I also wonder if he didn't take that long hiatus in late 2016-2017 where he fired his team and chased a guru, and switched to an all-liquid diet.. He probably would've won at least a few more slams in that window. He was at his true peak. In my mind there's no doubt he's the goat, I knew that in 2016 even before he had all the records.

A Pfizer executive, Janine Small has admitted the company did not test whether its Covid-19 vaccine stopped transmission of the virus before its launch.
The peer reviewed British Medical Journal (one of the oldest established and most respected medical journals in the World) exposed concerns re the vaccine. The BMJ published an investigation into poor clinical trial research practices at Ventavia, a contract research company helping carry out the main Pfizer covid-19 vaccine trial.
It was based on dozens of internal company documents, photos, audio recordings, and emails provided to The BMJ by a former employee of Ventavia, and it raised serious concerns about data integrity and patient safety.
The article went through The BMJ’s usual high level legal and editorial oversight and peer review.
Readers of the journal began reporting a variety of problems when trying to share the article. Facebook fact checkers were blocking them. Facebook, a non medical organisation had the audacity to fact check the BMJ and describe them incorrectly as an online blog. The BMJ urged Facebook to act over incompetent “fact check” of the BMJ investigation.
Editors ask Mark Zuckerberg to correct errors relating to The BMJ’s Pfizer vaccine trial investigation.
Editors at The BMJ are urging Facebook to correct a “fact check” of a recent investigation that they say is “inaccurate, incompetent and irresponsible.”
In an open letter to Mark Zuckerberg, they said, this matter “should be of concern to anyone who values and relies on sources such as The BMJ for reliable medical information.”
They also urge parent company Meta to reconsider its investment in and approach to fact checking overall following other examples of incompetence.

Yep. There was no data, never any, that proved the "vax" prevented transmission. A pharmaceutical that doesnt sterilize the pathogen and that only mitigates the severity of illness (and even that was based on questionable data) is NOT and will never be a true vaccine. The choice to take a pharmaceutical or not should always rest with the individual, especially when said choice is of no consequence to the risk of public transmission.

Novak Djokovic is so eloquent and well spoken. The way he answered that GOAT debate was so thoughtful because technology in sports and medical science do come in to play so it’s had to compare generations but yeah going by the number he is inching closer towards closing that GOAT debate

@@RallyVozacbut that 1 slam makes all the difference. It’s the only real tally that matters, and he is definitely going to take it. Had a much better second half of his career than Nadal, Nadal peaked very young and destroyed his body. But saying he is the goat without the slam tally is a bit premature imo, he’s gonna get it no doubt but people need to wait till he does and they both retire. He’ll probably have a 3-5 more!

I wouldn’t worry haha I think Nole still has at least 3 good years at a high level… that’s a lot of slam opportunities even if he can’t play US open. He won this beating nearly everyone in straight sets. The next gen is just mentally weak. Alcaraz is the only real threat because he has killer instinct and the pressure doesn’t get to him. It’s almost a foregone conclusion he retires with more than Nadal. It’s obvious he is driven to have the record and he takes care of himself enough to see it through.
Two at the most. Too many GREAT young players. I even put Alexander Zverev in there if he can stay healthy and stop with the double faults already.
