Kimi Raikkonen takes pole at the Nurburgring (2003)

During the 2003 European Grand Prix Weekend, Kimi Raikkonen drove a stunning lap in the qualifying session. It was the first pole for the Finnish driver in his career. Mercedes director Norbert Haug was very pleased with Raikkonens result.
