I received a text from a TH-camr (AUSTRALIAN IN BELARUS) that a local from Slonim, Belarus wants to offer a local tour. So, I hopped on a train and took the 3 hour ride to Slonim and checked into the local hotel in the center and met up with Andrei the local tour guide. I spent 2 days with him going around Slonim and discovering the amazing history of Slonim. This is the Belarus nobody sees. Part 1 of a 3 part series. Hope you enjoy.

@@allodicventures ı now saw that Michael Marks, Jewish businessman who co-founded the famous Marks&Spencer stores was born in Slonim. Andrei is not the only numbers guy from Slonim for sure :)

Jewish has many looks. But yeah he does look like many Belarusians I know. I only asked because Slonim was mostly Jewish before WW2.
