Series 6 RX-7 are one of the most gorgeous cars on the planet, hands down. The sound from the rotary is just bliss. I had the Series 3 and would have given anything to get a series 6.

Just a point on the sequential turbos: on the(Model 6) Series 8 cars both turbos ran continuously,the second spooling to match the first from 3500 revs, also they had uprated 16 & 32 Bit ECUs. Was 1997 the last year for official imports into Auatralia as I understand that the Series 8 cars were JDM only? I imported a brand new TypeRS Special Edition in 2000, which I still have, completely stock aside from the Rotechniks exhaust.

I would say that either the exhaust note is very deep over the video or you needed to rev the car out much higher than you were. From how it seemed I think you were only reving it to maybe 4000 rpm and that's is where the power would only start to come in. The Turbos wouldn't even have had a chance to spool up until after 4000. Sorry to sound negative I don't mean to just trying to state facts. Maybe I'm wrong LOL.
