I'm a Brit living in fairly rural NC... people here do struggle from time to time to understand me... going through a drive through is interesting at times!
Sick work! Grew up in Denver my whole life. I can speak proper english and spanish or fluent ghetto. Found the rc community has it all reason why I find it interesting.
Did you d440 thats nice man! Been stuggling with an ender 3 to print some but will upgrade to direct drive filament printer soon. Using a bit of soapy water to insert the ring in the no foam helps a lot
Looking nice. Man I was going to make a video when the MOSFET(s) got here, but now I have to rethink it due to my accent, maybe I'll do one of those silent videos rofl.
Look into tpe instead of tpu filament. Takes a little to get it to print. Also try playing with the material thickness in the slicer. I was able to make some inserts that air like super aired down with very little side roll
I think I still prefer dual stage foams with outers softer than that, allowing the tire to really grip around edges. Could be a good option for rock racing though.
Was thinking about doing something along these lines for some tires I have on my Honcho - the foams are too soft, and was thinking I might be able to stiffen them up a touch (for less side wall flex).
I can hear the bugs under the house breathing when you’re not talking into the mic on this one 😂 Do people usually appreciate my regional lack of accent? No, yeah.

I'm in rural NC too. I'm 18 miles from Charlotte (avoid it like all big cities).
Nc here, Asheville area, 30 minutes from the (city)
You know me if ya make em I'll buy em lol. Eagerly waiting to see who made the cut for team driver's this year😅💪
Gnomes for the win! I'm from same area as you, the you explain it😅
I would love to see Holmes Hobbies Gnomes for sale in a few size options. Or made for certain popular tires

Very cool!
Still holding my credit card in my hand………love my Wraith as well!
Holms PTI's. I'm from East TN. I got to many stories to tell about way I talk.
Got my first Revolver Sat. along with the V3 esc and it's the greatest system I've ran.
"Ope, lemme sneak right by ya."
No, yeah, you’re fine.
Nice work Johnrob! I had some 3D printed inserts made for my VXT2 tires and they made a world of difference. Not as cool as star cut foams, but wow.🤣
How about that wall of rigs? That's the best I've seen plus it's lit. I'll have to search for that video.

great idea
Had so many failures of my own. You need more retraction due to the material being springy in the tube. Also have to print very slow 35mms
@@blueprelude94-33like you say you had many failures. New direct drive printers are cheaper than old used ones.
...and "more retraction" isnt a solution with TPU 😉
Ill take a bag of foams an tires lol.

A similar design is available on eBay from Poptarts Prints. Just released a dual stage 3d printed foam today.
cool
"Listen to me in my non-regional diction." lmmfao

I hope you start selling these. I need some for Proline Trenchers 1.9x4.75 on a 6 lb comp rig.
Did you print those on the Bambu Lab X1? I have been tempted to try TPU for foams.
Ohhhh how badly I want a set of soft ones for the v2 klrs. Just under five pound rig.
Looking good!! What is the hardness rating for those TPU you use to print them? 95a or less?

Put those up for sale, I need a set for that exact setup.
never noticed the silver thumb lol
I find it distracting when the shot is close up.
Are you going to make the model files available for us to download and print?
possibly, still fine tuning the design
I think there will be some likes and dislikes, but it seems like a good attempt.👍👍👍
I recently purchased your REVOLVER 540 SS 2023 TEAM SPEC 2250kv motor. What ESC do you recommend me using with it?
Crawlmaster v3!
Central Mass accent here R’s get dropped a lot 😂

That auto level mic get hot when I'm not talking!
John i am guessing you had a daughter? Guessing by the thumbnail.
I was about to ask the same.
