I mean to be fair, the entente also “invaded” Russia after WW1 in real life despite being exhausted as well. Invading a country doesn’t necessarily mean drafting the entire population and sending them over there, it could’ve been a relatively small combined task force of sorts. Especially in this era when China was not really a unified nation with a strong central government, you probably don’t need a huge army to establish your influence there. Invading the US is a different story though. I don’t see that as a likely scenario.

Somehow, amongst all this the most unrealistic part is that Kaiser Wilhelm II actually made a good decision.
Right next to him saying something nice about Japan instead of ramblings about yellow peril.
Meanwhile everyone ignored the fact Bismarck was offered the role of head foreign diplomat of the German Empire, but didn’t take it because his pride only wanted the Chancellorship.
He also made a mess in the Balkans, which lead to the war, all the German Emperor did was support Austria (their ally) the same way UK helped Belgium (their ally)
Wilhelm II was nowhere near as incompetent as people pretend. He nearly stopped WW1 had it not been for the Tsar changing his mind.

@@willowisp415 He messed it up by not resolving the issue but rather letting it fester because he didn’t want to anger either Austria or Russia. Russia expected Germany to support Slavic independence from the ottomans due to in the past not having intervened in the German unification wars.
This could easily have been done, Bulgaria and another state there I believe Romania? Already had German princes which would be allies of Germany, while a satisfied Russia would mean no chance for the French to buddy up with them…

I love how this is really a mirror to the Man in the High Castle, just as unrealistic and I like how you made it so Germany is seemingly a heroric nation as this timeline's world is very much German dominated and all atrocities and events are more than likely going to be altered to fit the German narrative. Scenario idea: What if Russia collapsed entirely after WW1? Meaning no Soviet Union, no unified Russian State at all, just loads of much smaller independent states and Greater Finnland.

Even the most favorable outcome of the war will never lead to the decomposition of the main forces of Russia, which is based on millions of Russians ... The latter, even if they broken up by international treaties, just as quickly re-connect with each other, like pieces of a particle of mercury.

Nah, that would honestly be a rather average hoi4 game. Unless there's a scripted peace most wars last until the complete capitulation of one side or the other, with major countries being the focus. Players can also archive great results against the AI.

@@coolmusiciguess6285 don't have that much time in the game either, but I have watched a bunch of TH-cam videos. Going on expeditions is quite common, although the China war isn't too bad in vanilla.

I don't agree with everything he shoves out, but it works.
Austria-Hungary would fall sooner or later and become independent nations as Croatia and Hungary and lands would be cedded to other countries like Veneto-Lombaridien to Italy, Galicia-Lodomeria to Poland and Ukraine, and Austria, Bohemia-Moravia, Carathania and Kusterland to Germany
You know describing the Entente as bloodhtirsty hooligans only out for war is preety accurate when you consider that only France was killing millions of its citizens for its survival as a prosporous nation while America and the British just decided to send them in cause they wanted to.
France at least had the need to reclaim the land that was taken from them, the brits just wanted to secure they'd not have competition and the USA wanted to get back the money they lent.

britain's entire involvement in this war was completely uncharacteristic for them
@@gas132 Anglo-German naval arms race made the british public see the germans as aggressive and a threat. If they allowed france to fall they would be sure to expect a germany that was strong enough to make britain run for the bank trying to spend money to protect their naval dominance. there were probably other factors to but this one I just remembered the most.

also france was the one preparing to invade germany to take back the land they lost after their last failed invasion along with the rest of the rheinland.
and france hated the fact that germany of all things was threatening french economic and military dominance on the continent.
the whole war was just a mess of jealousy by both france and the uk who didnt want to share their positions as european powers.
Scenario idea: What if William The Conqueror lost the battle of Hastings?
You can kind of have that in the eu4 mod ante bellum its basically a mod where a lot of important events changed like the battle of hastings, the danish are still nordic, Slavs are still in northern germany etc.

What if Justinian, instead of conquering the Ostrogothic and Vandal Kingdoms, worked to more fully integrate them into the Roman world, while providing a framework for other kingdoms in western Europe to join their territories with the Empire once more?

A suggestion, take a look at the scenario “gray tides in the East” basically if Germany did reverse Schlieffen and didn’t attack Belgium. It basically becomes everyone gang up on France and Russia.
I like how in all scenarios, South America is unscathed. Although in this case, democracy lovers would probably migrate to the region and affect its XXth century history. Those who prefer to live in shaky democracies vs literal monarchies.
What if John, Prince of Asturias and Girona, only son and heir to the catholic monarchs, survived and spain remained Trastamara?
They would be able to focus on their empire and the Americas instead of being involved in the central European slog.

I mean WW1 and WW2 already have a lot of similarities tbh. Just imagine Austria Hungary taking WW2 Italy’s place in terms of incompetence and always asking Germany for help, and the Ottoman Empire taking WW2 Japan’s place in terms of being the non-white non-temperate nation that was sort of always on the back-foot and losing territory throughout the war and never really having a chance of winning unless Germany won in the west. The biggest difference was probably that instead of knocking France out of the war first and then losing to the Russians in the east, Germany in WW1 knocked Russia out of the war but lost to the French (et al) in the west.

If anything, all that would change would be that the colonies don’t leave and more countries are on their side.

What if Sweden won the great northern war.
Finland got its independant from Russia during ww1 year 1917. And after independant finns were affraid of future Russian invasion, so they were seeking germany as guard.
This plan was almost completed, but because germany's losses in ww1, it has canceled. So if germany won ww1 it is almost certain that finland would join germany or being controled indirectly.
