Let's Nitro - Break-in (part 1)

Finally had a break in the weather so I decided to put the first 2 tanks of fuel through the 2.2hp G3.0 Nitro engine. Before hand, I adjusted the tuning needles to factory settings and got all my equipment ready for the first start up of my HPI Bullet ST 3.0.
I took a bit of effort to get it started but after it did, it ran really well with no stalling or rough running. The tanks lasted around 20-25mins and the engine was tuned pretty well. There are 3 tuning options, Idle Speed, Low Speed and High Speed, so it may take a bit of time to get the perfect tune.
Tanks 3 and 4 will be 1/2 throttle and then after that we can finally see how much power this thing has. I can't wait!!!

what kind of fuel did you use and can i run this engine with 25% fuel ? Great video by the way :)

iLoveChickeen I use Model Technics fuel. Its an own brand by an RC supplier called Modelsport UK. I'm not sure about the 25% fuel. Thanks for the feedback.

You had to let iT idle

That was idling. I hadn't adjusted anything on it.

Shouldn't that idle be a Little bit lower?

That was the stock setting and I was following the instructions which said to break the engine in on the stock settings.
