It's been two years since this came out and two years from me actively following WTK. Wow, I remember when the fam was so small but it's huge now. I'm really happy for Trav, Hunter, Coley, Danny and Charles for how far they've brought the band, and although I don't listen hardly at all anymore I'm still hella proud (if not more) because I remember them being a really little-known band and to see them so far is really amazing

When I listen to this song I think of Charles and all the issues he has had and how he has overcome them, my grandad is in the same situation as Charles and the sad thing is I heard lay get to speak to him. As someone who suffered chronic depression and severe anxiety(dealing with both is beyond excruciating) I've learned to take things in life without thinking anymore. let go of everything that causes you pain, and keep grasping for things that makes you happy. Personally, without my dog, I wouldn't be here today. I owe my entire life to him, he has inspired me more than anyone else. You gotta realize life is very very easy, we just make it so much more difficult than we should be.

And although at the time I didn’t understand why I did it, I can now confidently say that it kept me from bottling everything up and kept my life from taking a much darker turn. I know you guys will likely never see this but now that I’m old enough to express myself and understand my emotions and grief, Thank you. When I listen to this song I think of Charles and all the issues he has had and how he has overcome them, my grandad is in the same situation as Charles and the sad thing is I heard lay get to speak to him. Every time I hear this song I just think about when I was bullied and how bad it was, I then think about the new people in my life the ones who have changed me to be the person I am today. Each and every one of them deserve everything the world has to offer because they brought me out of a dark place and accepted me with open arms. As someone who suffered chronic depression and severe anxiety(dealing with both is beyond excruciating) I've learned to take things in life without thinking anymore. let go of everything that causes you pain, and keep grasping for things that makes you happy. Personally, without my dog, I wouldn't be here today. I owe my entire life to him, he has inspired me more than anyone else. You gotta realize life is very very easy, we just make it so much more difficult than we should be.
No matter how hard things get, your storm will always pass. Nothing says bad forever, like every storm, you need sunshine and rain to create a rainbow. Never give up. I know that feelings all too well.

So....I have a confession to make. I never really listened to We the Kings. I first became a CTFxCer about 3 years ago....then became a part of the DLV and followed Travis's vlogs too. And I always liked watching y'all perform on the vlogs and got chills when this song would show. But omg today I just started listening to all your music and oh my lord....why did I waste all that time not listening to y'all!?!?!?!? I'm going to buy all of the albums tomorrow. All of you are an inspiration. I'm a RN in a psych hospital and I don't have one doubt in my mind that you all have saved lives with the messages that you put out. And then with the vlogging on top of that....you make your fans feel so loved! You have NO idea what that can do for some people that literally feel hopeless. I have seen people in horrible, horrible situations and stuff like this...stuff that gives people hope saves lives. Keep doing what you do. Every one of you are amazing.
