i was actually thinking of getting the 4cyl petrol(because i know petrol), ended up with the 1kd must admit i'm not upset i went diesel, just a steep learning curve, kinda makes me nervous but i enjoy learning ........... never use bosch plugs they're garbage always NGK's 👌, also for indexing plugs you can also get extra crush washers if you can't get it in the right spot (really really fussy racer boys know)... also a little anti-sieze on the threads can be a good thing especially with alloy heads..... just my worthless 2cents

Thankyou, how often do you change the plugs please? As well where is best online place for ordering plugs? Appreciate your good work and experience 👍

Depends what Engine and the top of use standard plugs maybe 40,000 km
Iridium and platinum last longer maybe 100 150,000 km maybe longer after all they do want to sell them to you so they might be telling us to change them at 100,000 when they’re still good to 200,000 that’s why they should be visually checked Periodically screw Repco down like I do get them for half price. The retail price is a rip off.

Hey mate, do you need to change all 6 spark plugs all together or can you do 4 out of 6 sparks...? Or 5 of 6...?

Do you just scrape the old rtv with a chisel or something to clean it up?

I think plugs are Torqued 14 pounds ,,,,but sounds like you do fine without torque wrench
