Cast Away From Here - Unknown Artist (Cover By DefyJoe)

"Cast Away From Here" is the temporary title given to an unknown Rock song that was uploaded to Watzatsong in November of 2021 by "account12399" (the same user who originally uploaded "My Pretty Doll").
The original upload was a (fairly bad condition) tape transfer. Since then, many people have restored/mastered the song and created something that sounds much more palatable. I had always been a massive fan of this song and was craving something of much better quality, so decided to finally cover it myself. There's been lots of debate on the true pitch of the song - I pitched it down a semitone because, for me, it made sense playing that on guitar/bass. I do think it sounds better in this key, personally! Anyway, hope you enjoy!

A few months ago, I dreamt this song was solved; not by me, but the word "Pacifier/Pacified" was to do with the artist, album or song name. I haven't found anything that matches though.
Pacifier was the name of a New Zealand band, normally known as Shihad. They changed their name after 9/11 because they thought Shihad sounded like Jihad.

@@nickd8016 I believe it was in front of my eyes, but as I stated, I only remember the word "Pacified", or "Pacifier"; I can't even remember whether it was the band name, song name or even album name.. 😣
On another recent dream, I heard "I Keep On Running" playing in a local hospital! I asked some staff, who gave me some media with the song, which turned out to be sung by Kylie Minogue! As well as another vocalist I didn't recognise... next day in my waking life, I find "Meet Your Maker" had been solved!!
I'm sure these couple dreams are both: a result of me thinking about lostwave music every day, AND: a higher being (God) sending me these dreams to tell me of a future occurrence.
