I’d like to copy this build! Looks amazing, do you have someone I can reach out to for parts list? I’m in northern Canada. Not sure I can get some of the stuff shipped up here.
What size BDS block did you use? Did you have to get a different shock (rear)? How did you move the bumper forward? I ordered the same kit and trying to figure out these little things.
Beautiful truck. Great job. I can never get over the wheel size with the low profile side walls. Just my opinion, would have looked a lot better on 20s with the same 40s
Truck looks great, no doubt.. nice stance and curb appeal. But I can't help to not cringe when the suspension shot comes in and I see those #2 pencil tie rods still there. Yes, it's more money to upgrade that too. But you're swinging 40s. Most people don't understand the amount of rotational mass that is rolling down the highway. Even just 33s on stock wheels, you're still at 40-45# per tire. Minus wheel weight. Go up to 40s on 22s and you're at 110# per tire. At the end of the day, I guess you just do what the customer wants. If it fails, it's on them. 🤷♂️
I’ve never had a vehicle that was lifted but I do intend to do something exactly like this (but smaller rims maybe a 20s and a 37” tire ) when I get my truck but for something with a 9 inch lift do you need to upgrade the front and rear driveshaft to a longer heavier duty one as well as extended CV axles or do the factory ones work
Is the drive shaft still ok if i was to add 8 inch blocks with the keys turned to 9 inches? Im getting a 9 inch lift but my kit comes with a 5 inch block so ill probably be replacing that
What a gorgeous job. Top level quality. 40s are simply the perfect size on these trucks.
Definitely have to agree! 40s all the way

That setup on a 2500 gmc would look super clean
Sweet truck!!

The camera quality looks phenomenal! You can surely see the quality increase . Including the thumbnail
Thanks, we don’t use this camera as often as we should
Awesome work guys
Another badass Bowtie!
Pretty machine.

Looks good...Do you think it would sit level if set at 8in with shims in the back?
Yes, with stock keys

Sweet lord 😍
What kind of price for this kit with the wheels and tires

You think it could fit a 26×14 on 40" tires on that 9"?
Doubtful, we were pretty much maxed out on tire clearance . With a 14 wide I would drop to a 38

Most blocks for these trucks will move the rear axle forward slightly so that the rear driveshaft doesn’t need to be extended
Shewww looks awesome, but i would hate to be the one putting Gas in this thing !! Lol, 5 MPG😂
Exactly!! Lol
Cv axles are going to be dukes.
Angles are within tolerance range on this kit, but I wouldn’t adjust any higher
Would I be able to add 40in tire with 17 or 18 inch wheel? Instead of really big wheels?
With the proper offset yes.
What is the offset for the 40s?
@@annettebauer4218 -44 is what we recommend
You think you can or have done a GMC with 40s but no bigger than a 5” lift? I’ve seen it once but would love to see if anyone else has done it
With the right offset (like +18 maybe) would be possible
