im 12 years old as making this and this has become one of my favorite songs of all time. i got a dri patch for my jean jacket and i went and saw you guys live at portland, it was a kickass show.
@@SpikeCassidy Oh my god I wasn’t expecting you to actually respond! But yeah I’ll be sure to beg my dad to go to another dri concert. I also forgot to mention that my dad got me into you guys and just thrash metal in general. You guys are some of the best metal out there! Keep thrashing and Dri for ever🤘
I love everything D.R.I. The guitar tone is amazing. I've always tried to emulate it with all the different amps and gear I've had over the past 4 decades of my playing guitar and never could dial it in near as good as this.
2004. Nashville, TN. Exit/In... I showed up early for the gig n helped your roadie with the load in. Said hi to you guys, moshed it up n had great old time.
Spike Cassidy nice to see you guys still doing ,wat you guys do best , come to Bakersfield or Fresno soon ... been a fan since you guys started ... DRI ...
We used to break into this old gym when I was a kid and skate our asses off with this shit screaming outta of a bigass boombox. Still love this shit! Sho nuff, sho nuff!!! 🚷
I remember those days... late 80's, it's Saturday afternoon, was playing AD&D at a friends house who had one of those big ass satellite dishes then at night time went for some burgers and was in time to watch Headbangers Ball... 35 years later and this still kick so much ass! God i how i miss those times.

I've been looking for this album for YEARS & can't find it ANYWHERE. There were only a very few of us who were DRI fans in HS... I graduated in '91. Lol
Classick!! 🤘😎 had the album on cassette as a young punk decades ago, learned and jammed this on guitar so often I wore out the first copy. To this day, still some of my favourite riffs to thrash on. Sick progression and rhythms. Musically and lyrically still just as relevant as ever! Big thanks the inspiration and vibes
Classic!! Being a young wild child I heard this song and DRI for the first time on a Canadian TV show called the Pepsi Power hour and it featured everything from Napalm Death to DRI and everything in between. Eventually got myself a Bass and started learning every DRI song I could. Good times \,,/
I was at that filming of this video the band came out and said we're making a video so slam the shit out of each other what a great night I had so much fun
This was at the Omni, I was there. I went under the stage and got a guitar pick that he dropped thru the grate and put in on my necklace. Playing it in slow-mo now to see if I can find myself. LOL
God 2021 i want to Mash so bad listing to this but now im old and my body is beat up from over the years lmao but fuck ya when music was music you energy vs. Plug and Play
D.R.I. if you are a true Heavy MetalHead you have to love this band it's real Heavy Thrash Metal. I wish it was still like this but time has changes people have changed. They think differently and dress differently, Even listen to music like Rap and Hip Hop it's not the same anymore. Before you would kick it with Metal Heads and go to concerts walk on the street and get wasted godd times. I am a metal Head Forever...
I would say everyone kinda stayed the same since the 2000 maybe 90s but there are some dumbasses that dwell online mostly ( the snowflakes and cancel culture ) and ruin the fun for everyone over petty shit.
Hi Spike, hope you're okay. You know, I have a question. With all the modern stuff and effects of today, can you get that guitar sounding the same as on the 1988 album 4 Of A Kind?
@Amnesiacmidnitetoker Hmm, I'm 45, no kids, nice work, no ties, still going to concerts. I don't miss those days, it's just another point in space and time... Then there was HC, now there is Doom metal, tomorrow... how knows...
DRI, not just a Band but a way of life!!!
Beast life
Roast beast life!
33 years later and this song is still sicker than anything that's come out in a lonnnng time.
the whole scene then. lots of people have lost their resolve
I will always love D.R.I. The first time I saw them was at the Olympic in Los Angles in 1986. It was Slayer/Metal Church/Overkill/D.R.I./The Blast.
