GUERLAIN MUSC OUTREBLANC 2022 | UNBOXING & FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Hi everyone !
Today we will talk about the new release in l'Art et la Matière collection, Musc outreblanc. This fragrance will officially be released on 20/02/2022.
The nose behind it is Delphine Jelk and the notes listed are white musk, ambrette seeds, neroli, iris pallida, orange blossom absolute, Bulgarian rose, white amber, sandalwood and milky notes.
It will be available at 295€ for 100 ml and 425€ for 200 ml.
A limited white edition plaque will be available for this fragrance at 120€
I think it's needless to say that this is not sponsored, I bought this fragrance with my own dineros and this is just my honest first impression about this fragrance. I hope you'll enjoy it ^^

Bonjour Karine je l’ai testé aujourd’hui! Moi qui a de la difficulté à sentir les muscs, je suis sous le charme. Il est magnifique sur ma peau. Il tient super longtemps. Je crois bien que c’estle plus beau muscs que j’ai testé sur ma peau! Tout crémeux, enveloppant, rassurant! Wow je suis impressionnée!

Ah je crois que celui-là ne laisse pas indifférent. Je pense que tout le monde a un avis assez tranché sur ce parfum. Malheureusement après l'avoir essayé plusieurs fois il ne fonctionnait pas sur ma peau. C'est pas grave, je l'ai passé à quelqu'un d'autre, il aura fait une heureuse. En tous cas, je suis ravie qu'il te plaise et qu'il fonctionne bien sur toi 😊

I really admire your patience … you talked about it while the box was still sealed 😂. Iris and musk doesn’t sound too bad to me, but I’m not the biggest fan of musk, too. I love the cleanliness of White Musk by The Body Shop, but it isn’t a fragrance I rave about. However, these functional fragrances that are suitable for work also have their place and time, and I guess they are more difficult to make than charring Oud scents or vanilla bombs. So just enjoy!

That's not patience, that's anxiety 🤣🤣🤣 I was so nervous about it because I knew it was certainly not a safe blind buy. Buy voilà I tried 😅
This is not my favourite musk fragrance but still a safe bet if I need to go to a medical appointment or get another dose of vaccine 😂

Haha I can't lie 😆
I was a bit disappointed about how it worked on my skin. I've been wearing it for several days now and the longevity / projection is not really good. This doesn't bother me usually but for that price ... 😅
I'm a bit sceptical. It would have made more sense to me if it was part of les Eaux collection (with a lower price tag) or even the previous Les parisiennes collection 😕

I will give it another chance in Spring. So far I've been wearing it several days in a row and it is not working well in the acual weather. And then, if it still doesn't work, well that's life. It would join another caring home 😅

I think your taste for musk is a little alligned with mine. I believe you would like Chanel 1957 a little better than this Otreblanc.
Its a bit soapy with flowers, the musk and powdery notes arent overpowering or too in front, like many powdery/white floral/musk fragrances use to be.
I typically get "tired" of Musk/Powdery predominant fragrances a little fast. 1957 was the only one i felt like "i think i found my musk thing", it was so balanced to me.
I asked a Chanel store saleswoman to spray me all around my shirt to feel its longevity and other qualities, its projection died after an hour or two, its an "intimate scent", but i could feel it very clearly on the shirt the next two days. Not projecting anything but it was still there.
Its a lovely fragrance to apply at home, before receiving visitors, going someone's place, without cloying anyone.

Indeed 1957 is so far the only musk (in the sense of "clean" musk) that I've really enjoyed so far. It has this classic elegant touch from Chanel without smelling dated. I think it would work in many occasions. Well, I still have that one on my wishlist 😁

Je l’ai senti aujourd'hui sur mon bras. L’envolé est jolie, et oui ce parfum est doux, léger, j’adore le côté lacté, crémeux... mais terriblement décevant, je ne le sent pas longtemps sur ma peau... soit je suis anosmique à ce parfum (non je n’ai pas le covid, je sent tous les autres parfums durant la journée), soit la tenue n’est pas folle... je passe mon tour. Pour le prix, j attend une meilleure concentration car il est clairement trop "dilué " 🤗

C'est malheureusement le gros point négatif pour moi également. Il ressemble plutôt à un parfum de la collection les Eaux et qui n'est pas non plus dans la même gamme de prix 😕

Oui beh pour le coup je trouve que les Eaux sont plus intéressantes côté prix, même si elles ont pris une bonne grosse augmentation récemment. J'ai eu un jolie coup de cœur pour Herbes troublantes, je pense que celui-là risque de me rejoindre au printemps 😁

Musc blanc similar to l heure blanch?

I don't have l'Heure blanche but I tried it when it was released. They have a similar vibe as a soft musky fragrance but I don't remember l'Heure blanche having this vegetal musk in the opening which remains quite dominant until the dry down.
