opinion. He has to find out his last two fights with the ufc, unless he has a sunset clause, but I think that's at least what he's trying to portray.

it's nice to see chael tentatively getting off the mcgregor hype train. i like listening to chael but the rusted-on idea that conor was single-handedly propping up the entire UFC became a stale routine that was harder to listen to than an ad for wallets. you can't seriously be the promotion's "biggest star" when you never fight. the audience moved on and got excited by a lot of far more likeable fighters, and chael sabotaged the sport by dragging the attention back to yesterday's news. it's possible this is really about chael finally accepting that his own relevance as a fighter has faded into history

@@supercash5891 I can't argue with your list, they all crushed Conor's hopes and dreams, but Nate Diaz was the first. Until then Conor was the unbeatable double champ that the UFC, Dana, the media and everyone else wanted to crown as king. Then while on vacation, a Diaz brother got the call with 8 days notice, and crashed Conor's whole life. Some of the greatest lines in MMA history come from Nate talking about Conor "I'm not surprised MF's!" and "So you're a wrestler now?!" and the one about Conor "playing touch butt in the park with that dork with a ponytail". Conor has never been the same physically, mentally, emotionally, or probably even spiritually. Diaz started the Conor decline

It's a little sad to see. Father time always wins and Death waits for no one.
Everyone feels this, and everyone is eagerly waiting as the anticipation builds to see if there's it's a fighting chance to still accomplish something big. That's what Connor's return represents.
It would be a great triumph and inspirational story if McGregor comes back and wins. Defeats all odds of being older, and after one of the worst sports injuries, and sleeping in silk sheets, and being a famous actor, and having money coming in from other business ventures, and he has already accomplished a lot in the sport so the thought of resting on his laurels and not needing to prove anything to anyone anymore is creeping into his head.
Typically a fighter loses the eye of the tiger when he has all of that working against his chances to win.
I think Conor is struggling with not being ready to call it quits yet because he is a great competitor. He still has fights left on his contract and he feels that there is unfinished business.
This would be a modern day, real life Rocky movie.
But that's just it... The odds are stacked against him and it's extremely difficult to get into the right mentality to really commit to this.
Connor is afraid that it might be over, but I think he is not ready to let that be the case. I think he is fighting his 2 fights left on the contract to finish what he started.

After the Jake Paul video leaking the contract negoitiation with ESPN we all now know that Connor not fighting has never been on Conor, Conor not fighting has been on Dana this entire time. If Conor were to have fought Dana only gets to lump one Conor fight into the deal with ESPN. Since Conor has 2 fights left on his contract its much better for the UFC if they can use two Conor PPVs instead of one when Dana is trying to negoitiate a new contract with ESPN. Its comical everyone has hated on Conor for not fighting during this time.

for the people that call Mcgregor a chicken beacuse Khabib called him like that I say this: Khabib was a better figher but him calling MCgregor chicken was because they were angry at eachother, we promoted the fight and we was really in disgust morally of Mcgregor, but not that he was really scared. These fighters at this level are not chicken. We the fans that insult on the internet
are chickens, not knowing what a real fight at that level means. It is really offensive what we as fans do by calling professional fighters names…Even the weaker ones are killing machines that would fuck us up if in an altercation with them.
