I am catching up on your video. Wow, that was a cool tower. To bad it is rotting away over time because I imagine the view is awesome from up there. Either way the view you had from ground level was sweet! Nice way to test the on highway vehicle off road. I like when cafes deck out the walls with older things to checkout. Lunch sounded awesome! Nice way to get in a little rest before you continue.
Hey buddy!! Yeah it was too bad we couldn’t go up the tower but with it being so old probably wouldn’t be safe. Yeah, it’s been fun to ride the street scooter around a little bit, going to get back to quad riding here pretty quick. Yeah for sure we love that café. I like how they decorate the walls to. Thanks for checking out the video, my friend. Looking forward to your next camping video adventure!
Thanks for your insight on the rocks getting in the sprocket and damage belt. Yes, I was aware of that. Yes, we enjoy riding the Spyder or what we call a scooter. Thanks for checking out the video!
Very interesting to see you explore this area. I used to live not far from there. Down towards Clarksville. I ate at that Cafe more than once. Rode trails on a four wheeler up there.
Hi Jimmy, yeah, most of the time when we go to Mulberry Mountain Campground, we ride ATVs on the trails in the area. We thought it would be fun to explore the surrounding area on the scooter. Thanks for checking out the video much appreciated!
Hey Shawn, haha you’re probably right in our younger days. We would’ve found a way up there. Thanks for checking out the video buddy. Much appreciated!
Hi Chuck, that was our first time. Trying it out on a gravel road. It done just fine although it did get a little bit dirty. LOL Thanks for checking out the video!
0:44 - HAHAHAHA!!!!! Ohhhh Ms.K you crack me up! - - - I had a real hard time understanding what you were saying (very muffled, but Ms.K was clear) until at 11:32 the audio completely changes & I'm guessing it's because you flipped your visor up. Are you wearing a completely enclosed helmet? We've had this same issue with guys wearing enclosed helmets. Not sure if you remember some videos of mine where we were all laughing because we couldn't understand what Uncle Dave was saying? Well, after about 2 years of this, we finally figured out his helmet was too enclosed. All he did was take this little neoprene wind deflector out from under his chin and it fixed the problem. Anyway, sorry for babbling, I just thought I'd let you know in case you're trying to figure out how to fix it - lol - although, I bet you've already figured it out right? - - - 12:03 - that wall is cool! 12:30 - The buzzards are hanging out on the tower; too funny! - - - - That tower is cool, but I can totally understand why they would take the stairs out and not keep it repaired; because in today's mixed up world we are all somehow responsible for everyone else's poor decisions. If someone decided to jump off the tower, it would be the State's fault because we should have known Betty-Bob was a jumper; or if a little kid fell off and died, it wouldn't be the parents fault for not looking after their kid properly🙄I'm so tired of this side of the pendulum we've swung over too. It'll be nice when it swings back a little and people will once again be responsible for their own actions. OK, I'm finished with my rant - HAHAHAHA!!! - - - 14:28 - Beauty view!!! 19:05 - That Oark Cafe is so cool! I remember it from one of your other videos. Would love to tour through those mountains and check out all these stops. - - - Awesome video buddy! Thanx for the tour!
Heyyy buddy! Thanks for the input on the audio. Yes, I know what you mean. My voice is muffled, I’ve been trying to move the microphone to different locations to improve it with not much success. Yes, you might be onto something with having the full enclosure of the helmet, causing the muffled issue. Yeah, the lookout tower was pretty cool. I suppose they couldn’t keep it open people with no common sense would be up there falling off. LOL Thanks for checking out the video much appreciated!
Riding a Spyder is different from a 2 wheel or 4 wheel atv. Yes tou have to slow down. On a 2 wheel, 4 wheel atv you have to slow down on Sharpe curves. The Spyder is an awesome ride.
What you have to be careful with the Spyder when you go off road, as the Spyder is not an off road bike. We don't call the Spyder a scooter or a motorcycle. Even though definitions more motorcycle. But as Spyder riders, we call a Spyder a Spyder. If you go off road, when you can check your rear sprocket to make sure you don't have a rock wedged in where the teeth of the sprocket and the teeth of the drive belt match up, if you get a rock wedged in tbe sprocket teeth, the rock could tear up the drive belt. Ride safe, remember the Spyder is a different bike. Ride sage bit most of all enjoy the ride. GDoc
