Great to see these beautiful Alfa's / Busso's being preserved. Top man! I've done the same with a 156 V6 veloce wagon - you sorted me out with the air filter housing, thanks! Love the spec on this GTV and look so much better without the spoiler to me. Keep up the fantastic work and really informative vids, mate!
A glorious engine note. I loved working on these back in the late 90’s. The 24v is an absolute gem and those chrome inlet headers look fab. So pleased this one lives on.
It's a petty you did not clean the engine before sliding it into the body but I was really touched when you truned it on!! Great job! Greetings from Italy
Hey Niel, don't give up mate I love what you have produced and i'm waiting for my coupe to come out of quarantine and whilst i brought it from the UK I did get many photos of it.
Glad I'm not the only one plagued by that damn injector light! Just about to put a new cam shaft sensor in my Twinspark, what a lovely job! Lets hope this works.
@@ItaliaAutos is it possible to replace the cam shaft sensor without removing the cam belt and all the other stuff on a 932 2.0 twinspark, as I've just been quoted £500 for it all to be changed
@@ItaliaAutos Watch carefully at 7:40 you touch the rubber part of the fuel hose going to the rail with your right hand and a bit of fuel squirts out as it moves. Maybe you should go back and double check just to be on the safe side.
Good job! Engine sound is great. I have the same engine 156 2.5 V6 but the sound is not the same. Are the ehauxt system not connected? Thanks for sharing.
Nice to see it coming back from the other world ! I have a 156 V6 i'm working on, it has a very bad idling, lots of misfires but everything mecanical is good, sparks are good, new injectors, all sensors new, timing is good, heads redone, compression at 12-12.5 on every cylinder and no fault on ecu. Do you think the problem could be the ECU ?
Does it have equal length pipes and a Wizard system? I never knew a really early GTV had no DBW and also had EGR. My ex 95 164 Super had EGR but still had the old flap AFM. I guess when the 156 came they switched to DBW.
Good sound! Thinking about selling my fiat barchetta and getting an Alfa or something. Any good cars for students but fun to drive? Thinking about a GTV or GT
@@ItaliaAutos I think I had the same expression as you when I got my cheap Thesis running the other day , had been fighting it on and off for days. What keeps you going isn't it the satisfaction of a fix
Hey everyone who is loving this. I have one for sale. Best car I have ever had. Owned it for 13 years, lots spent. Recently listed on autotrader. due to coronavirus job loss. So sad to have to sell this beautiful machine.
Gorgeous sound with that exhaust
Very loud.
It's unbelievable how great the old Arese V6 sounded.

awesome cars.
It looks gorgeous, even without the work on the bodywork yet. Gorgeous colour and the engine sounds fantastic!! Well done mate.
Thanks a lot!
Nice to see that i am not the only one that ends up cutting myself when working on cars. Great vid
Right on
Gorgeous car with an amazing sound. Totally deserves to be back on the road and saved!
Absolutely!

Sounds lovely - nothign beats a good busso ;-)
You got that right!
Gorgeous Busso! What exhaust is fitted to it?
Ill have to ask the customer but its very loud. Not a daily driver sound.
@@ItaliaAutos love it. Something like that wouldn't be popular with the neighbours started early in the mornings. 😁
@@giovannisantoro8574 I wouldn't mind.
sounds phenomenal.
it sure does.
"Hi boss, my car broke down, so I'll be running late"
How late?
"18 years"
The Busso is possibly the nicest sounding engine ever. Followed by Volvo/Fiat 5 cylinders lol
it sure is.
Beautiful car and that V6 sound... 🙂
Couldn't agree more!
Yay, can't wait to see this now 🤗
Good job mate 👍
Fingers crossed I'll have time to do the last few jobs before the month is out.
Great video 👍 nothing sounds better than a Busso V6
Couldn't agree more!
Nice one mate, well done.
Thanks 👍
Glorious sound!
Closest sound and feel ur get to owning a Ferrari lovely sound 😎
yeah closest i'll ever get
Great video thanks for sharing 👌🏼
Thanks for the visit
Lovely stuff , nice job

That’s a bloody great noise isn’t it ...😍
very
@Italia Autos Watch out! It's got a fuel leak from rail2!!! It would be a shame to burn it down. At 7:40
Its smoke. Surprisingly no leaks from that rail. Just the air leak from egr as I didn't tighten up the bolts.

This has got a very loud exhaust. Thanks for watching
Hi , great video’s Posts! Ive a question ; What do i need to do for a Brembo brake conversion for a gtv 916? Can you please help me out?
Great engine!
Indeed!
I had one, exactly this model, V6 with Teledials. If anyone wants to know what the fuss is about Alfa, drive one of these. You'll understand
Yep. Totally agree.
Indeed, love my V6 in Coventry Green & tan interior, with gta teledials, q2/refreshed suspension with konis and eibachs, special thing!
Great work! Please get rid of that filler cap sticker 🤣
Thats bodywork. Not getting paid to take that off. But I'd do it for free. 00's tat.
Nice build. Love the exterior and sound! What’s the exhaust setup?
Thanks
Its a wizard exhaust

Sounds great! wouldnt of thought it was ecu.
By Jove and by Golly, that sounds almighty!!
sure is
Good job

10:32, hood open or front bumper is sitting too low? Gap between those is a bit too big.
It runs its not finished lol.
@@ItaliaAutos I see. It's just that I have same thing with my GTV and I'd like to see if you make a video how to adjust it. :)

yes it does.
Any plans to do a brake bleed run through on a V6 gtv with the brembos about to do mine and any tips on bleeding them?
i do need to bleed them again still.
Just bleed them, nothing special

I'm looking for a barchetta to feature on my channel if its cheap and for sale.

Stock exhaust??
Far from it.
Reassuring you make mistakes like that with pipe as I do very similar things lol
oh yeah plenty of mistakes. lol

What is your opinion on a brera as a first car?
if your new to driving i would say no. alfa 147 prob best to start on.
7:39 fuel is leaking
yes it was just a clip i didnt clip in. sorted it shortly after.
What the heck is that exhaust?
wizard
Nice! Did you find out why the red engine light came on?
sticking relay for the air flow meter.

Is it possible to swap a 2.0 engine for a V6...?
if you have the money.
Is that a wizard exhaust?
by the sound of it id say so.
@@ItaliaAutos That is definitely a Wizard catback, the most distinctive busso sound by far, completely different from anything else!!
Is this car for sale? If not how much did you sale it for?
its now a customers car.
