Test drive of electronic Iveco Daily

- The Iveco Daily is now available in an electronic form which could be converted into a motorhome - indeed if I had the money I would do it. In fact, when I get the money, I am going to do it - I want to be the first person with an electrically powered motorhome! This desire followed this test drive around Dusseldorf at Caravan Salon 2017 which you can see in the film. There is much more to this but it is in German - I am not sure whether to publish or not!

Unfortunately that is it. There are no more. But we have ideas about doing one!

Although that is a prototype. The Iveco is the real thing and can be extended to 180km range. We are working on something which we believe can extend the range.
Hope you can test drive a Renault Master ZE next year . 200km range.
If I get access to it, I will drive it!

top speed 80 KPH, How is that even legal on a motorway, too slow, would cause a pile up.
Someone needs to fix that sound. I can't live with that horrific sound. Tesla's are quiet. That's the way I like it.
If no-one had mentioned it, I don't think I would have noticed!

It still squealed a bit but as I was so entralled by it I did not notice. Obviously love is blind - or in this case, deaf.
What a Sound..My Hyundai Ioniq is not make shit sounds. But i get range 25000km pr year..

The noise is horrendous, has noise been added even switched off? My electric car is wonderfully quiet and I can't imagine anyone would want to listen to this level of noise short or long trip. I am interested in an electric Campervan but it won't be this one.
I did not notice the noise - and the window was open.

What happens if you run out of juice? The whole family is taking a taxi to the nearest camping park? Better have a tent as a backup, no? Sorry, but I struggle to see the point

How fast do you want a van to go?
The sound of the motor is quite unpleasant and moving 3500kg+ over any long distance would be a real challenge for an ev.
I saw that some bus is claiming it can do 1,000 km on electric. Claiming being the word.
