Thanks for the informations - very helpful ! I only wanted to add a comment concerning the fact that my Umarex-model had a slightly different locking of the trigger spring unit - there was not a screw for fastening but a bolt. First i couldn´t identify that this bolt was really removable because it seemed united with the frame - i used a side cutter to pull it out... Greetings from Germany ! Marc
Hey Marc, thanks for the update. It seems umarex have made a few minor changes with how the gun is put together. Great to have viewers from Germany, thanks for watching.
Bought mine about a year ago, love it, it’s a great little crack barrel and very accurate. Saving this video for future tinkering, thank you for making it.
You have created a review so that it has become one of the best ! I saved it for the manual - how to shoot a video. One thing is - there is not enough light. Sincerely, master. I review it often.
Thank you,...great informative video......I've wanted to strip mine down and remove any factory gunk and re-lubricate it since I bought it....I've already lightened the trigger, making it a more pleasant shooter (mostly for my grandson).....
Great video... wonder if you could help a bit more. at 11:12, the small allan key screw wasn't visible, it looked like it had an aluminium blank filling the hole like they do on the Air Arms rifles on key allan screws to stop you doing any maintenance/tuning. I thought I'd drill it out using the same trick but it's all gone a bit pear shaped and now I'm in a long way (about 6mm), still no sign of the plug finishing and no grub/allan screw! Now not sure if I've drilled out a plug that was pressure fitted to stop it being taken apart and now made the pistol unsafe/usable. HAve you or anyone else come across this... any ideas? Many thanks.
you may have a different model to us so i would say do some looking into different models of the buckmark because it been out for a long time their maybe slight veriations over the years but if not we can take it apart agian and lookintoit for you.
Best instructional video I've ever watched, and I've watched plenty! I'll be buying that pistol soon and utilizing your video. Great job Bloke! I will be testing the trigger prior to disassembly and attempt to modify it, if necessary. I will probably add weights under the pistol grip if the gun feels too light. I might even try stretching the spring a little? I have to do more research re that project. I will probably use some metal shim stock to reduce the barrel play. Thanks again.
I just purchased one of these and the first shot has jammed in the barrel, I thought I was just a bad shot so loaded another, it wasn’t until the 4th shot I realised they wasn’t even coming out. What do you suggest I do? Try and take it back or fix it myself? Thank you. Great video
Obviously the first pellet jammed, and the rest are behind it. Try clearing the barrel with thin rod of some sort. You may have just been unlucky and had a deformed first pellet. If you get it cleared try another brand of pellet if the ones you have jam again. Good luck.
@@ShootfishProductions thank you I appreciate it, especially getting back to me so soon. Should I push them back the way they came or try to push them out the front?
Very detailed video! I have a question. Which parts are metal, which parts are plastic? weapon body? The handle (under the cover)? The mounting rail? The part under the mounting rail? Thanks for the reply!
Hi, thanks for your comments. The barrel shroud is plastic, or as its now called ballistic polymer. So is the mounting rail. The main body including under the grips is all metal. Hope this helps.
@@thomasunbekannter6464 I think a stronger spring would work, but it would have to be the same length. I tried packing with washers under the spring, but then it would not cock.
Hi, not sure about that. I dont think springs like being stretched, and they are manufactured with a heat process. This is probably not the best pistol for power increases to be honest. Thanks for watching.
Biggest problem is the trigger pull. Read the reviews. The only cure I found, was to remove the trigger group. You will see a trigger spring. Remove, take off a link or so,grease it and replace. Got my trigger down to 4 lbs.
Thanks. I agree entirely, softer trigger and more power. I did try and increase power by stacking more washers under the spring, but then it wouldn't cock. I do like how quiet it is though. Thanks for watching.
I accidentally fired the gun while the breach is open, and now the trigger won't cock. I'm kind of in idiot when it comes to airguns. I came to this video hoping I could find the issue by taking it apart, to which I have come to nothing. Any ideas?
Terrific instructional video, clear and informative. Thank you.
I am grateful to my English friend for his video review. I want to thank him in his language. The master deserves it.

Excellent piece and well narrated. Mine's en route, so I shall have to dig out my little driver set. Thanks.

Can you use a stronger spring?
Thanks Mate. Concise and to the point. Polished my trigger catch the day I got mine. Will try the spring washer trick at next maintenance. Cheers!

Very informative thanks for posting. I've just ordered one so this video was a great find.

Superb video. Did you change the Spring for the trigger ?
Hi, thanks, no I didn't.

Thanks, from Canada.
How many joules? how many meters comes the lead?
We will make a video and show the power, also see if the power can be increased. Thanks for your question.
Shootfish Productions compatible 4.5 mm steel balls?

Did this increase the FPS if so by how much?
No, no increase in fps or power.

Hello!
Thanks for the information. Would a stronger spring still work safely?

Is stretching spring makes it more powerful?

I agree, shortened my trigger spring and it improved it. It's still nothing special, but better.

Probably the cocking lever, the flat bar that pushes the plunger back. Disassemble and reassemble, good luck.
Thank You
