If you inadvertently rotate the pump, which is easy to do, just check to ensure the seals are intact. The only seal that is usually a problem is the top one. The seals are held in place by the case (top and bottom). If the pump was rotated it is simple to push the seal back in. All three seals should be checked before the pump is installed.
My 2022 untra max is plastic on area that should be metal, like threaded area I'm unsure if the pump it plastic inside.. Can I change the parts to metal one like the older models. Cheers

Yep mine would only spray paint , but not water , when cleaning out . At this stage you’ll probably spray another 10 litres if your lucky before pump says that’s it !
ha, i came here become mine doesnt work, i mean the pump turns on but i think i clogged the inlet , sitting around 2+ years with no use, and the rust was all over the inlet fitting
I have a Titan pro sprayer for 8 years now and it works like a charm....but it's bulky and long to clean .. NOW Graco wants 1000$ for this little sprayer and they WARN you after 200 liters you will dish out another 280$ for a new pump?? are they SERIOUS?
Why do the washer go bad 👎 used mine twice and washer broke. Had to buy another gun guess that happened again so now I have 2 broken guns with same problem. 🤦♂️
To be honest I wish I never bought mine. 2nd pump needs replacing now and no where near 200 ltrs. Graco are great for airless sprayers but the ultra is shite imo. Compressor set up next I think.
Problems are In most situations not caused by a malfunction of the pump itself but most often by the poor design of the tip where paint gets caught in a small chamber in the very end of the tip. If Graco took sustainability seriously they would allow customers to repair/ purchase the front plastic tip. This would solve the vast majority of malfunctioning Ultras. Graco is Chinese crap labeled as American quality.

I noticed before mine went it couldnt pump water and only spray paint. Another sign is paint around pistons I think.

So I can put an ultra pump in my ultramax? I rather use water based paint only and get the aluminum nut to use an 10" extender.
