After Luigi whenever I get to it, will do Daisy since she also has a new voice actor, then see about everyone else, though I imagine Pauline also has new voice lines.
Pauline has some voice clips reused from Mario Kart Tour
I wouldn't do Daisy since all her voice clips in this game are mostly reused from Wonder.

And that was because Kevin simply tried to make it sound close to the actual clip of "Mario time!" by Charles. Now he's putting his own spin on it, and it sounds better

Kevin’s already getting better after just one year in the role and that’s so awesome to see. Some of these clips are absolute dead ringers for Charles, in general most of these are rock solid with only a few weird ones here and there (not counting recycled Wonder clips). I have a feeling Brothership will be where he truly shines for the first time

Kevin has now perfected his Mario voice, and now I can't even tell the difference between his Mario voice or Charles Martinet's.
Even Charles has admitted he never “perfected” the voices, he was practically improving them every day.

I adore this slightly higher pitched Mario voice Kevin is doing! Really makes Mario sound younger and peppier than he ever has been, and he's certainly doing better and better each game!
I was looking this up, as I really thought Charles Martinet voiced the game like re-using old voice clips. He sounds like an exact copy.

Definitely sounds like Mario but some voice clips seem to cut off too abruptly. Also I think he's only really mastered Mario's mid range, his high and low voice for him don't sound entirely right

Kevin has done an amazingly good job at improving since his first cast. Honestly sometimes I can’t tell the difference between him and Charles’ Mario impressions.

@@yazanalqahtani9851I think you're focusing too heavy on the calmer voice clips, where he performs best. The second he attempts a higher energy line he either sounds like mickey mouse or a teen going through puberty. Same with his other voices.
Case in point, that first mama mia was a whole sour note. The second was good. When he tries to do any emotion other than relaxed when speaking as him it falls apart.
If you were Casting Mario’s OFFICIAL voice, would you say “this is it”? Sounds like “guy imitating Mario”, but not actually him. Not bashing Kev Afghani; his best work yet. But why settle for 7.5/10 voice?

Very obvious that they went the cheap route and just got someone who had worked with Nintendo of America before (Kevin voiced a Switch commercial btw) and I guess that was the only person who could do a decent Mario
@@sahaprocks7751 From one of the most beloved voice actors who is synonymous with the character, to the dude who does the Direct voiceovers. Like the previous commenter, I'm not bashing Kevin, I just can't understand why they put so little effort into finding the new voice for one of the most popular characters of all time.
If I were gonna criticize Kevin’s Mario, it’s gonna be that 40% of his lines sounds higher that it makes him mimicking Mickey Mouse. Try to tone those voice lines a bit so it wouldn’t sound like him.
I feel like in every comment section in videos that features Kevin’s new lines on Mario, Wario, and Waluigi, these criticisms and opinions are normal. I’m fine with it, but still, some of ya are sh*ting and being way too harsh on Kevin Afgahni!

Tbh I think Mario sounds great! I feel like some of yall are complaining just cause it’s new, playing the actual game I don’t feel put off by Mario’s change in voice, he still sounds super good when you’re in the heat of the action.

He’s doing much better! If I had to be very specific - His mid range is basically perfect. Although he still needs to work on the higher and lower range and his S’s and T’s are too sharp.
