You will love it. Yes it does really well in strong wind but you will want to turn up the speed so it can fight the wind. It is a very light drone but when it is getting bounced around you will see the video does not show it. Ill have to do a recording when the winds are strong.
another cool test... Gary Sumner did a bunch of tests with that RTH flight in the woods and it seemed to always find its way back... some pretty gnarly routes, too.. lol That green line always makes it seem crazy!
Yes I think I saw that and I loved it. I was trying to do myself but I need a I think canopy up top so it cannot rise up. I will definitely test this again when I find the correct location thanks for watching and thanks for your comment.
Hey there, I did not even see who commented lol. Yes I tried to re-create that post the other guy did to see if I could duplicate it. I believe I watched one you did also and it was pretty cool. It was a shorter version. I did try a number of times to get this to happen and I noticed that if I did not have a canopy blocking it from going up, so it would stay low when RTH it would raise up to the height and come home to you. I cant remember if I actually the other RTH options were just come straight back to you. I may have to test again. Your name is Kevin correct?
I did not want the drone to go up and then come back to me. I did not think it would crash what I wanted it to do from other videos I’ve seen is stay at the ground level and come back to me underneath the trees what I found in testing if you have a canopy of trees, it won’t go up. It will stay at the ground level and come back to you. It did that one time but then it went up. I will be finding a different location and test this again.

What were you not liking about the RTH under the trees? Did it look like it would have crashed going up into the branches so you aborted?
