I don’t think he needs to provide proof since he never said that’s why he lost. He said Merab won and gave him a bunch of compliments.
Then later he said he was going to take a 9-10 month break. He didn’t even say anything about surgery then. So it’s not like he’s trying to connect this surgery to his loss, and wouldn’t feel any need to “prove” he had surgery to start witb
Cejudo ruined his legacy by taking the gamble of returning. He went away at the right time but then fell victim to the temptation of chasing the high again. And now he's desperately trying to repair the mess he created.
Henry came back because he most probably needed the money. That's a top one or two motivation for most people

I love sean o'malley i think for him to be a champion again he has to fight figgy.. he can win because sean said merab felt to strong.. figgy coming up a weight class and can wrestler plus jiu jitsu black belt.. that trianing camp ans fight will help him because merab or usman will be champion.. yeah the cory fight is cool but itll probably be boring just like mvp said about how the fans want to see him fight wonderboy.. cory and sean would be fun but will that training camp/win help them beat umar or merab ? I dont think so and i bet figgy would get looked over again....

Omalley got completely humiliated and stock dropped by merab. He wont be back for a year. Neither one are one fight away from title contention . (Especially Henry)
