    Hi. Just wanted to say, this video convinced me to purchase the Battle Belt Lite month ago. I was initially looking at the Defense Mechanisms Mech belt, but was turned off by the lack of proper MOLLE on it. I then saw Blue Alpha's Battle Belt Lite and went looking for reviews and found yours. Convinced me to buy one. Very happy with my purchase. It's a slick, durable and lightweight belt. I even started using the inner belt for my EDC. Works great and makes throwing on the outer belt a breeze. I subbed to your channel a while back. You're putting out some really informative videos. Thanks man.

      Glad it helped, and I agree I run the inner belt as my edc belt on range days just makes everything so much easier.

      So.... do you like it? I have been waffling between this the Kore and the Ronin. I like the Kores ease of sizing and adjustability, I like the Ronin for the rated D-ring and I like this for the light weight. It's a pretty difficult decision but I'm leaning heavily towards this belt. I like the fact it should give a little more adjustment around the mid-section being able to adjust from both sides.... and tucking the tails under is brilliant! No loss of Molle and no sloppy tail to worry about tying up..... and nobody likes sloppy tail! Lol

    • @mysteryman33333
      @mysteryman33333 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@beri232 I like it a lot. If you're not doing any work that requires the D-ring that the Ronin belt offers, the Battle Belt Lite is great. The details in its design that you mentioned make it really slick and easy to work with. The way the tails tuck inside is brilliant, because not only do you not lose any MOLLE on the outside, the inside doesn't lose any adhesion to the loop velcro on the inner belt because BA made sure to put body-facing hook on the tails. It's just a really smartly designed belt.

      I was thinking about this or the Mech belt also, but after seeing this video, I think I'm going with the BA. I'm glad to hear you like yours.

    I ran the blue alpha 2” duty belt (non molle) for three years. I also have the edc and low profile belts. I have been wearing the battle belt lite on patrol since the release. Also grabbed a molle cuff holder. The battle belt lite is fantastic! It’s lighter and more rigid than the 2” belt. I was initially worried about the 1.75” width but that was quickly dispelled as every molle or regularly attached item works great. Side note- the cuff case mounts with pieces of velcro one wrap and it is a rock solid lock up.

      How do you like their cuff pouch? I bought 2 of them for my ASP cuffs and didn't like them. The ASP cuff shifts / moves around way too much inside the pouch. The pouch is not sturdy enough like dedicated asp pouches. Blue Alpha's cuff pouch is too flimsy and doesn't carry the weight of the cuff well. I bought molle cuff pouches and have the 2" molle patrol belt but I was unable to weave the velcro through the molle.
      What items do you carry on the blue alpha Lite belt? I'm a little worried the 1.75 Lite belt won't properly carry the weight of the 2" patrol belt.

      @@A2DaZ210 I bought the molle cuff pouch and carry peerless chain. For me the pouch itself is not flimsy. The cuffs move inside the pouch a little but not so much that they’re rattling. I carry the pouch behind my gun and have not had a problem with the snap retention.

    I just bought one for Tactical Games. Building it out today and testing it tomorrow at the range and in a couple weeks at a competition in SC. I got the plastic buckle because I figured if I was going light I was going to go all the way. LOL Knock on wood, but I have total confidence in BA belts. Have used their other belts (Battle Belt with Low Profile belt and their low profile edc) and they have performed flawlessly. Their cuff pouches are not great. I ordered a set for 2 ASP cuffs I carry. The cuff pouch is not sturdy enough and the cuffs shift / move around a lot within the pouch. I was a little disappointed. I however run their molle 2" patrol belt for patrol. The 2" patrol belt has been great. Took some time to break in and I wear ice vents with it to alleviate the pelvic pressure. I moved to the blue alpha patrol belt from a Bianchi 2.25 belt.
    Blue Alpha said the Lite was not built for patrol use. Maybe because we carry too much and it might not hold. The Lite belt is 1.75", I don't believe 1.75" is good to run for patrol, which is why I didn't buy the Lite and continue to run their 2" patrol belt.

    • @unclefreedom213
      @unclefreedom213  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I got in the cuff pouches and I'm not sure how I feel about them either. I wasn't expecting them to be as flexible as they are. The rattle is tolerable from ASPs but unbearable with Hiatts or Peerless. I will say they are not sized for standards which contributed to the rattle, I was curious if it would work in a pinch. I have decided to go with a Blue Alpha belt for duty just waiting on it all to come together. Looking forward to running it. This lite is just scary with how comfortable and stable it is.

    • @A2DaZ210
      @A2DaZ210 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@unclefreedom213 let me know how the Lite feels on patrol if you run it? We don't have outer carriers so we have all the weight / items on our belts.
      Most manufacturers are going to Tegris but I dont believe all items should move to that. I wanted to run the Lite for patrol but changed my mind when I found out it had tegris in it, especially after seeing how the cuff pouches felt. I ran their cuff pouch at the 2 o' clock and wasn't comfortable with the movement and how flexible they were either. The pouch would causes the handcuff tp sag forward. I moved to a zero 9 asp pouch. The zero 9 asp pouch is ok, but bulky and heavy.

      @@A2DaZ210 Hey man I'm LEO in southern california and I've been rocking the battle belt lite for the last 2 months with no issues. I used the BAG MOLLE 2 inch LEO belt prior to the battle belt lite and that was nice too, but the lite is way better.
      With how rigid and light the belt is, even with all my police gear on it, it sits nicely on the hips. Compared to the 2 inch LEO belt, it doesnt pull down on my hips thanks to the tegris in it. Its noticeable when I store my belt in my locker at EOS, the battle belt lite holds its structure and weight much better than the 2 inch BAG LEO belt. The 2 inch belt would still sag quite a bit when off the hips.
      As far as tegris goes, a lot of my partners use battle belts with tegris from other companies. I see some partners running KORE essentials, ferro concepts, and GBRS with zero issues in the 1.75 configuration. The 1.75 configuration doesnt really change much when drawing items from your duty belt.

    Hey Uncle Freedom, great informative video. I have a question on this Blue Alpha Belt Lite. Is this Blue Alpha Belt Lite to be put on over your pants NOT using your pants' belt loops? ....or do you have to put on the inner belt thru your pants' belt loops prior to putting the outer belt to it before buckling it on? -dave

    • @unclefreedom213
      @unclefreedom213  ปีที่แล้ว

      It comes with an inner belt. It's the low profile edc belt from Blue Alpha which is an amazing belt in its own right. That will go through your pants belts loops and the battle belt Lite attaches with velcro to the inner belt which is one of the reasons it's so stable.. Hope that helps, anything else just let me know. Thanks for watching

Basically another academy with fellow officers are you actually do the job of a cop. After that it could be a couple more years(again department dependent) before you get the invite to try out, you make the cut the to operators schools them on a team. It's a bit of a process.
