what a great interview! Gordon's a natural and Nik comes across as such an honest, open and genuinely likeable guy. Seems like a guy you could have a very enjoyable chin wag to - whether he'd enjoy it....lol! I love his attitude - also loved his tone in the 80s along with Frank Dunnery and (my idol) Alan Murphy. Always thought Nik was under rated as a guitarist. Thanks for posting this - as someone else said, parts 1,2,3 & 4 just flew by.

A fascinating interview. The four parts flew by which is always a good sign. It was great to hear Nik Kershaw talking about his creative process. An underrated songwriter - I would have loved to hear more of that acoustic guitar.
Wow. This answers my questions. Thank you. Great musical messages here. You can be limited by an instrument in your musical composition and ideas and not realise you need to go with the idea rather than what you know or are capable of on that instrument.

I am huge fan of Nik. He is a small guy like me. But why does he look bigger in all of his interviews?
I think he is so modest and doesn't realise he is an innovator and mentor. Ideal of course. It could not be written, That is why he is speshul!
