It is most unfortunate that a player has to take up the role of a regulator. There is a minority in a crowd which comes not to watch matches but create nuisance and they should be identified and purged out never to be admitted again.
There are times when the minority is on the side of the truth (I don't know what it was yelled from the crowd; it may have had to do with the fact that his three-year suspension was lifted for no good reason). This guy has no shame and is obsessed with his image, and then acts as if he is the victim, and as if he is man of principle.

These moments the match could go into french side so they left them to continue what they have been doing until Novak acted upon it in fourth set when everybody can see who is dominating the match and who is going to win. I have been on many matches like this with Novak and this is nothing new as someone is always organising idiots like these and place them on the side of the stadium(this time they have been a few rows behind Novak’s box and his parents) so they will bother Novak a lot. But he is mentally very strong person … let’s hope his injury won’t give him much trouble.

I remember the drunk woman at the AO-2022 match who was hackling a few times in the direction of Nadal something about his boring game style. And he did not have to go to the chief umpire, lose energy on the conversation or ask him something - her getting out was done automatically during the game between points. Zero tolernce to this behavior type and that's it.

The French Open by far has the worst crowds. They are ruthless especially toward a non-French player playing a French player. They're rabid. They hoot, they holler, they cheer when you make any small mistake. And this has been going on since I can remember first watching in the early 2000's. Novak was absolutely right here and handled it well, the drunken hecklers really should have been ejected sooner. There is no place for this kind of behaviour at a tennis match, especially at a Slam. Complete lack of respect and it’s becoming a theme, not just in Australia but at a lot of tennis matches these days. There should be zero tolerance for this and abusive spectators immediately ejected, maybe they will then get the message.
