Doesn’t really matter because no one cares what you think. This is a state of the art facility. Without efforts if people like this pandas would be extinct today. They are obviously well cared for and healthy. But if your that concerned I’m sure they would love your funding to build a larger habitat.
Nope, you're not. And I don't know which Kool Aid flavor Localtraveler2376 has been sniffing, but that's definitely not SOTA. There are a lot of amazing things in and about Japan, but the way they handle zoo animals and pets (at least in pet stores) is definitely not one of them. And that has nothing to do with lack of funding.
This video was depressing. These enclosures are not good enough for these animals. Too small, no nature water source or real greenery. You know why the pandas were sleeping? Because they were bored, as they had no enrichment. Then the flamingos standing in stagnant water pool, to the poor penguin alone in a small area. This was just sad. I'm sorry, usually I enjoy your videos, but this one made me sad 😢
Same here, I was horrified by the concrete, indoor enclosures for the pandas - why weren't they at least out in the open like the other animals? So awful. The baboons were put in what looked like a construction site, basically a desert of rocks and sand. The cheetah had some greenery in its space, but it was tiny - this is the world's fastest land mammal and it had nowhere to run. All of these animals are highly intelligent and need to space to roam. This was just cruel.
@@ingredientsbylouise I love Japan for many many things. But giving animals in a zoo an environment, with enough space, nature and overall a good living situation, is definitely not the case there. I am also disgusted by those enclosures.
Outstanding video Pandas are so cute. Although there's negative comments on this video I for one dont have anything negative to say about this video. These pandas are not in bad health they are clean. They eat and drink and sleep fine. They aren't in any harm and this video shows that this is where they were born. They are being taken care of. Thanks for taking time out your personal life to give us true fans another great video that aren't lucky enough to visit Japan. ❤
I have never been in a Zoo in Japan, and after seeing this one, I think that Japan shouldnt have Zoos. The enclosures for the animals are horrible and much to small. Not enough nature and really not animal friendly.
My brother, I enjoy each and every video that you upload...even without any commentary or words, you show us everything...you are the Real Travel Mascot of Japan.😊❤
Thank you, my friend! I’m really glad you enjoy the videos, even without commentary. I appreciate your kind words and support-being called the “Real Travel Mascot of Japan” means a lot!
Thanks for another great video. However, as was commented earlier, some of the spaces seem rather small and constraining for the Pandas, Cheetahs, etc. I know sometimes space must be at a premium, but they need to expand these areas and have space for the Pandas outside. Otherwise, thank you as it was enlightening as always and fun to watch. FYI, there are plenty of situations like this in the U.S. with animals in enclosures.
Total concrete jungle... it doesn't allow ample space for the animals esp the pandas. I've visited countries with the enclosures that mimics the wild nature and habitat for the pandas. This one is horrifying with dirty concrete flooring and wilted bamboo leaves. Sorry to say but this one looks depressing. This is different than the Ueno zoo or even at Everland Park in S.Korea.
One thing I loved about Japan is how the stations would be themed to help promote any big local attractions, that station was very cool and the ticket for the park is super cute
One of the things I loved about Japan is how the stations are themed to promote local attractions. That station looked really cool, and the park ticket is super cute!
I have enjoyed most of your videos but this was the first time I was appalled and disappointed. The pandas are kept in tiny little concrete boxes indoors - they must be bored out of their skulls. These are highly intelligent animals that would probably roam large areas of wilderness if they could. Same thing with the leopards, the primates, the rhinos, all of them. Why are humans keeping these wild animals in captivity for their own amusement? Please don't support these kinds of businesses.
Pandas are certainly not highly intelligent creatures. They cannot survive in the wild and their survival heavily depends on human intervention and support due to their notorious mating schedules.
Japan has so much freaking space. At the very least, give the animals enough room to actually exercise somewhat. The pandas specifically lacked enrichment as well. There was no natural grass, actual trees and enough toys. Just some crappy balls. I will give having pandas in captivity a pass since they would be super extinct otherwise ='] Other than that, animals are not entertainment.
Thank you for saying that animals are not here for are amusement seeing that cheetah in that tiny cage just broke my heart🥺 all the animals need more space to move and run
@@art_nerd_21 I agree. But you can also save animals, give them a sancturary AND give them a natural good living habitat. Which is not the case here. And which is shameful for a country as advanced as Japan.
what another great video! i love how japan is so quiet especially on public transport and i love how they decorated the bus and train good job on catching the panda plushie by the way.
Those poor cheetas didn't have any space to run 😢 and we're talking about earth's fastest mammals. Many of the animals showed behaviour tipical of depression. People should never support this types of zoo where the animals lives in small, dirty or overcrowded spaces. For pandas, I understand that this is their best living conditions because they can't thrive in nature, but at least they should have a private space where they can sleep in peace and darkness like every living being need
My best friend knows I love trains, I hope you remember me while you were riding. The Pandas were beautiful but the one you clip to your clothes was cute.I could tell you enjoyed your sovereign. 😊😊 The hippo and the Rhino's and Giraffes were my favorites. I love how most of your ventures are by train. Waiting on the next video my friend. ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
Thank you so much for watching and for your lovely comment! It means a lot to know you enjoyed all the animals and the train journey. Can’t wait to share the next adventure with you, my friend! ❤❤❤
I love how trains are painted according to the theme park they're going. Like the dinosaur train, As for the bento, I'd have gotten another, but no harm with panda food. We are all like children inside when having fun.
A Japanese made Koploper type train? I had no idea such a thing existed outside of the Netherlands! Love the paint job too. Hopefully it's around for a long time.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video! The train is actually the JR East E351 series, designed for tilting to handle curves at high speeds. Its unique design and livery have made it a favorite among rail enthusiasts.
Everything was so cute. I love animals. Japan has a very nice zoo/safari. You were lucky the pandas were moving around. When I went to the San Diego zoo, the only part of the panda I saw was it's butt. Thanks for the vid.
We usually LOVE your videos, but this is the saddest thing we've ever seen from you. Please don't support zoos, especially ones where the facilities are so filthy, stark, and unnatural. They put more care into the money making shops and food hall than the panda enclosures. The behaviour of the pandas, cheetahs, etc was unnatural and sad. Humans can be monstrous. 😢
Yes, the behaviour of the animals was so indicative of their boredom and the stress they were under, living in such a confined setting and being under constant scrutiny. Horrible that people are using these animals for profit and entertainment.

Great trip and video. The train looks cute, and I think the Panda deserve bigger space for living and more living Bamboo.

Looks much like a dutch "Koploper" train
wow, a pandamonium.
Why are the pandas stained red?

Such a fun video! The pandas are adorable!❤😊
❤❤I love Panda Bears, they are so adorable. I would of enjoyed riding the Panda Express. Thank you for taking me a long.
Glad you enjoyed the virtual ride! Pandas are the best!
The Pandas sleep with their eyes to the wall because it's darker.

Well said. To make it worse, they’re bred in captivity. Even the panda bento tried to escape at 3:38 which I found.. ironic.

i wish we could have cool trains like that sigh
Hope you get to ride one someday! Thanks for watching!
Unnatural environment for the pandas. Shameful 😘
The pandas are kept in very well care, they don’t seem bothered about it
And why are you putting a kiss face? You are so unserious about it
I’m afraid if these pandas were not here they would die. Looks like they are well taken care of.
If it weren’t for human intervention pandas would be extinct already. Remember that when you want to complain about these sanctuaries.
